TNA's Road to DESTRUCTION!!!

Wow… what a change!!! If you read my post the other day about TNA’s Epic FAIL you’ll have an idea what I’m talking about.

First of all the TNA Genesis PPV was subpar at best, with a few good matches. The matches aren’t exactly what I want to get into thought. First things first is the appearance of the 4 sided ring. Not happy with it at all. If I wasn’t a dedicated fan and just flipping through the stations, I wouldn’t see any real difference between TNA and WWE right now, the 6-sided ring was what made TNA distinct from other organizations.

Now Hogan and Bischoff I understand you’re old, you don’t do well with change you have no idea how to work in a 6-sided ring, nor do your old ass washed up friends who you’ve decided to hire into TNA. I don’t mind seeing the old guys back, but what about making them MANAGERS or backstage talent and give the ring BACK to the TALENTED younger TNA wrestlers who deserve to be featured and who can work a match. I don’t want to see ‘bitch pac’ wrestle, I don’t want to see the Nasty Boys, I don’t even want to see Scott Hall wrestle again (not that he would anyways lol), heck I don’t’ want to see Hogan or Bischoff on my screen. Hogan, we all know your angle, we saw your kids in the crowd more times than we wanted to see them, we know its all about you and what you can do to make your kids famous, make you money and get your friends involved...

One thing that really got to me was when the fans at the arena actually Booed and voiced their opinions about the matches, and the ring, Hogan and Bischoff basically said SHUT UP it’s here to stay we don’t care what you think about it.

What brought me over to TNA was the uniqueness of the company, I was happy to see WWE wrestlers come over who didn’t get a fair shot in WWE where their talent was WASTED (ie. people like The Pope D’Angelo Dinero). It’s almost like switching teams in sports, your contract is up with one team an you get drafted to another, no different as long as you have the talent come on over. It was also about how well TNA actually LISTENED to wrestling fans, took our suggestions, took advice and took cues from the fans.

However, Hogan and Bischoff are turning TNA into a washed up old version of WCW. I’m sorry that your other ventures and organizations never took off the ground, or that they were just big failures, but TNA was flying high and on the road to greatness, now it’s sliding back down the hill into the trash to be dumped right on top of WCW and any other organization that went down the tubes. I think at this point even roadside assistance would be more of a help to TNA than Hogan!

I’ve been to many a live show in both WWE and TNA. One thing I loved in TNA was the crowd interaction and the LACK of censorship. When I heard how the fans were treated at the iMpact Zone on Sunday I was speechless. Being told what they could and couldn’t say, being scolded like little children because of cussing or the Boo’s and other comments being made. THIS IS NOT WRESTLING!!!! Going to a live event is about getting rowdy, about chanting, about cat-calling that’s why you go to the event rather than sit home and watch it on TV. However, TNA now thinks that no; this is NOT how a wrestling show should be.

Here’s a clip from a fan that was at the iMPACT Zone for a taping the other night, I’ve NEVER seen such a thing go on at any live, taped or TV show for any wrestling event, including WWE.

TNA has since REMOVED the video from YouTube, but I still have a working link I found so you can view the video here: http://www.gimpymoo.com/Videos/cast_members.mp4.

I can say that I’m thoroughly disappointed with TNA and the direction they’re headed right now. I stopped watching WWE because of the garbage they’ve been handing out lately, because of the new ‘family friendly’ PG rating they decided to go to, and now it looks like TNA wants to be another cheap family friendly rip off of WWE. I understand little kids are there, heck I’ve brought my own kids to wrestling shows, but guess what, as a PARENT I understand the language, the situations and the things that are going to go on there, as a PARENT it’s MY decision to bring my child into that environment, don’t worry about what my kids will/won’t hear, that’s my issue as a parent, not yours as an organization! Further more, if fans who attend tapings/live shows are now cast members, then perhaps you should be paying for their wasted time if you want them to act according to your script.

It looks as if Hogan and Bischoff are going to run TNA (right into the ground I might add) then soon A Wrestling Addicted Mommy may be no more, I’ll have to find a new addiction…. Dixie Carter, you have no idea what you've just turned this company into....

Why fix it if it isn't broken?

