Helping Small Children Sleep Better... So Parents Can Too!

Both of my girls share a room, and both of my girls seem to have the same issue when it comes to bedtime. A fear of the dark! I also have a few issues with my daughters when it comes to the morning routine, fear of sleeping in! Why is it that kids just get up and out of bed at 5 or 6 in the morning and feel the need to wake up Mommy and Daddy so gosh darn early? Regardless of if the sun is up or not, when they wake up they have to make it a point to make sure we know they’re up and at it with a loud GOOD MORNING MOMMY, even though, technically it is morning, it’s nowhere near the time to get up yet.

We did have a really cute clock for them in their room at one point where it would tell them if it was sleepy time or time to get up out of bed, with a really tiny digital time accompanied by it, but that alas got broken and chucked out with the garbage. When I heard about My Tot Clock I was so happy to see something else on the market, something a little better that would not only help me with bedtime/morning routines, but help out with discipline and teaching time (without a digital clock).

Let me explain to you just what the My Tot Clock is. For children ages 2+ the My Tot Clock lets kids know when it’s time to go to sleep and time to wake up. The face on the clock changes colors, it illuminates to blue when it’s time to be sleeping, and illuminates to a yellow light when it’s time to get out of bed. The great thing is, with the My Tot Clock even with the issues of being afraid of the dark, we now have a built in nightlight as well as it glows a nice blue light all night till morning when it changes to yellow (you obviously set the times you want this to happen, it’s like a colorful alarm clock).

The fun thing is not only learning to tell time on a real clock without the digital help, but the My Tot Clock also tells bedtime stories, sings lullabies, has music you can use as a wake up alarm, and you can even have white noise in the background for those little ones that need some extra help getting to sleep. Another feature that I think is just genius is the extra colors for things you can set timers on with the clock. For instance if your child is still taking naps you can set a nap timer in which the blue light will illuminate, or if you need to take your little one to a time out, just set the timeout timer and a red light will illuminate, need some encouragement maybe for something like potty training? A green light will illuminate through the clock for some encouragement, which lets the kids know they’ve done something positive or its time for some fun.

The My Tot Clock is an all around great invention to keep parents like me happy (our kids now know not to leave their room till at least 7 a.m.), help with discipline, bedtimes/naptimes, and show some positivity while teaching time all at once!

I don’t think you can find a better clock suitable for kids than the My Tot Clock, both of my girls have been raving about it and using it daily since the day we got it out of the box, one of their favorite things to do is take turns with their faceplates.

When we found out we’d be reviewing the My Tot Clock the girls decided on the Princess Faceplate which they were super happy with, but the clock also came with the Night Sky faceplate as well, so they take turns and switch the faceplate every week or so. The My Tot Clock also comes with an AC Adapter which is one of my other favorite features, no more batteries! But if you do need to use them, it does also take 4 AA batteries (which are included). And just so you’re not left out on any of the fun or features, the My Tot Clock comes with its first Tot Clock Treasures (story Cartridge) called Welcome To Children's Dreamland. With a variety of faceplates and Tot Clock Treasures your child will never get ‘bored’ with their My Tot Clock, and as a parent you’ll be wondering why you didn’t purchase one sooner.

C is for Cookie, K is for K'nex!!!

A childhood memory that spans the test of time it seems is Sesame Street. I’m sure you remember watching it, and see your own kids watching it today. I even remember and still have some of the Sesame Street books and toys from my childhood that my kids now enjoy when they visit Grandma and Grandpa’s house.

It seems that the popularity of Sesame Street hasn’t faded over the years, and with the introduction of Elmo, it seems that it’s hotter than ever. Team Mom has introduced us to a great new toy from Sesame Street and K’NEX. The K’NEX Sesame Street building sets! I was pretty familiar with K’NEX but always associated it as something for older children. When I heard about the K’NEX Sesame Street building set’s I was excited to see something for the younger kids to enjoy (ages 2+) and thought for sure that this is something Aria would love. She’s a very creative thinker and also a big time Sesame Street fan.

