R.I.P Grandpa

SPANGENBERGER, Henry (Hank) Peacefully at Wentworth Heights Nursing Home, on Friday, June 26, 2009, in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife Betty. Loving father to Harry (Pam) and daughter Mary (Don). Sadly missed by his loving grandchildren Jennifer (Derek), Eric (Tara), Gina (Rodney) and Anthony. Also mourned by his great-grandchildren Jessica, Ben, Lyric and Aria. According to his wishes Cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the staff of Wentworth Heights Nursing Home and St. Peter's Hospital for their compassionate care.

It's with great sadness that I have to tell you guys that my Grandfather has passed away. While I'm lucky that I could spend the last week of his life with him, it's something I'd never want to experience again. Having to watch a loved one lifeless and struggling to survive is probably an image I'll never get out of my head again. To watch someone die, isn't something I'd want to wish upon anyone, it's heartbreaking.

I'm glad that my girls got to say goodbye, and I'm glad he was able to communicate if only for 1 day, 1 time with myself and my oldest even if it was just with the movement of his eyes. I'll miss my Grandfather so much and I hope it's a long long time before either of the girls have to experience such a loss of another loved one in our lives.

R.I.P. Grandpa! We miss you and love you.

Please excuse my absence once again.

As some of you may have heard from twitter or via facebook, my Grandfather is very sick right now. He's struggled with Alzheimer's for years now and has been in a nursing home for the majority of my children's lives.

Last week I got a phone call from my Mom letting me know that he wasn't doing so good. He's now got pneumonia and they don't think he's going to last much longer. Our plan was to head up to this weekend coming up since hubby had a 3 day weekend but plans changed. Mom didn't think that he was going to make it that much longer, so I packed up myself and the girls and we headed up to Canada yesterday.

I got a chance to go by the nursing home to visit before we hit my Mom's house and I just feel so sad about the entire thing. He's not responding much anymore, not speaking, he's just lying there as a vegetable. They no longer have him on medication for the pneumonia, they just have him on some morphine and oxygen to keep him comfortable as we wait.

My biggest issue, and they say this is the most humane way to do this, is that they're not feeding him. No nourishment whatsoever! He can't swallow, I know this, but they're not feeding him through a feeding tube or IV or anything, just keep pumping morphine in him so he's not hungry. As my mom said, she feels like she's committing murder and I agree. It's just frustrating to watch him in so much pain.

My oldest daughter hasn't seen him since she was just a little over a year old, she talked to him for a while, drew him a picture and had some 'sadness' in her eyes as she said "I'm going to miss my Great Grandpa when he dies". How do you respond to that? She just hugged my mom. I feel so helpless. Mom has been staying overnight at the home almost every night and last night she said he's now starting to feel cold to the touch. It's hard to see this happening to both my Grandfather and Mom.

So I'm here till about the 29th of June, please excuse my absence, I brought my laptop but am not sure exactly how much I'll be able to be on and blogging. I thank you in advance for all the thoughts and prayers that have already been said and for those to come.

Including granola to my healthy diet...

I’m trying to get myself and my family into healthier eating habits. That means less of the sugary, high fat, high calorie, so tasty but so bad for you foods are found in my home. I’m really trying to omit them and in place find some healthier foods that we can all still enjoy.

One of my favorite ‘healthy foods’ is granola, I’ve always been a fan, always loved it. My family though, not so much, if they’re eating any granola it’s usually a minor part granola to major parts of candy inside of it. Candy is fine, on the odd occasion but I’d rather there would be less candy and more dried fruit instead.

That’s why MixMyGranola has become my favorite place to get my granola from here on in. With the ability to choose what exactly goes into your MixMyGranola mix you’re bound to make something that’s tasty for just about anyone in your family. You can even name your own mix. My Wrestler’s Delight granola was meant to be on the healthier side and with the large variety of healthy 100% organic ingredients MixMyGranola offer’s it wasn’t a hard thing to do. Although you can still find some treats/candy to add to your granola, I opted to go for some dried fruit to bring that sweetness in instead.