A great read from NoDQ.com:

"A fan that regularly attends the TNA Impact tapings sent out this message:

Hey guys. I'm one of the hardcore TNA fans who you see regularly on iMPACT! and TNA PPV. You probably recognize me as the guy who wears a shirt and tie to the shows.

I've seen a lot of posts claiming that the biggest thing wrong with TNA right now is us, the loyal fans in the iMPACT! Zone.

I'd like to give you a little perspective on things. There is a group of about 12-20 of us who are at every show we can attend (Collectively known as the "Crucial Crew", which is why you see us throw up the 'c' hand signal). And we DO NOT like the direction this company is going. Therefore, we express our displeasure in hopes that management will listen. Why? Because we LOVE TNA, and will not stand idly by while it gets raped by Hogan and his boys. If we were season ticket holders for a sports team, this would be expected, would it not? "

Win a trip to WrestleMania XXVI....

So since I do have a love for wrestling, I had to post this sweeps I found going on over at Kmart. Now, I have had a little 'tiff' with WWE for over a month now, basically since the last PPV I think, and really I don't miss it, I'm quite pissed off at WWE and their ways so for now, I've just been watching TNA and have been enjoying wrestling A LOT more lately. Put it this way, I'm so sick of the way WWE is doing their shows and the way they're turning that I'd rather go to a Plano cosmetic dentist than watch their program right now.

Anyways, even though I haven't been watching WWE, I'd never pass up a chance to go to WrestleMania, or any live show when it comes to the area. If you've never been to a WrestleMania you don't know what your missing, the biggest show of the year, and a TON of fun. So I just entered the Win A Trip To WrestleMania XXVI Sweepstakes going on at Kmart.com.

We've been fortunate to have been able to be at two past Wrestlemania's, and with Kmart, maybe I'd get a chance to make that three.

Not only can you enter the sweeps, but they also have the schedule of appearances WWE Superstars are doing at local Kmart stores, as well as having live chats on the site as well.

Head on over for your chance to win, and find out when you can see your favorite WWE Superstar at your local Kmart.

WWE rated PG...

I just read a very interesting article written in the Buffalo News today talking about how WWE is rated PG now and is more ‘family friendly’, this isn’t a surprise. Any wrestling fan has seen the new PG type of entertainment, and a lot of wrestling fans (me included) are venturing on to find better things, looking at indy shows and starting to steer clear of WWE programming.

Although I do find myself getting into things like TNA and venturing into ROH a lot more, know I’ll always be a WWE fan, but I can say I don’t watch it nearly as much or pay attention to it as much as I used to. I can’t deal with the ‘family friendly’ way they’ve gone. This is WRESTLING not Nickelodeon, and when I tune in yes, I do want to see vulgar stuff, I do want to see blood, I tune in to see violence and chairs and tables matches… I DO WANT TO SEE ATTITUDE!

One quote in the article that got the majority of my attention was from the chief operating officer of World Wrestling Entertainment, Donna Goldsmith she said:
"It was edgier in the attitude era. There was a little more blood, and then we realized this was not the way to go,"
I’m not sure when or how they realized that this was NOT the way to go, specifically because during the attitude era they had a ton of viewership, more fans and higher ratings than now. Sure I understand the attitude era generation are growing up, we have kids now and families, they’re trying to tune into the next generation of fans, our kids which has worked, my oldest daughter is a huge wrestling fan. BUT!!! Those attitude era fans, are still fans, and we’re the ones with the money, not the kids.

I also really had to laugh at another quote from the COO of World Wrestling Entertainment:
"Today we are PG — definitely family friendly. Our writing teams know the boundaries, and they tell really good stories."
Yet again, is she watching the same programming I've been watching lately? Where are these 'good stores' because I haven't seen any real 'good stores' lately at all, in fact I've seen some pretty crappy, boring ones, or ones that are done over again...and again...and again...

I’m sad that WWE has gone to this PG style of entertainment, it’s not as nearly exciting as it used to be, and it doesn’t get my viewership as much as it used to now either. If I miss a program or PPV oh well, no big deal, not like I missed much anyways and this isn’t just my attitude towards WWE these days either, there are a lot of fans that feel the same way and are sick of the ways WWE is heading.