When we got the box in the mail, her eyes lit up with joy. ERNIE!!!! Was the first word that came out of her mouth when we opened the box. We were delighted to see the Bert & Ernie Building set. Playtime looked like it was going to be fun on that day. In the Bert & Ernie building set you can find three educational ‘play & learn’ activity cards. These allow both the parents and children to have great fun together while creating, learning and building with different activities and learning about colors. Each set also comes with a portable storage container that you can fit all your pieces inside and take with you, or put away neatly. The Bert & Ernie set has 46 pieces to it and you can build Bert & Ernie as well as a number of other imaginative things.

A great toy yet again from K’NEX, not only does it give the kids some fun times, which also allows them to use their imagination, but as well the Sesame Street building sets helps with physical, social-emotional, language, and cognitive development. My children just loved their building set, and I’m sure your child will love creating their favorite characters from Sesame Street themselves. Visit Knex for more sets and information.

WIN IT!!!
Win your very own Sesame Street Building Set from Team Mom and K’NEX! All you have to do is visit the K’NEX website and let me know which K’NEX Sesame Street building set you think your child would love for themselves. One winner will be chosen randomly to receive a K'NEX Sesame Street Building Set. *please note that the winner will be set a random K’NEX Sesame Street Building Set

Aspiring Little Chef's

The girls love to cook. They love being in the kitchen and watching me, or trying to help themselves. When I’m working with a new recipe, sometimes it’s hard to give them a chance to help out, as it could be difficult not only for them; but for me as well.

When I found a cookbook for kids, I was thrilled and had to try it out. Handstand Kids provides cookbooks that have easy recipes for kids to learn how to cook and have fun while doing it. It also helps introduce them to a different language at the same time. It’s great to give kids a hands-on learning experience and get them excited about the world around them.

We got the Italian cookbook and being Italian myself, it was nice to be able to teach my kids some words that they can familiarize themselves with when cooking. You’ll journey into Italy once you open your pizza box and find the cookbook inside along with your very own chef’s hat. Inside the book, you’ll find pages that illustrate items and then give you the Italian word underneath. The recipes were fun and easy that we could all do it together; the girls especially loved the chef’s hat that came inside the box along with the cookbook.

Not only does the book offer fun and flavorful recipes, but the Handstand Kids are also a diverse group of characters (the vegetarian, the picky eater etc.) so there’s sure to be a character that you or your child can be familiar with. The recipes are also nutritious recipes but something kids will find delicious at the same time.

Handstand Kids cookbooks are a great item for kids who are interested in the art of cooking. It’s also a great help to parents when they want to find something easy enough to cook with their children. Right now you can get the Italian Cookbook and the Mexican Cookbook from Handstand Kids. Handstand Kids was just named one of the 2008 winners of the Top Toy of the Year from TDMontly.

You can purchase a Handstand Kids Cookbook for $28 by visiting their website: www.handstandkids.com

Every Girl Is Beautiful...

I love finding great brands and products for the girls that have a positive message and are more than just the product inside the bottle. J. Blossom is one of those products.

Featuring fun, natural and great smelling bath and body products J. Blossom also provides a great and clear message that it’s more than just our skin that matters. Every product on the J.Blossom line also comes with a great saying on the bottle, founder Jamila White wants to provide little girls with the self esteem that they should have rather than hearing all the media message that they’re given. Each product lets little girls know that with tags such as “I have a beautiful smile”, “Beautiful skin comes in all shades – yummy chocolate, smooth caramel, or creamy vanilla!” and my favorite "Short or tall, thick or thin, I love the skin that I am in!".It was nice especially for the girls, to see someone that looks almost like them on one of their products for once, although they’re not hit with the media/social concept of light skin, straight hair and skinny bodies, as they get older I try to instill in them that they’re beautiful no matter what, it’s the inside that counts. The girl’s favorite thing about the products was the great grape smell that came from their lotion and lip balm. The lotion is one of their favorite things to put on after a nice warm bath. The smell of grape isn’t too strong, and I actually find it very pleasant. All of the J.Blossom products are natural and free of artificial colors and mineral oils. From bath products, lotion, lip balm and even insect repellent J.Blossom has great affordable products for kids of all ages. Gift sets are also available at a great price and with the scents of Strawberry Banana Smoothie or Great Big Grape what little girl wouldn’t love to indulge in them.