My Wrestler’s Delight canister included: 100% Organic Muesli, Dried Plums, Amaranth Seeds, and Organic Coconut Shreds. The canister contains 8 servings of your custom made granola and also comes with a 100% money back guarantee. Which I’m sure you’ll never need to use. I’ve eaten my granola for breakfast with some non-fat milk and added a few fresh berries, as well as eaten it dry and its YUMMY either way. Even my two girls love the mix I came up with which is unusual since there’s no candy to be found.

I just am in love with the ability to create my own granola mix, it ensures that I can keep things healthy and I know exactly what’s going into my mix without relying on some store bought granola to hopefully have what I need. Go ahead and try it yourself, head over to MixMyGranola.com and see what you can come up with for yourself and your family.

WIN IT!!!

I’m so sure that you’ll fall in love with MixMyGranola I have a $20 Gift Certificate available to one of my lucky readers.

Day 2 and still working up a sweat...

I was so sore from my workout yesterday. I woke up with a sore butt, and extremely sore thighs/hamstrings. I never get that way from my usual workout videos. I love the sore feeling the next day, that’s when you know you did a great workout that actually did something. Although all I did this morning was whine and complain about how sore I was.

I wasn’t completely sure I was actually going to do a workout today with my EAS Active. I could barely walk up the stairs my legs were so sore. I couldn’t miss a day though, I’m doing the 30 day challenge and I can’t wimp out on day 2.

I started up the Wii and away I went. Doing the workout I was surprised at how my body reacted. I could no longer feel the muscle pain that I was in beforehand; my body went right along with the workouts. The sweat poured down my face, I pushed myself no matter how tired or weak my legs felt and I got my workout done.

I again exceeded the calorie burn that EAS Active gave me as a goal and burned another 176 calories during my workout. I can’t boast enough about this new ‘game’. It’s definitely kicking my butt and is a REAL workout. I’m so glad I decided to purchase it.

My workout today was filled with cardio, as well as both upper body and lower body workouts. I got to play tennis, which was fun, I was hoping to see more boxing today but I guess we’ll do that again another day. I’m not a runner, I hate running, but with the EAS Active I’m actually starting to enjoy it. I love the intervals that it gives you instead of just a straight run.

So I sit here dripping sweat, I need to go shower but I wanted to make sure I posted my Day 2 workout before I forgot.

**UPDATE**
Ok after not hurting while I was working out, I have to say, going up and down the stairs is so not fun right now, legs are still sore...LOVE IT!!!

Slammiversary 2009 FREE Pre-Show...

The countdown to TNA Slammiversary begins. This Sunday June 21, at 7:30pm ET live from the Palace at Auburn Hills, Michigan Slammiversary 7 will take place. This is so very close to me, but unfortunately we won’t be in attendance. It would have been the best Father’s Day gift for hubby, but we couldn’t find a sitter in time for us to get decent tickets. While I’d love to be there no matter what, we couldn’t afford the travel packages available and I’m a snob when it comes to where I’m seated for wrestling events. Unless it’s floor seats I don’t want them, so this year we’ll be watching from home and taking part in the millions of other viewers who are ordering the pay per view.

However, for those who can’t get the pay per view and still want in on some of the action, there’s going to be a special Slammiversary Countdown 2009 pre-show that you can view. This will air on all cable and satellite systems carrying the Slammiversary 2009 pay per view. Thanks to MyContent.com you can also view this amazing pre-show for free online at mycontent.com/TNA.

Slammiversary will be celebrating its seventh anniversary this year highlighted by two “King of the Mountain” matches. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mick Foley will defend his title against Kurt Angle, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe and TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett, while X Division Champion Suicide will battle both members of Lethal Consequences and Motor City Machineguns.