WWE needs to be there and listen to their fans a lot more, tune into the blogs, the websites and even twitter, see what your ‘universe’ is really saying instead of just allowing 'moderated' comments to go on in your chats, LISTEN to the real fans and maybe those ratings will climb higher than ever, until then the decline is on.

If you want to read the article in it's entirety visit The Buffalo News.

10th Anniversary of WWE Smackdown....

I admit, I haven’t been much of A Wrestling Addicted Mommy this week. After having my wisdom teeth out and pretty much being in pain each night I’ve fallen asleep for each of my wrestling shows this week (except for TNA I always stay awake for that), although last night I made it a point to make sure I stayed awake for the 10th anniversary edition of Smackdown.

I kind of wish I had fallen asleep!

The matches were subpar as usual. And while I'm really glad to have my man Batista back, a match with him and Kane is not where I want to see him go... WWE really needs to start stepping up their game with their matches, I’m sick of seeing the boring no point in anything matches, the same match ups each week, the same feuds.

COME ON! DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND WORTHWHILE!!

I think if anything, WWE showed us fans last night what USED to be good, what we are missing and what WWE needs to strive to be once again.

The highlights for me last night, seeing how YOUNG John Cena was when he first stepped into a WWE ring, wow time has flown. The tribute to Eddie was great, brought tears to my eyes, but my favorite part of the night, seeing one of my favorites of all time. The Rock! Although, I do have to say, if your going to be part of wrestling again in any capacity, even if it’s for a short promo, fans (myself included) would rather see you SHOW UP at the show instead of taping a pre-recorded video far far away from an actual ring, it would mean a lot more! I am excited to hear the news of The Rock hosting a RAW soon though, that’s news I’ve waited for since WWE started doing this (really boring and unnecessary) guest host spots on RAW.

I guess to see some great Smackdown matches any time in the near future I’m either going to have to wait for Edge to show back up, wait that probably won’t help either… WWE to get new staff, writers and some new engaging wrestlers and feuds or just buy the Best of Smackdown DVD to see some really great old feuds and matches. Not even the Pay Per View Hell In A Cell is holding my attention this week, I'm sorry but I think watching 2 hamsters fight in a cage would draw more excitement and blood than this PPV is going to have.

WWE RAW Here I come!

This Wrestling Addicted Mommy is still under the weather, I can’t even speak at the moment, and my jaw is so sore, but I’m beaming with excitement!

I just got myself some WWE Raw Tickets for October 11th at the new arena here in Toledo! Just called up hubby and whispered to him and he’s excited too.

The best part, we’ll have babysitters here already since it’s the same weekend that my parents and BFF are going to be down here for “Canadian Thanksgiving”, so we’re set! Cena, Orton watch out, A Wrestling Addicted Mommy is on your tail and will be stalking you all day long!

I have to give a big shout out to Eventchasers and Razorgator for making this happen. I think next on my list of things to do is find some Mixed Martial Arts tickets which my hubby is really into right now, myself, not so much but he’d love to go to something like that, a little switch from wrestling for once.

Be on the lookout for my coverage of WWE Raw from Toledo soon!

Jeff Hardy Arrested...

Some breaking news just in that TMZ and most wrestling blogs and sites are reporting right now is that of Jeff Hardy being arrested….

Here’s the news from TMZ so far….

Former WWE Champ Busted for Steroids, Pills

Jeff Hardy -- one half of the WWE tag team duo The Hardy Boyz -- was busted today after cops found a boatload of pills and steroids inside his home.

The Moore County Sheriff's office executed a search warrant at Hardy's home in Cameron, NC today -- where they found 262 Vicodin pills, 180 Soma pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids and a residual amount of powder cocaine. Cops say the estimated street value of the drugs: $2,500.

Hardy was arrested on charges of "trafficking in controlled prescription pills" and possession of anabolic steroids.

We're told his brother posted his bail, which was set at $125,000.

I’m honestly saddened by this. Jeff Hardy is by far one of my favorites, and although it’s not new that he’s had drug problems in the past, it’s sad to hear that he had this many drugs in his procession. Now if he was going to sell them to anyone or had is the question. I believe this was his own personal stash, but who knows.