Visit www.jblossom.com to view more of their products and grab some for yourself and your kids. If you sign up for their newsletter you can also get 10% off your first order! You can also try your hand at winning some yourself right here on A Wrestling Addited Mommy’s Blog.

Win a J. Blossom Mini Fun Pack in Great Big Grape. Two people will have the chance to win one of these great fun packs which includes the following:

• A 2oz bottle of J.Blossom Natural Body Lotion
• A 2oz bottle of J.Blossom Natural Bubblebath/Shower Gel
• A J.Blossom Natural Lip Balm
• A Mesh Bath Puff
• Packaged in a reusable vinyl drawstring bag

A great prize pack I know my girls would definitely enjoy and am sure yours would too. Now, to enter for a chance to win this great prize, what you need to do is head to the J.Blossom website and let me know what you like about their products as well as what product you’d like to try most.

In all honesty...

In reality, yea my kids are like a lot of others, either honest when they shouldn’t be, or not honest when they should be. Sometimes though, its fun to let those little imperfections shine and be honest about them, no one is perfect so why lie about it! Honestbaby reminds us all about those little imperfections that our kids might have and even share with others. They remind us that there is no perfect parent!

Honestbaby was founded by a mom who was just frustrated by the pressures of being the perfect parent, so she decided to let it out publically and sell some really great tee’s for kids and babies with funny sayings on them, sayings that remind us all to laugh and accept the imperfections, because we all have them.

My favorite shirt that I have for my youngest is “Sharing is overrated”. Now who would be one to announce to another parent, my child doesn’t like to share and be proud of it? Well, now you can be (sort of) and get the little chuckles with it at the same time, while having your child look super cute in a t-shirt.

Visit honestbaby.com for more ‘witty’ tee’s that will make you chuckle at the little imperfections your child may share. Join in on ‘Celebrating the imperfect journey of parenting’, and have an honest baby yourself.

Stylin' with My First Shades

I'll admit, I become a freak with sunglasses. I just love them, I can't get enough for myself, I collect them and always have many different styles, brands and colors on hand. This has now trickled down to my girls. They LOVE sunglasses and I just love to buy them.

Not only is it great because they have a love for sunglasses just like their mama, but it's great that they can protect their eyes as well from the harmful UV rays that the sun gives off especially during the summer months. I don't have to fight with them at all normally to get them on, the fights tend to happen when I try to get them to take them off.

Our newest sunglass venture has taken us to some shades for the girls called My First Shades. These are just TOO cute. They're stylish (without the bling) and functional for little ones. Ranging in sizes from newborn to 7 years of age, My First Shades are for every kid in the family. They offer 100% UV protection (both UVA & UVB), they're shatter proof and water proof, and with the wrap around style neoprene band, they provide comfort and fit snuggly to a child's face. They are even Rx compatible a vision care professional can fit all styles of My First Shades with prescription lenses right into the polycarbonate frames.

Lyric and Aria are just thrilled with their's, like I said, its a fight to get them off the girls. With each their own individual style, they have their own individual style in sunglasses. Lyric loves her Just For Girls shades and Aria just loves her ABC Daisy shades. And they're a perfect fit for both the girls, not too big on Aria as they're sized for her age group and not too small for Lyric as they're sized for her age group as well.

I highly recommend stopping over to My First Shades and picking out a pair or two, or three or more for your kids, you won't be disappointed and they're great to last through the entire year and all seasons.

With Education, Children can Bloom...

The value of education is one that we cannot put a number to, we want our kids to be more educated than ourselves, no matter what the level of education we have. We strive to educated our children in one way or another even sometimes before they are out of the womb. Children are also very inquisitive and crave the desire to learn new things, how we teach them those new things can be via various sources and media. The trickiest part is finding something to keep them happy and interested in while keeping the educational value in the process.

One program we have found that my children both adore, is the True Learning program. True Learning covers six basic subjects which include: True Thinking, True Motor skills, True Math, Literacy, Art and True World. Each of these True Learning subjects consist of 4 different levels of advancement. Each level builds upon the previous level and the content is created to ensure success and mastery in each subject. By introducing each subject in an intuitive manner, the skills are reinforced and built upon which in turn creates success. Created for children ages 3 - 6 years, True Learning will challenge and simulate with each level.