“TNA Slammiversary 2009” is available on a pay-per-view basis at a SRP of $29.95 through InDemand, DIRECTV, Dish Network, AT&T, Verizon, Viewer’s Choice Canada, Sasktel, Bell TV and Shaw TV. Check with your local cable or satellite provider for availability.

Day 1 of my 30 day challenge.

Well, I did it. Hubby went out yesterday and finally purchased the EA Sports Active for Wii.

This morning I got up, and was ready for a great workout. Normally at least 5 days a week I’ve been doing either a 2 mile or 5K walk at home with my Walk At Home videos. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, I hope to continue to do them, but I need variation. I tend to get super bored with the same workouts and right now, I haven’t noticed any significant weight loss so it’s time for a change.

Day 1 of my 30 day challenge was a workout and a half. I ended up burning over 170 calories within my first day at the medium workout and I am feeling my muscles that have worked like they never have before, or at least not in a long time. I’m sore, and that’s GREAT! The workout gave me a great sweat and it was fun at the same time.

I did have a few issues with the controls and them recognizing but that was quickly resolved by tweaking the way I was holding the controls a few times. I can’t wait to get to day 2 and finishing the 30 day challenge. Hopefully I’ll see some sort of results here on in. I’ll be updating each day on my blog about my workout for the day and any progress I’ve noticed as well.

If you haven’t purchased EA Sports Active yet and are considering it, I say go for it! In my opinion it’s MUCH better than the Wii Fit (which you can include the balance board in your EA Sports Active workouts as well) and gives you that actual workout most of us were looking for when we initially purchased the Wii Fit.

Get off your butt and get to a healthier you, join me in my 30 day challenge!

Slacker's Proud of their Grads...

As a BlackBerry owner one of my favorite applications on my phone is my Slacker Internet Radio application, listening to music on the go, right on my phone!

Have a new graduate in your household? Slacker Radio is so proud of all the 2009 Graduates they've now launched a Slacker's Graduation Party Station for all of the newly graduated students.

Now what is Slacker you ask? Slacker is an internet radio service that allows users to create their own customized music stations starting with Slacker’s preset stations or their own custom built station. Slacker offers many traditional genre, specialty and artist stations pre-made by professional DJs like “Today’s Hits”, “80’s, 90’s and Today”, “Country”, and my favorite “Hip Hop/R&B” plus many more.

Slacker provides great music while also letting their users build entire stations of specific artists just by typing their name. Users can also continue to evolve any of these stations by rating favorite songs and banning artist or songs. You can also fine tune stations to play older or new music, more hits or more eclectic music all through the intuitive interface at Slacker.com

Slacker has 4x the music library as the leading competition and is available via the web, the Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player, BlackBerry, iPhone, Sony BRAVIA TVs, etc. Slacker is probably by far the most used application on my BlackBerry and also one of the first applications I acquired.

You can find out more about Slacker by visiting their website at Slacker.com

WIN IT!!!

Slacker would love to give one of my lucky readers a 1 year subscription to Slacker Radio Plus. Slacker Radio Plus includes Unlimited Skips, Unlimited Song Requests, No Audio or Banner Ads, Complete Lyrics, and Over 2 Million Songs.

Premium Chocolate Truffles that are good for you...

I am a chocoholic through and through. Give me some chocolate and I’m in heaven! My recent weight loss and diet program however isn’t the most ‘chocolate friendly’ plan.

When I was introduced to Celebrate Life Nutrition and their new Celebrate Chocolate Truffles I perked up and started imagining chocolate in my diet!

Celebrate Truffles are 100% natural chocolates that are created to help cut those nasty cravings as well as satisfy your hunger. Sounds too good to be true? I thought so too but I’m willing to try anything at least once, especially if it involves chocolate!