Jeff right now is denying things via his twitter account stating "Alot of exaggerations are out there today, don't believe everything you read 4 it is not true, I am at home and fine-thanks for your concern" and "The media is the media, I wish they would at least report the story correctly & accurately. I will make a statement later." I'll be waiting for his statement.

Until we know the truth I’d like to keep Jeff in my thoughts that he gets the help he needs during this time and am just shaking my head at some of the stupid remarks going out to him via twitter, people should grow up, drug addiction is a big problem and if this is what’s going on, this is a man that should have people behind him right now urging him to do the right thing for HIMSELF and get the help he needs and deserves.

Tweeting your personal views...

My political views are defiantly not the same as some people; my religious views are much different as well. Most of my life views are going to vary from other people on this planet. Although this is a personal site, this is my personal blog, because I do tend to have some sort of professional relationships with readers and sponsors alike, I choose for the most part not to push, or post a lot of views on where I stand, especially when it comes to politics or religion or anything that could in fact upset and/or offend anyone.

Although this is my personal blog, I could choose to speak my mind on some debatable issues but I don’t want my blog to be about that. Using my own personal Twitter account I choose not to get into heated topics or debate or especially send out political messages via my Twitter account. My Twitter account is linked to my blog, my Twitter account is heavily associated with A Wrestling Addicted Mommy therefore anything spoken about on my twitter is going to have a direct effect to my ‘brand’ so to speak.

People on Twitter need to realize this. I ran across Joey Styles (Former WWE ECW Announcer) Twitter account today (@wwejoeystyles) with him doing nothing but bashing President Obama and those quote “misled Americans who voted for him”. I realize not everyone likes President Obama or the things he’s doing in office, we went through the same thing with President Bush, who I myself disliked VERY much. Although I am an Obama supporter and am happy with most of the things he’s doing in office, I do realize there’s always going to be haters, and everyone has the opportunity to speak their minds about it, freedom of speech right?

Well, does this stand true when you have a Twitter account solely used to promote the company you work for? Joey Styles has a Twitter account that is made with full WWE support, logos and links to the company he works for. I know Joey Styles is one person, but when you’re signed up with an account that is not your own personal account but rather an account aimed to inform fans on the on goings of WWE, an account used to promote the WWE Brand and Company should you be spewing off your personal political views/beliefs to the fans around the Twitterverse who follow you solely on the main reason because of who you are within a company? What if it wasn't WWE and what if it was your local life insurance company or representative on the company twitter account voicing their personal ideals and beliefs?

I’m slightly disturbed at the fact that WWE would allow Joey Styles to venture off into his personal political views via his WWE Twitter account as he represents their company to the thousands of fans on Twitter. Does WWE realize they’re now associated with Joey Styles political views therefore loosing countless WWE fans who are now unfollowing @wwejoeystyles? Do they not realize the consequences this could cause them as a company? It’s not like Joey Styles is a wrestling character or persona who’s looking to be a heel and get the fans to hate his persona, he’s a former announcer, he’s now only a Director of Digital Media Content for WWE.com, he’s not one of the entertainers we watch weekly and love to hate.

So what do you think? When your twitter account is linked to your company or representing a company when your twitter account has the company’s name in your twitter username should you be voicing your personal beliefs on t hat account? Should @wwejoeystyles have another more personal account not associated with WWE if he’d like to ‘tweet’ about such things?

Chris Jericho supports childhood heros...

Wrestlemania is fast approaching. One of the biggest nights in sports entertainment will soon be upon us, and I’ll be glued to my TV set the majority of Sunday night. One of my favorite wrestlers, Chris Jericho will be in attendance, but he’s also got a few more things up his sleeves lately as well. Those that don’t know much about WWE Superstar Chris Jericho might not know that he’s also a music enthusiast. He’s lead singer of the band Fozzy, and a big heavy metal fan.

A band named Anvil is one of Chris Jericho’s childhood heroes, and he’s been sharing his love for them, and metal lately by supporting Anvil in a number of appearances. On March 25th Jericho was at in in-store event to show his support of Anvil and the new movie Anvil! The Story of Anvil which was directed by Sacha Gervasil.