True Learning consists of a package of 3,000 different worksheets and activities that are both fun and educational. The package comes on a CD which you can view and print yourself on your own computer (the worksheets are in a PDF format so Adobe Acrobat is required). Each worksheet has fun and colorful graphics which will encourage your child to stay on task and take them through a learning process that keeps them interested and is fun at the same time. From a level one worksheet that can teach them how to count, to a level four worksheet that teaches multiplication, learning to draw a curve and color, recognizing basic letters to learning the relationships between words, even fun craft worksheets to build on motor skills. True Learning has it all for every level a child may be at.

Jinhee Kim, the creator of True Learning believes that just 15 minutes a day your child can be on a successful path of True Learning, just Click Here to learn more about the True Learning Approach. You can also find sample worksheets at http://www.true-town.com/.

One lucky reader from A Wrestling Addicted Mommy's Blog will win their very own True Learning 2 Disc CD-ROM (ARV: $40), which includes the 24 True Learning Modules that span 6 core subjects over 4 levels of advancement: True Math, True Literacy, True Thinking, True Motor Skills, True Art, and True World.

Art for your little animals

The girls both love art, as do we. Currently we don't have much on our walls but we're working on it!

I stumbled upon an artist by the name of Carla Daly who specializes in art for children. I immediately feel in love with the prints, perfect for a nursery or children's room. Carla Daly is an Irish illustrator who's main interest is doing illustrations for children. Having her first child, Carla decided to set up an online print shop where she could have more control over her work and be able to be as creative as she wants, and work directly with buyers of her artwork.

Carla loves to hear what her customers wants and encourages you to contact her if you have any special requirements or personalization done. Shipment is worldwide, so everyone can enjoy these great illustrations.

One of my favorite illustrations and my girls as well, is the Jungle Tiger Print. It's 12" x 16" in size and is just adorable. We like the fact that the two tigers on the print, to us, represents the two girls. We keep the girls print framed and on the wall in their bedroom. They love animals so this is just perfect for them. The print is high quality and painted in acrylic paint and then printed on a 300gsm watercolor paper. When shipped, each print is backed with board and wrapped in cellophane with information about the artist in the outer packaging.

If your looking like something like this as a gift you can have the child's name hand painted by Carla on the print itself as well if specified. These prints are great for a new arrival, or just a special child in your life, even those 'children at heart' will enjoy these great illustrations, I know we do.

Carla Daly has provided me to giveaway one of her most popular prints, the Zebra Nursery Wall Art. This print valued at $17 and 30 x 40 cm (12"x 16") in size, perfect for a new nursery or children's room. As with all her other prints, this is a high quality print as well backed with board and wrapped in cellophane.

To be eligible to win, you must do the following:
  • Visit Carla Daly's website and leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite illustration/print BESIDES the Zebra or Jungle Tiger print.
  • Make sure there is a way for me to contact you, non bloggers can enter but if your not a blogger please leave your email address in the comment, if there is no way for me to contact you via a blog or email address you will be disqualified and your comment will be deleted. If you do not leave a comment with the above criteria and follow the guidelines your comment WILL BE DELETED and you will be disqualified.

Little Miss Muffet Sat On Her Tuffet...

Or Rather, Little Miss Aria & Lyric Sat On Their Tuffet......

Because that's usually where you can find them, arguing over who gets to sit on the tuffet because you know, sitting together is illegal in our house... Crazy Girls...

I was introduced to this great product called The Tuffet. What is it? Well The Tuffet was created by a mom originally for her little baby. Instead of surrounding him with pillows to protect him when he fell over when learning to sit up, she created The Tuffet. A soft sided 'pillow' of sorts to sit her baby on so he would be protected if he fell over.

The Tuffet can also be used by older children as well, mine who are 2 and 4 just love it and it gets dragged all over the house by the handles attached to the Tuffet, they either use it to sit and watch TV, or to lay down and take a nap (yes my 2 year old has done that), or they sit and read or color on it as well.

The Tuffet comes in two sizes. Small which is 30 inches around (this is what we currently have), and a Large which is 36 inches around. They are also a good 5 inches thick, and what I love is that they have a washable cover that can simply be unzipped and take the Tuffet (which is filled with polystyrene beans) out and throw the cover in the wash. There is also two handles on the sides and two pockets as well in which for a baby you can store diapers, wipes or even small toys.