Celebrate Chocolate Truffles contain cocoa, three natural oils (avocado, macadamia nut, and hemp seed) and are loaded with healthy Omega 3 oils. To experience the chocolates correctly the instructions say to savor 1 – 2 pieces 20 minutes before each meal. I tried my first piece and I do have to say they are amazing! Definitely satisfied any chocolate craving that I had, as far as suppressing my appetite, I honestly didn’t notice any of that going on, the chocolate was so yummy that I actually wanted more! Perhaps after using these for an extended period of time they might start to satisfy my hunger, but none the less they were really good.

Celebrate Chocolate offers Premium Hand-Made Chocolates and also claim to do the following:

• Satisfy your hunger
• Cut your cravings
• Maximize your nutrition (Concentrated nutrients from 59 whole foods)
• Increase your Omega 3/DHA
• Boost your antioxidants
• Naturalize your beauty -
• Enjoy Low Glycemic Chocolate
• Delightfully 100% All Natural

Celebrate Chocolate Truffles has a lot of claims to their chocolate, the only real claim I can approve of myself is that they are DELICIOUS! You can find out more about Celebrate Truffles or even purchase them by visiting their website at www.celebratelifenutrition.com.

WIN IT!!!

One lucky reader will get a chance to experience these Celebrate Truffles with 2 mini boxes. To enter all you have to do is head over to the Celebrate Truffles website and take a look around, then come back here and tell me something about a product they sell that you find interesting.

Take a Hint!

It’s not surprising to me that 42% of women do not receive fresh flowers as often as they’d want to. I’m one of those 42% of women. I think in the 7 years that we’ve been married I can count on one hand alone how many times I’ve received any sort of flowers from my husband.

Well now, I have a little thing that might help change that, god forbid he actually got the hint. The California Cut Flowers Commission has come up with a really cute and interesting idea that lets you drop the hint without your voice. The hint cards are really sort of cute and allow you to give your significant other the hint that you’d love some flowers without outright telling them ‘hey you never get me flowers’. I thought the idea was genius, my husband however not so much.

When asked what he thought about the idea, he said he wouldn’t get me flowers based on a little card I left somewhere as a hint. He said if he got me flowers it would be because he wanted to, not because I wanted them. Typical man! I actually decided to try them out and simply placed one near his shaving kit so it would be the first thing he saw in the morning. Well apparently he either didn’t see it or simply ignored it because I got no flowers, and it wasn’t moved from the place I put it.

You might have a little more success than I did with the hint cards, if your husband is the romantic lovey dovey type of guy these might work great, but if you have a hot headed stubborn man like I do, you might need to put some more work into it.

I do have to say though the flowers I got from the company FloralAmbiance.com were beautiful and I’d love to get more on a regular basis, but as we can see, that probably won’t happen for me anytime soon. So I’ll bask in the freshness and beautiful aroma from the flowers that I did get instead of whining about the hint cards not working so well.

Take your chance at winning a free bouquet once a month for an entire year by filling out this survey.

WIN IT!!!

I’ve got a great giveaway for twenty-five (25) lucky readers!! That’s right, 25 readers will win a set of 6 Hint Cards so you can leave the hint for your significant other (and hopefully have more luck than I do).

All you need to do to enter is tell me who you would leave the hint card for and where you would leave it.

Want extra entries? Check out the many ways below to be entered additional times, remember when doing the extra entries you must leave a separate comment for each extra entry and they will be verified.

Your vaginal muscles need a workout too...

**Disclaimer: Some images and content may not be appropriate for younger viewers. This post is for Adults 18 years of age and older and may not be safe for work viewing**

It’s no surprise that one of my favorite makers of adult toys is Fun
Factory, I’ve blogged about some of their fantastic sex toys before and will continue I’m sure to blog about them in the future.

One of the latest additions to my collection is the Teneo Uno. The Teneo Uno isn’t one of your typical adult toys; in fact this product would be a great for any woman or especially a new mom with a dropped/tilted uterus or incontinence issues. If you’ve ever heard of Smartballs the Teneo Uno is just another variation of them with a few improvements including a string on the end (similar to a tampon string) which makes retrieval of the Teneo Uno easier and less scary.