You can check out the video clip below:

Chris Jericho also joined Anvil later on as well:

I myself am not a metal fan, I’m not even sure who Anvil is, but I’m a big wrestling fan, and a big fan of Chris Jericho so any chance to see or meet him, I’m game for. Helping promote Anvil: The Story of Anvil, Chris Jericho is scheduled to appear at the movie screening and live performance by Anvil, which is open to the public, so check out dates near you!

Anvil! The Story of Anvil Trailer:

“Anvil! The Story of Anvil” is the directorial debut of screenwriter Sacha Gervasi (“The Terminal”) and follows Steve “Lips” Kudlow and Robb Reiner and their band, Anvil, which released one of the heaviest albums in metal history, 1982’s Metal on Metal. The album influenced an entire musical generation of rock bands, including Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax, who all went on to sell millions of records. Anvil, on the other hand, took a different path—straight to obscurity. The film is both entertaining and touching as it follows their last-ditch quest for the fame and fortune that has been so elusive to them. “Anvil! The Story of Anvil” is a timeless tale of survival and the unadulterated passion it takes to follow your dream, year after year.

“The best documentary I’ve seen in years,” - Michael Moore “Possibly the greatest film yet made about rock and roll” - the London Times

“Anvil! The Story of Anvil” contains appearances by an array of heavy metal icons, including Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, former member of Guns N’ Roses’ Slash, Anthrax’s Scott Ian, and Slayer’s Tom Araya, among others.

Meet your favorite Superstar and Diva

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a WWE event. I guess that’s what happens as you get older, have a family and kids. The girls love coming to wrestling events now, especially Lyric she is another WWE-holic just like her mommy and daddy… Which is great, but can I be honest? I can’t go all FAN GIRL WILD with my kid there, so we don’t get to go to a lot of events. If I know one of her favorite wrestlers will be doing an appearance close to us though, we usually take her so that she can meet them. She’s met so many great wrestlers so far, and I guess she’s a good pawn for me to get to meet some too, who am I kidding?!?!

Those WWE fans that are in California are in for a treat, I wish I could make it out there, but Cali is just a bit far for me. Especially because my hubby’s favorite Diva will be there, and he has yet to meet her.

In support of Wrestlemania 25, the Kmart store in Harvlan Center (5704 East Whittier Blvd.), Commerce, CA is having a special meet and great as well as autograph signing with The Miz and Layla Thursday March 12 between the hours of 6 – 8pm. WWE Superstar The Miz and WWE Diva Layla are coming to a Kmart store near you, this is a chance to get up close and personal, as well as get a great autograph for your collection, and don’t forget your camera’s either.

Starting on March 8th and continuing through April 5, Kmart will have a WWE boutique located at the front of Kmart mainland retail locations which will include the best in WWE licensed product including apparel, toys, DVDs, stationary and gaming accessories. Those customers who purchase $50 of WWE merchandise at Kmart will receive $10 off the Wrestlemania 25 pay-per-view.

Additional information can be found by visiting www.kmart.com/wwe or check out the appearance schedule at www.wwe.com to find out when your favorite superstar or diva will be in your area.

WWE Released Elijah

How sad!

My boy Elijah Burke has officially been released from the WWE. This makes me so sad, talent that was great and as usual for WWE wasn't used to his full potential. He was released on the 13th and I haven't talked to him in a hot minute as we've both been busy with our own lives. I look forward to hearing from him soon and finding out what his future holds. He's got such great talent in the ring and as well as on the mic, he'll definetly find something worthwhile I'm sure of it!

It was so much fun becoming friends with him, running his myspace for him during the past year and all the lovely things he spoiled me with. Elijah is and will always be family around here no matter what his future holds.

One thing I can be happy about tho, is Christian Cage returning to WWE. I've been waiting for this for a while. I'll have my three boys back...Edge, Christian and Jericho my three Canadian boys, so I'm happy with that.