The Tuffet is perfect for any member of the family. I even use it as a cushion when sometimes I feel like just laying on the floor with my laptop. My cats also tend to use it as a bed for themselves once the girls are asleep in bed.

I just love the idea of the Tuffet, perfect gift for babies, toddlers or heck even pets lol. It's very convenient something you could even bring with you to Grandma's house or just store in the corner or even under a bed, and I love the fact that it can be used from baby all the way up to adult. So, it's not something you'll buy only to be used for a few months to a year.

The Tuffet comes in various colors and fabrics. Why not head over to http://www.madebyamom.com today to view their various sizes and colors and pick up a Tuffet for your home, or for a gift for someone else. I know the way my girls use theirs I'm going to have to pick up a second one soon.

An Eco-Friendly Alphabet

Kids, my girls especially, love animals and what a great way to incorporate their love of animals and their love of learning new words than with a great tee and at the same time, they can be eco-friendly and as parents we can know we're just doing a little bit more to save our planet earth.

bioMe5 is an eco-friendly company who makes children's products. Their very popular Alphabet
T-shirt line brings the beauty of nature and the learning experience of animals to children both at the same time just through a simple tee. bioMe5 was founded by two architectural designers who wished to bring that beauty and love of animals to children who could appreciate the world around them.

The great things about these products from bioMe5 is that not only does it teach children about nature and animals, but it also encourages spelling and reading at the same time. For instance, my daughter's tee has a cute picture of a monkey on it, with the letter M right side up, but the word 'monkey' is spelled upside down to allow her to read the word when she looks down at the tee, it makes her so proud and more like a 'big girl' that she can do this by herself now.

bioMe5 not only carries tee's for toddlers and children (tee's come in sizes 2-6T both short and long sleeved), they also carry very cute onesies which are modeled after the same shirts for older kids (onesies come in size 3-12mths). All their items are 100% certified, undyed/unbleached organic cotton and are made in sweatshop free facilities. Items are tagless and preshrunk, the packaging for the products are also packaged using biodegradable bags that will degrade in as little as nine months.

You might think that bioMe5 is a very odd name for a line of children's clothing, some of us are just not aware of the meaning of bioMe5. Biomes are organisms which have adapted to a particular environment, think the dessert or grasslands, forests, tundra and aquatics. The 5 is used as a representation of these five natural biomes.

The animal alphabet shirts are a great gift for your own child or someone else's. You can match the letter with their name, or just start with their favorite animal, any child would be thrilled with their own Animal Alphabet biome5 shirt, I know mine just love theirs.

Be sure to visit www.biome5.com to learn more about their eco-friendly products and purchase your Animal Alphabet shirt today.

Circus Time with Kushies

Kushies yet again has come through as a great place to find just about anything for your child. Their line of Zolo Toys is just amazing. Bright, colorful and funky. They're sure to grab any child or even adults interest.

One of my favorite toys from their Zolo line is the Kushies Zolo Stacrobats. Since we've gotten it, it must be the most played with toy around the house daily, not only by the children, but by me and my husband as well, it's just an all around fun toy for the entire family. Children are encouraged to use their imagination while they play, and they learn about balance and dexterity at the same time. The 'stacrobats' are magnetic figures that include a few balls and also a magnetic base which in turn is also a carrying case. There's so many ways to connect them and try to make them balance and stack. Recommended age for the Kushies Zolo Stacrobats is 1 - 100 years old, so yes, as I said this is a family wide toy, and it's fun!

The line of Zolo toys from Kushies is so much more than just the Stacrobats. From activity mats, to mobiles, to bean bags, rings, activity books and so much more Kushies has hit the mark on creating a line of toys that will help with self expression and self confidence and encourage those brain cells to work a little bit harder than they do with other toys. Mobile Babies

Strollers have come such a long way since I've had to buy or use one, and it really hasn't been that long of a time frame. It seems like in just over a year, strollers have become more lightweight, more modern and simply just more cool.

Mutsy Strollers have to be one of the coolest strollers I've seen, for both mom and child. The Mutsy Slider is a light weight, compact, high performance and maneuverable stroller with a great modern but chic look. The many benefits of a Mutsy Slider is that it can be used as not only a stroller but also as a bassinet, and a car seat (with adapter). The upper body part is detachable and also has a reversible handle, makes it very easy for Mom, being lightweight, stylish and convenient it has every feature a new mom is looking for. I can only wish these were around when my children were younger.