Made out of silicone the Teneo Uno is easy to clean with just soap and water or a specific toy cleaner, but easier and more fun than just doing kegels on their own to increase your vaginal muscle strength, unlike doing kegels alone, using the Teneo Uno gives you the extra sensation to make your workout a little more enjoyable.

Unlike some other Smartballs or Ben-Wa Balls the Teneo Uno has a retrieval string which helped me to not worry about using them at all, although I do find the string to be a little thick it is a comfort having it available. I know in the past I’ve been a bit weary of using such things for the fear of getting them out, but that fear is put aside with the Teneo Uno. They’re also very easy to insert with the feature of a finger-hollow area, you simply insert your finger and push it inside with ease.

The Teneo Uno is light weight so you barely notice it’s there except for the weighted balls inside. This is what gives you the great sensation with every move you make. Now ladies don’t worry, you won’t be a walking orgasm, the Teneo Uno simply gives you a slight sensation as you wear them throughout the day, I wouldn’t call it an orgasm outright but it’s a nice feeling. It also might give you a little bit of a sexy vibe to yourself, knowing what you’re walking around with, and my husband definitely gets a kick out of me wearing them, when I do tell him. It’s almost an immediate turn on of sorts.

Personally I don’t normally use lubricant on a regular basis anyways and again didn’t need to use it when inserting the Teneo Uno they were small enough not to pose any sort of issues. I would highly recommend using the Teneo Uno if you’re a beginner to Smartballs like myself or are in need of a little help with your vaginal muscles. Although my husband couldn’t really tell a difference, I’m sure the Teneo Uno with regular use can only enhance doing regular kegals alone.

For more information on the Teneo Uno or to check out other great toys sent discreetly to you visit edenfantasys.com.

Look Good...Feel Better

In this day and age almost everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer in one way or another be it with friends or family or even an acquaintance. It takes a toll not only on those with the disease but to those around them as well.

Helping those fighting with the disease to feel at ease with themselves is not always an easy task, but now there’s a great free program trying to help those with appearance related concerns that cancer treatment often gives. Look Good…Feel Better is using cancer survivors to help women who are currently undergoing treatment for cancer by inspiring them along the journey.

This is the 20th anniversary of Look Good…Feel Better and they’re asking for women who are cancer survivors for their help by educating others and submitting their stories of how the program helped them cope with cancer. All entries will be featured on the Women of Hope is Beautiful blog. Anyone can visit the site to view entries, make comments and show their support.
Look Good…Feel Better will choose five women in August with the most-compelling stories to receive a trip to New York City for a makeover and a trip to the DreamBall, a black-tie gala and the program’s largest annual fundraiser, held each year in New York City.

If you’re a cancer survivor or know of anyone who is, inspire someone who’s going through the same thing right now and submit your story for a chance to win in two ways.

They're BACK!!

If you haven't already heard one of those big box electronics companies are BACK! That's right, Circuit City has come back from the dead!

If you remember, I think it was just after Christmas most of the Circuit City stores all went under and disappeared from our lives. It's a sad day when we only have really 1 big box electronics retailer to go to now when trying to shop. However Circuit City has come back to life by resurecting their website. You can now shop there once again but now only online.

I've seen the site and browsed a bit, there were a few great deals to be found, that was until the shipping price was factored in, by then, it just wasn't worth my time unfortunately. If Circuit City wants to stay competitive, I think they really need to take another look at shipping prices to their consumers.

Ginch Gonch Winner Announced...

So now that you all have seen my underwear (thankfully on someone in much better shape than myself) you know I'm pretty comfortable with talking about various things on my blog. I've got some great reviews coming up, some for everyone and some that are more on the 'adult' side of things, so keep an eye open, next week I should be back to blogging full force although I'm not sure many people noticed I've been gone or even cared.