With the Survivor Serious PPV going on right now, Rodney's in the background giving me updates while he watches it on his computer, I sit here watching the American Music Awards and reading and learning about conversion rate optimization boy I'm a mess tonight, too many things going on and then hearing the above news. Wow, what a night...

The World Heavyweight Champ once again.

It's actually been a while since I've talked about my addiction! I just realized that, I've been so busy with other things, other posts, reviews and giveaways that I've stopped posting about my favorite thing in the world. WRESTLING!!!!

For those of you who do follow, this past Sunday was the Cyber Sunday PPV. I admit, this is the first year I didn't take part in the voting, because honestly I really don't think it matters much, the outcomes in my opinion (and those of others) have already been pre-determined and I really don't think the viewers choice matters too much.

Being up in Canada, all the times are screwed up for wrestling, so I really do miss shows while I'm up here but I did end up catching Cyber Sunday. I had my own little victory of the night....

MY MAN HAS HIS BELT!!!!!!!!

That's right, my second husband (hehehe) Batista has the World Heavyweight Championship Belt. How ecstatic am I, he so deserves it, and it doesn't look better on anyone else but him!

I mean come on, could Jericho seriously beat Batista? I think not! Another great thing about the match, STONE COLD Steve Austin as the special guest referee! Which as soon as they made that an ‘option’ of choices to vote for, you already knew it was going to happen, why even bother having a stupid little vote for that.

It should be an interesting next few weeks/months. With Cena returning and Orton as well, I’m sure there will be a great feud between Batista for that belt.

The only other match I was really interested in was the Triple-H/Jeff Hardy match, which was great as to be expected. Here’s a rundown of the matches and wins that went on.

  • U.S. champion Shelton Benjamin defeated K-Kwik, Ron Killings umm I mean R-Truth
  • Divas Halloween costume contest: Micki James wins
  • John Morrison and The Miz defeated Cryme Tyme (is anyone else sick of seeing this match over and over and over again?)
  • Intercontinental Champ Santino Marella was defeated by The Honky Tonk Man (by disqualification)
  • No Holds Barred match Rey Mysterio defeated Kane
  • Evan Bourne lost to ECW Champion Matt Hardy
  • Last Man Standing match The Undertaker defeated The Big Show (of course)
  • WWE Champ Triple H defeated Jeff Hardy (so sad, I can’t wait to see Jeff finally win)
  • Batista wins the World Heavyweight title over Chris Jericho
So any of you out there who do watch wrestling, did you watch Cyber Sunday? What did you think?

The Black Pope Unveiled...

Apparently. Those of you know I'm a big wrestling fan, also a big Elijah Burke supporter and friend of his as well. Currently run his Myspace page, as well as co-admin/webmistress of theelijahexpress.com

It's been sad to say that WWE has not utilized some of their great talent. Elijah Burke is one of those guys never used to his potential. However, it seems that the push we were waiting for might actually come. Spoke with him the other night and he told me big changes were on the way. I expect that one of these changes will be my prediction of him moving to Smackdown, which would be one of the best moves for him. On other change seems to be his new "Black Pope" gimick he's been talking about for a while now. Finally as of Sunday night at a dark match, we have a new photo of the new 'look' that our Black Pope Elijah Burke will be sporting.

I'm hoping they go a little more into the gimmick than just this look, I personally friend and fan speaking, am not feeling it. If he's going to be "The Black Pope" I feel they need to add a little more to the look for the gimmick to go over more with the Fan's.

To The Haters......

Yea all you who hate on Wrestling, say its fake, blah blah blah lol

Not only was there a broken collar bone injury that Randy Orton received, and believe me, that was not fake you could literally see his shoulder sagging, so gross. But The Big Show, busted his eye open with one of the steel steps during his match. At first I'm sure alot of people thought he bladed or thought it was part of the 'script' but um yea. No. Big Show really busted his eye, and here is the lovely 'next day' picture to the right....

These guys bust their butt's to perform week after week, they travel crazy hours, and to stay that wrestling is fake, they're not real athletes is a disrespect to them. Sure the story lines are scripted, but the bumps, the bruises and the fatigue are real.

WWE: One Night Stand

Last nights One Night Stand pay per view, was GREAT!!!