Not only does Mutsy carry the slider, but they also have th 4 Rider stroller. Also with a strong handle, a protective hood and zip storage compartments, this is a great stroller with wonderful fabrics of your choice. The Seat separates so that it may be used to let your baby face you, or the front. You will also find an easy access basket and a car seat adapter included.

All Mutsy strollers are designed to make mom and baby be comfortable while they're mobile, indoors or out, Mutsy is the way to go.

You can visit www.mutsy.com for more information on their strollers, or if you wish to purchase one visit www.barebabies.com and use code: laam10offmutsy to get 10% off any Mutsy order.

Old School Socks for a New School Kid

I ran across this site a while ago, Nix Baby has one of the most simplistic items of clothing we put on our kids, but they're cute! I love the old school sports socks and to be able to have a size for one of my girls, is just too adorable not to want them.

Nix Socks were created by a mom who was just sick of constantly loosing one sock and only finding the other on her child. After looking for some of the really cute old school tube socks for babies, and coming up empty handed, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Nix Baby was created with boys and girls in mind, not only to have some really cute sock that can be worn with almost anything, but to make sure they stay on those little feet as well. The socks are sold in pairs of two and are “one size fits all” which fits shoe sizes 2-7.

Aria just loves her Nix Socks, she thinks they're 'pretty' and I can say that they have in fact stayed on her feet (unless she has willingly taken them off herself which does tend to happen). Now only if Nix Socks could create a sock magnet or something so that when she does take them off, I'm not running around looking for the other one.

You can find more about Nix Socks by visiting their website www.nixbaby.com, right now they have a limited time offer of FREE SHIPPING within the US and Canada with your order.

Cute Shoes for Cute Kids

Ok, I admit, I'm like most other women out there, and I just LOVE to do some shoe shopping, not only for myself, but for my girls as well. The cuter the shoes the better. I ran into a little place called Pediped that just has THE MOST adorable shoes ever for children.

Pediped shoes are a rubber-soled and soft-soled footwear for children (both boys and girls) that are not only affordable but stylish as well. My favorite is the new Flex line of rubber-soled shoes that range in size from 6 - 12 (toddlers). Not only are these shoes as cute as can be but they look and feel like they are one of the most comfortable shoes I've every gotten for my daughters. They're great for running around and playing both indoors and out.

In addition to soft, flexible soles, Pediped Flex features shock-absorbing air cushion technology which will protect the heels against impact and distribute the pressure throughout the foot, there’s also an ultra flexible pedi flex-zone which is meant to support the natural food motion and provide maximum flexibility. These shoes also have a built in arch support which will assist in the healthy development of growing feet.

Pediped Flex shoes also come with a unique Flex Fit System. Each pair of shoes comes with a 2mm insole so that you can customize the fit of the shoe for each child. If your child starts out with both insoles being used, as the child feet grow, you can remove the additional insoles to extend the length of time a child can wear the shoes.

We love our Pediped Flex shoes, and I'm sure you will be thrilled with them as well. Check out www.pediped.com and use code hapr08 for free shipping.

Your Baby is Beyond Cute...

They're Uncommonly Cute!!!

Uncommonly Cute carries hip, trendy, and cool clothes for babies and toddlers, boys and girls. Made in New York and inspired by babies everywhere, Uncommonly Cute will show you what a kid should look like by bringing out some individual style into your baby's life and closet.

Why should baby clothes be all cute little animals and Disney characters? Why not show some individuality, show how trendy your baby can be by purchasing something different, something unique, something Uncommonly Cute!

I personally love the newest styles they have available, something that would be worn by my 2 year old and 4 year old girls. Their sizes range from newborn up to a size 6, which is great because I can do all my shopping for some hip new shirts all in one spot!

I really love the "Keepin It Real" and the "Drama Queen" shirts, something my kiddos would wear proudly, and I'm sure would strike up some conversations on our day's out as well. There are so many great styles of tees, onesies and even long sleeved shirts to choose from, choosing just one style at least for me, would be very hard to do.