One of the things I've been doing at night to relax a bit after working on the stress ball of a house is going back and reading my Twilight books, AGAIN! I can't put them down either, the second time around is still as good as the first!

You don't want to hear about my little obsession with something other than wrestling though so I'll get on to the winner of the $50 Ginch Gonch Gift Certificate giveaway. The winner is.....

We're coming along..

I'm happy to say that my house is coming alone. Slowly but surly that is. The contractors are officially done their work and I signed off on the papers yesterday, everything looks great! Well, except for the dust that's still on everything and in everything. I have a few more cupboards and dishes to clean in the kitchen, and the windows are still caked in dust even though I've washed them twice already. The kitchen floor and tables still need to be cleaned and then it's to fully clean the bathroom.

It amazes me where I'm finding all this construction dust in the house, places they weren't even working in, and the windows are becoming one of the biggest pains, they've been washed yet you couldn't tell by looking at them, I'm afraid to see how many times I'm going to have to clean them to get all this caked on stuff off.

Anyways, once my house is back in order I'll be sure to show you the before and after pics from our digital cameras, in one way I'm kind of happy the flood happened, I love the way both rooms look but on the other hand, being away for so long and not having my house the way I want it while I am here is a big pain!

I'm Back!

Well, I've made it back to Ohio. Our trip to Canada was great, I had so much fun while I was there, it does make me really miss home and want to move back, but alas real life kicks back into gear once I hit the boarder and I realize where my life is right now.

I was hoping to jump right back into my blogging as soon as I got back, but this blog looks like it will be all i'm able to do right now. Our house is still a construction zone! There's some unfinished things I noticed when I got back so we had to call the contractors again and are waiting on them to return to put up some more trim, fix the exposed nails on the staircase and plug up the nice hole in my cabinet's ceiling. It was nice to think that they were done until I started cleaning up their mess and noticed these few 'unfinished' things.

The house is a wreck, dust EVERYWHERE, I've been cleaning non-stop inside cabinets, cleaning all the unopened packages of food in the pantry, everything else opened had to be thrown out. Everything we own that was in the kitchen while all this was going on, needs to be cleaned. There's dust all over the house as well, so room by room I clean all day long.

We had a little house guest this morning as you may have seen on my Twitter or Facebook. Hubby found a BAT this morning before he left for work. I'm still a bit freaked out and worried that we'll find another one or something. Although kinda cute, I do not want a bat in my home!

So bare with me, I know the blog sucks right now, I've missed wrestling a lot too which I'm not happy about, but I gotta get this house back in order before we leave again (only for a weekend) in July or else it's never going to get done. You may see some random interesting posts pop about when I have time, posts about the work, posts about products, random posts about nothing like Mesothelioma cancer, if there's a deadline it's gonna be posted as best as I can do for now.

You'll see me here and there, probably starting more so next week. To clean I must go now, it seems like there's a never ending pile of dust!

Tweeting your personal views...

My political views are defiantly not the same as some people; my religious views are much different as well. Most of my life views are going to vary from other people on this planet. Although this is a personal site, this is my personal blog, because I do tend to have some sort of professional relationships with readers and sponsors alike, I choose for the most part not to push, or post a lot of views on where I stand, especially when it comes to politics or religion or anything that could in fact upset and/or offend anyone.

Although this is my personal blog, I could choose to speak my mind on some debatable issues but I don’t want my blog to be about that. Using my own personal Twitter account I choose not to get into heated topics or debate or especially send out political messages via my Twitter account. My Twitter account is linked to my blog, my Twitter account is heavily associated with A Wrestling Addicted Mommy therefore anything spoken about on my twitter is going to have a direct effect to my ‘brand’ so to speak.

People on Twitter need to realize this. I ran across Joey Styles (Former WWE ECW Announcer) Twitter account today (@wwejoeystyles) with him doing nothing but bashing President Obama and those quote “misled Americans who voted for him”. I realize not everyone likes President Obama or the things he’s doing in office, we went through the same thing with President Bush, who I myself disliked VERY much. Although I am an Obama supporter and am happy with most of the things he’s doing in office, I do realize there’s always going to be haters, and everyone has the opportunity to speak their minds about it, freedom of speech right?

