Bring spring into your wardrobe...

I’d love to say that spring is finally here, but unfortunately those of us living in North West Ohio know all too well that it’s not. Today even, the temperatures dropped and we’ve gotten snow. Thankfully it didn’t stick, but it still gives you the winter blues. Spring can come any day now; I’m so ready for it.

Already getting a step ahead on the spring cleaning, I’ve got to get the girls spring wardrobe into spring mode as well. The bright colors, the soft fabric and the oh so girly outfits that just scream spring is here! I can’t wait to get them all dressed up and colorfully happy!

Hopscotch Designs is the perfect place to get those super cute spring dresses for your little princesses, or some oh so cute spring in your step outfits for your little princes as well. One of my favorite designs is the Sophie Dress that they carry, the design is so adorable and lightweight, and the colors just burst out once they’re on. I have to say that the pictures on the website don’t do these dresses justice. When I got my Sophie Dress for Lyric, it was so bold and bright with color she couldn’t wait to get it on.

The ruffled sleeves, squared neckline and including a tie that cinches in the back, the Sophie Dress is Hopscotch Designs playful version of a 1940’s apron. But this dress is anything but 1940’s in style, it fits perfectly into 2009 as well. Be it a dress for a family outing or just something to run around in outside, the dress is perfect for either occasion, and by far, one of my favorites now in my daughters clothing collection.

Hopscotch Designs would like to offer my readers a 20% off discount on any orders of $50 or more. When checking out, use the code wrest727 for your 20% off. Offer is valid through April 27, 2009. Visit www.hopscotchdesigns.com for more information on their great clothing lines.

On the Second Day of Christmas

On the second day of Christmas A Wrestling Addicted Mommy gave to me......A $25 gift certificate for some cute tee's...

Cuteness is a factor in a lot of my girls clothing, and when I saw a great shop called Olive Dimpleton's cuteness is what I found!

Founded by three mom's, Olive Dimpleton's strives to give you the cutest and freshest fun and funky designs just for your children. You'll find the cutest and the most unique items for your child or someone else's, who wants to look just like everyone else? I know I don't, neither do my girls, and thats why we just LOVE Olive Dimpleton's.

We got the cutest shirts for the girls. Aria sports her Mama Organic T-shirt around so much, the cute tattoo design with the cherry print “that's my mama” fabric and even a matching sweet pea kiddie bag to go with it, she just looks adorable!

Lyric's tee was made just for her, Olive Dimpleton's couldn't have found the better t-shirt for my 5 year old. The Diva Organic T-shirt with the “don't be silly jelly” fabric and of course another matching bag, she looked like the true diva she is.

There are so many other cute designs from them you don't know where to start with your purchase, designs like Grabby, and Not a Buoy are just a few of my favorites. What I love about Olive Dimpleton's is not just the designs they offer, but the fact that I can get a matching bag or hat to go along with it, and I can pick the outlining fabric as well. So much customization to make your item even cuter than it already is. Speaking of customization, you can also get personalized items from Olive Dimpleton's as well.

All of their clothing is made in the USA and in sweatshop-free environments, as well as their tee's being certified organic and and sewn. You're sure to get a one of a kind item with the quality, uniqueness and cuteness that you want on your child.

Visit Olive Dimpleton's to get one of those great unique Christmas gifts for that child who has everything.

Dress for your imagination...

Imagination is a great quality about our children. They seem to have so much of it and it’s great to let all of that imagination out, it’s a quality that somehow slips away as we become adults sometimes.

Fliggity is trying to keep that imagination alive by offering “clothing inspired by a child’s imagination” and that is exactly what they’re doing. With such great items such as shirts that fliggity fly which enable your kids to fly to their wildest imaginations, or the stylish superhero’s shirts which bring out the superhero inside of them you can see how Fliggity is gaining popularity.

We received the How Old Am I shirt in the candyland pattern as Lyric is turning the big 5 years at the end of the month, I thought she would be thrilled with this shirt. Which she was, she can’t wait to sport it on her birthday for everyone to see and happily announce that she’s 5 years old. The quality of the shirt is great, no loose stitching and it’s nice comfortable material that will last through washes and her rough play.

If you’re ever looking for that gift for a child and you really don’t know what they would enjoy, there’s no need to go elsewhere. Fliggity has something any child would enjoy. Visit www.fliggity.com and check out all four of their great categories to find the perfect gift for your child or someone else’s.

Win your favorite item from Fliggity…
That’s right, you can have a chance right her to enter to win your favorite item from Fliggity. All you have to do is head to their website and let me know which item you would choose if you won, it’s that simple!!!

This giveaway is open to those with a US mailing address ONLY!!! And is open to non bloggers, PLEASE just remember if your blog profile is private, or you’re a non blogger, leave an email address or your entry will be disqualified....Winner will be chosen via random.org

In all honesty...