Great products for a gift for the little one in your life, check out Uncommonly Cute today they have some great sales and new products right now that you really should check out, you know you want your Uncommonly Cute kid to have those cute, hip and fun threads this summer.

Hip Kidswear with Explosive Attitudes!

I just love to find some great kids clothing with just plain funny sayings or graphics on them. Especially when they're telling the truth.

Milkbomb sells the hippest kidswear and has some of the funniest 'slogans' & 'sayings' on their shirts for boys and girls, infants and children.

Milkbomb was created by parents who wanted to show their son's individuality. They were sick of trying to keep him in all the other clothing designs that have been around forever. So began the journey of Milkbomb. Dad (Steve) started creating designs and printing them in their home and eventually launched milkbomb.com so he could share his designs with others.

Dad's main goal with Milkbomb is to make hip, mischievous, and thoughtful designs that he'd be proud to have his son, or even himself wear. I think Steve accomplished this goal with their great, fun and witty shirts.

We were lucky enough to get a shirt of our very own for one of my daughters and I get a kick out of it, so have many strangers that have seen the shirt while we're out and about. I'm always glad to tell them where they can find their own for their little one.

Visit Milkbomb check out their snapsuits and shirts and find one that's perfect for your little one's budding personality.

Snot Your Average Wipe

Recently I found the most amazing product. Boogie Wipes. At first I wondered just how different these would be from using regular baby wipes to wipe up those icky noses, I wondered if I'd ever get to really try them out truthfully as the girls are usually pretty healthy this time of year.

BAM! A cold hits the house. Aria, my youngest, refuses to let you wipe her nose with anything, baby wipes, tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, forget it she runs and hides and screams and refuses to let you touch her icky runny nose.

Our Boogie Wipes came just in time for this crisis. Now, what makes Boogie Wipes different from just regular wipes? Boogie Wipes are thicker (I found) than regular wipes, yet they are so soft and gentle on little noses, they also have saline added to them to give relief of stuck on 'boogies' running from those noses. They're also hypoallergenic, free of alcohol and has added chamomile, vitamin E and aloe to be able to keep little noses moisturized with all the wiping that goes on.

I think we hit the jackpot in discovering something that works great and that the girls will work with when it comes to colds and wiping their noses effectively. Boogie Wipes can be ordered online for $3.99 and right now you can get FREE SHIPPING on all U.S orders until June 1st using the code: Boogies B Gone when ordering.

Sound Asleep with Sweet Dreams

Go to sleep, close your eyes.......Sweet Dreams.....The sounds of silence and small little breaths are a great sight and sound to parents of little ones.

SoundSleep is a great CD for parents to get those babies to sleep. SoundSleep uses actual recordings from the womb to emulate the sound babies have experienced and heard during their first 9 months of life. SoundSleep then layers it with a unique ambient audio soundtrack that is composed and produced by top-level music industry experts that provide relaxation, not only to your baby but to the parents as well.

SoundSleep is different than lullaby's as it is scientifically made with a blend of digitally recorded sounds from the womb including a mother's heartbeat; and combining that with a low frequency ambient soundtrack that's 60 minutes long, your baby will be instantly soothed from their restlessness or crying, they'll feel a sense of calmness and safety which will help them fall asleep and stay asleep through the night.

When listening to the SoundSleep for Babies CD you'll find a mixture of hearing a mother's heartbeat, different sounds that would be heard inside the womb, a soft singing voice from a mother, soft breathing from a mother and a soft and carefully constructed musical soundtrack.

This has to be one of the greatest CD's you will ever listen to for relaxation for your child, the CD was tested and researched and has proven to show results to provide sleep and relaxation help for babies.

The SoundSleep CD isn't just for babies tho, the CD is a great aid and relaxation tool for all ages. I played the SoundSleep CD for my children the other night and all I heard was silence and found them asleep within minutes.

Try the SoundSleep CD for your newborns, infants, toddlers and children, maybe even try it for yourself, the sounds are so relaxing and soothing that it will be sure to give you a SoundSleep as well.

The SoundSleep CD can be found at www.barebabies.com and A Wrestling Addicted Mommy's Blog readers can use discount code: laam20offss to receive 20% discount from barebabies.com on SoundSleep orders.