Well, does this stand true when you have a Twitter account solely used to promote the company you work for? Joey Styles has a Twitter account that is made with full WWE support, logos and links to the company he works for. I know Joey Styles is one person, but when you’re signed up with an account that is not your own personal account but rather an account aimed to inform fans on the on goings of WWE, an account used to promote the WWE Brand and Company should you be spewing off your personal political views/beliefs to the fans around the Twitterverse who follow you solely on the main reason because of who you are within a company? What if it wasn't WWE and what if it was your local life insurance company or representative on the company twitter account voicing their personal ideals and beliefs?

I’m slightly disturbed at the fact that WWE would allow Joey Styles to venture off into his personal political views via his WWE Twitter account as he represents their company to the thousands of fans on Twitter. Does WWE realize they’re now associated with Joey Styles political views therefore loosing countless WWE fans who are now unfollowing @wwejoeystyles? Do they not realize the consequences this could cause them as a company? It’s not like Joey Styles is a wrestling character or persona who’s looking to be a heel and get the fans to hate his persona, he’s a former announcer, he’s now only a Director of Digital Media Content for WWE.com, he’s not one of the entertainers we watch weekly and love to hate.

So what do you think? When your twitter account is linked to your company or representing a company when your twitter account has the company’s name in your twitter username should you be voicing your personal beliefs on t hat account? Should @wwejoeystyles have another more personal account not associated with WWE if he’d like to ‘tweet’ about such things?

Comparision shop before hand...

My hubby is a certified cell geek. Ask him about any cell phone or provider and he’s got the scoop on them. It’s never a mystery to what phone he’ll get next because he’s always on the up and up and wants to get the very best, the very latest. I can’t tell you the amount of times we’ve switched out our phones for new ones.

Mobile phones are so much more than phones these days. It’s almost a necessity now, but also a form of entertainment at the same time. Sometimes it’s even a form of status for some people, showing off their latest ‘gadget’ and all the things it can do, customizing the looks of the phone is a popular thing also. It’s not like you just go to the store, grab a new phone and that’s it there’s a ton of customization that goes along with it, from a new skin, new ringtone and new case, there’s limitless possibilities when it comes to making your phone your own.

Customization isn’t the only thing that should be thought about when buying a new phone though, comparisons between phones and checking out the specs is one of the most important things, you want a phone that’s going to do everything you need it to do without disappointment.

When you’re thinking of buying a new phone be sure to shop around online, there’s many places where you can to side by side comparisons. You can easily take the newest Nokia phones and compare them to a new device like the LG Viewty Smart and see how they each compare to each other and which phones have all the specs that you need. From memory to ringtones and even the specs on the camera in each phone you can get all the specs you need without even walking into a store to view the phones first, this will save you a lot of time and frustration and is something me and my hubby do a lot when we’re thinking of a new phone.

Specs are important today, with technology being all in one little device that we rely on, you want to compare and know what you’re getting before you purchase, you can’t always rely on the sales person to give you ever spec the phone has, unless they’re a certified cell geek like my hubby most times they don’t know a whole heck of a lot about the specs on the new phones.

göt2b smooth operator

Some of you may know that I’m an agent with BzzAgent and I get to take part in some pretty cool campaigns to try new products and services. The newest product I got to test out was the göt2b smooth operator smoothing lustre lotion.

My girls have some super curly super frizzy hair and when I was able to try out this new göt2b smooth operator smoothing lustre lotion I was pretty excited, any product that can make their hair softer and sleeker is great in my books.

As we tried the göt2b smooth operator smoothing lustre lotion which can be used on wet or dry hair, we absolutely fell in love. I gave a few sample bottles to friends and family and they’re raving about it too. It’s now a welcome addition to our hair product family in our home and in many other’s I know.