In reality, yea my kids are like a lot of others, either honest when they shouldn’t be, or not honest when they should be. Sometimes though, its fun to let those little imperfections shine and be honest about them, no one is perfect so why lie about it! Honestbaby reminds us all about those little imperfections that our kids might have and even share with others. They remind us that there is no perfect parent!

Honestbaby was founded by a mom who was just frustrated by the pressures of being the perfect parent, so she decided to let it out publically and sell some really great tee’s for kids and babies with funny sayings on them, sayings that remind us all to laugh and accept the imperfections, because we all have them.

My favorite shirt that I have for my youngest is “Sharing is overrated”. Now who would be one to announce to another parent, my child doesn’t like to share and be proud of it? Well, now you can be (sort of) and get the little chuckles with it at the same time, while having your child look super cute in a t-shirt.

Visit honestbaby.com for more ‘witty’ tee’s that will make you chuckle at the little imperfections your child may share. Join in on ‘Celebrating the imperfect journey of parenting’, and have an honest baby yourself.

An Eco-Friendly Alphabet

Kids, my girls especially, love animals and what a great way to incorporate their love of animals and their love of learning new words than with a great tee and at the same time, they can be eco-friendly and as parents we can know we're just doing a little bit more to save our planet earth.

bioMe5 is an eco-friendly company who makes children's products. Their very popular Alphabet
T-shirt line brings the beauty of nature and the learning experience of animals to children both at the same time just through a simple tee. bioMe5 was founded by two architectural designers who wished to bring that beauty and love of animals to children who could appreciate the world around them.

The great things about these products from bioMe5 is that not only does it teach children about nature and animals, but it also encourages spelling and reading at the same time. For instance, my daughter's tee has a cute picture of a monkey on it, with the letter M right side up, but the word 'monkey' is spelled upside down to allow her to read the word when she looks down at the tee, it makes her so proud and more like a 'big girl' that she can do this by herself now.

bioMe5 not only carries tee's for toddlers and children (tee's come in sizes 2-6T both short and long sleeved), they also carry very cute onesies which are modeled after the same shirts for older kids (onesies come in size 3-12mths). All their items are 100% certified, undyed/unbleached organic cotton and are made in sweatshop free facilities. Items are tagless and preshrunk, the packaging for the products are also packaged using biodegradable bags that will degrade in as little as nine months.

You might think that bioMe5 is a very odd name for a line of children's clothing, some of us are just not aware of the meaning of bioMe5. Biomes are organisms which have adapted to a particular environment, think the dessert or grasslands, forests, tundra and aquatics. The 5 is used as a representation of these five natural biomes.

The animal alphabet shirts are a great gift for your own child or someone else's. You can match the letter with their name, or just start with their favorite animal, any child would be thrilled with their own Animal Alphabet biome5 shirt, I know mine just love theirs.

Be sure to visit www.biome5.com to learn more about their eco-friendly products and purchase your Animal Alphabet shirt today.

Old School Socks for a New School Kid

I ran across this site a while ago, Nix Baby has one of the most simplistic items of clothing we put on our kids, but they're cute! I love the old school sports socks and to be able to have a size for one of my girls, is just too adorable not to want them.

Nix Socks were created by a mom who was just sick of constantly loosing one sock and only finding the other on her child. After looking for some of the really cute old school tube socks for babies, and coming up empty handed, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Nix Baby was created with boys and girls in mind, not only to have some really cute sock that can be worn with almost anything, but to make sure they stay on those little feet as well. The socks are sold in pairs of two and are “one size fits all” which fits shoe sizes 2-7.

Aria just loves her Nix Socks, she thinks they're 'pretty' and I can say that they have in fact stayed on her feet (unless she has willingly taken them off herself which does tend to happen). Now only if Nix Socks could create a sock magnet or something so that when she does take them off, I'm not running around looking for the other one.

You can find more about Nix Socks by visiting their website www.nixbaby.com, right now they have a limited time offer of FREE SHIPPING within the US and Canada with your order.

Your Baby is Beyond Cute...

They're Uncommonly Cute!!!

Uncommonly Cute carries hip, trendy, and cool clothes for babies and toddlers, boys and girls. Made in New York and inspired by babies everywhere, Uncommonly Cute will show you what a kid should look like by bringing out some individual style into your baby's life and closet.

Why should baby clothes be all cute little animals and Disney characters? Why not show some individuality, show how trendy your baby can be by purchasing something different, something unique, something Uncommonly Cute!

I personally love the newest styles they have available, something that would be worn by my 2 year old and 4 year old girls. Their sizes range from newborn up to a size 6, which is great because I can do all my shopping for some hip new shirts all in one spot!

I really love the "Keepin It Real" and the "Drama Queen" shirts, something my kiddos would wear proudly, and I'm sure would strike up some conversations on our day's out as well. There are so many great styles of tees, onesies and even long sleeved shirts to choose from, choosing just one style at least for me, would be very hard to do.

Great products for a gift for the little one in your life, check out Uncommonly Cute today they have some great sales and new products right now that you really should check out, you know you want your Uncommonly Cute kid to have those cute, hip and fun threads this summer.