The göt2b smooth operator smoothing lustre lotion comes in a 6.8oz pump dispenser with cute little charms and is for use on all hair types. The fragrance isn’t overwhelming it’s a nice scent that you’d welcome. You simply pump the lotion into your hand and distribute it evenly through your hair and style away.

It;s almost like using weight loss pills for your hair, it takes out the fat (frizz) and leaves you smooth and sleek. I use it along with both my girls and we all have different types of hair, it works great on all of our heads.

göt2b smooth operator smoothing lustre lotion is available in most drug and grocery stores.

Celebrating The Sisterhood of Women...

A while ago I made a post that I gave up my message board after running it for over 4 years. Mommies 'N Babies was so great, I made a tone of great friends, but it was time for me to end my reign of owning a message board.

Some of the great girls came together and formed a new board called The Lily Pad. It's more than just another mommy board, they've created a forum for women, not just mother's. With various forum, great members from around the world, games, contests, giveaways and even an arcade you're bound to find something you love at The Lily Pad.

Registration is free, and this is a woman's only message board. So take the time to hop on over and check out The Lily Pad, you'll have to register and post an intro to get in on the fun but it's well worth the few seconds it takes.

Hope to see you over there!

Let Dad Live Like A Kid This Father's Day...

Why not let Dad ‘live like a kid’ this Father’s Day? Who says that dad’s can’t have fun too? With Ginch Gonch and their super cute line of underwear men (dad’s included) can reminisce back to the days of their colorful fun underoo’s and ‘live like a kid’ once again.

So what is Ginch Gonch you ask? They’re the company that is forming a rebellion against the dull, colorless underwear most of us adults tend to wear. They combine humor and sexuality with funky, fashion-forward designs and have reinvented the underwear industry and is setting the newest trend.

Ginch Gonch believes in their ‘live like a kid’ philosophy and promotes fun, freedom of expression and diversity through their famous catch phrase “Regardless of your inches we cover you in our Ginches!” Their underwear is some of the cutest and sexiest things I’ve come across lately, and I’m not kidding. When my Ginch Gonch package arrived I was so excited to put the Weiner Eaters Night Weiner underwear on my hubby. This 4-way stretch cotton underwear form fits all the way around and also has a pillow tag in the back so there’s no more itching! Made from 95% Cotton and 5% Lycra these are not only super cute, but once hubby had them on, I found them super sexy!

Need to find that perfect Father’s Day gift just for your hubby, don’t pass these by it’s something you can both appreciate!

Although Ginch Gonch carries a wide range and variety of underwear for men, they also carry a women’s line as well. I am just in love with my Fire Trucks Back Draft panties; they’re so comfortable and cute at the same time. It doesn’t just stop there Ginch Gonch carries not only a wide variety of styles for both men and women in underwear but they also carry a cute variety of long johns as well. I received the Multiple Trucks Dumper Dude long johns and just like the underwear the long johns are made with a 4-way stretch cotton that form fits all the way around as well as the pillow tag in the back and made from 95% Cotton and 5% Lycra, these are also super comfortable and great for those cool nights camping this summer!

Ginch Gonch has to be one of my newest favorite companies, I love their philosophy and designs, and it gives you the fun and sexiness at the same time. To check out more of their designs as well as their newly launched Boys & Toys Bikes collection that features daredevil dirt bikers and motocross mayhem for both men and women visit www.ginchgonch.com.

You can also check out their blog and YouTube channel as well for more information and to view their latest styles and collections.

WIN IT!!

Ginch Gonch wants to have you ‘live like a kid’ as well. They’re allowing me to giveaway to one lucky reader a $50 Gift Certificate.

All you have to do for your chance to enter is head over to the Ginch Gonch website then come back and leave me a comment telling me which are your favorite pair of Ginch Gonch underwear or long johns?