For those who didn't get a chance to see it, I'm so sorry...This was BY FAR the best PPV of the year. I'm so glad that WWE kept it true to form and true to EXTREME!! Injuries, cuts and great matches what more could you ask for???

Oh wait, yes that's it... The Undertaker is BANISHED from WWE!!!!!! Yes, although I am a true huge WWE fan, I am NOT an Undertaker fan. Never have, never will be. So, MY MAN, Edge got down to business and beat The Undertaker to become the new World Heavyweight Champion! The best match of the night, a TLC match, which Edge, is still, UNDEFEATED in!

What a great night overall!!! Good job WWE, now keep on track with the next round of pay per views, keep them great and interesting!

Tonights The Night...

As with every other WWE Pay Per View, we'll be watching tonight....

Matches on the card are as follows:
I'm looking forward to probably 3 out of the 7 matches. The TLC match with Edge and The Undertaker should be one of the best tonight. Edge is undefeated in TLC (Tables, Ladders, Chairs) matches, and I'm sure will continue the streak tonight. Also looking forward to the Stretcher Match with Batista and Shawn Michaels, as well as for once in my life, looking forward to the Diva's "I Quit" match, would love to see how the WWE Diva's compare to the Knockouts on TNA.

Should be an entertaining and interesting night for WWE fans!

William Regal Suspended

I guess the reasoning behind his 'firing' has been explained.

WWE.com has announced that William Regal (Darren Matthews) has been suspended for 60 days due to a wellness policy violation.

This would be Regals 2nd wellness policy violation.

Now come on guys, you know your going to be tested, you know they're going to find something and that testing is at random, WHY do people keep using things in violation with the wellness policy?

Everyone was convinced that the firing was a work, I'm sure once the 60 days is up, we'll probably see Regal back on Smackdown rather than RAW.

It's a well known fact that Regal had a previous addiction, maybe he relapsed? What is with these stars that are getting their biggest push then get suspended for the wellness policy. I hope Regal gets the help he needs and is back to WWE after his 60 days clean.

In some other news, Congrats are in order to Kristal Marshall and Bobby Lashley. Both former WWE workers, Kristal Marshall a WWE Diva and Bobby Lashley being a former ECW Champion. Kristal is expecting their first baby in the near future, the both have been dating for quite a while and neither work for WWE any longer.
Congrats to them both.

WWE News...

Well, how long has it been since we've seen Torrie Wilson???? I have no idea what happened to her, why she hasn't been on TV... TORRIE? WHERE ARE YOU???

Well, now we can put the questions to rest Torrie Wilson's official fansite and Torrie Wilson herself have confirmed that she's asked for her release from WWE. Why? Who knows. Apparently that will be elaborated on both Torrie Wilson's Myspace Page and her Fansite in the future.

Good Luck Torrie, I hope you find happiness in your future career!

Now, what about Jeff Hardy??? He's been suspended for 60 days due to a second violation of WWE's Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy. That actually has ended! Jeff is expected to return and appear at RAW house shows next month! YAY! I can't wait to see him back. I really hope he's cleaning up his life and act, we love you Jeff, we want to see you here and in this business for a long time to come.

Speaking of House Shows. What do I get for Mother's Day??? I get the opportunity on Monday to attend the Smackdown/ECW house show here in Toledo. I am excited!!!! I love my house shows. You always meet a few wrestlers who are nice enough to take the time out and meet some of us fans. This time the girls will be coming with us as well. Lyric is so excited. She wants to see Elijah Burke so badly, except, he let me know he won't be at the house show. That's a little disappointing to both myself and Lyric. But we have other superstars that we like, and will be happy to see like Batista!, Matt Hardy, Kofi Kingston, MVP and my #1 to meet this time around, EDGE!

So wish me luck with my 'stalking' on Monday, hopefully I'll have some GREAT pictures to share!

My Day Was Just Brightened to the MAX!

So of course you know, I'm a wrestling fan. Hence my blog name. I also am friends with Elijah Burke and run his 'Official Myspace' for him as well.

I've had a heck of a morning, I've got some reviews and giveaways to post but I have to wait till later tonight cause my net has been screwy all morning, and I hate to start and just loose things, I've been FRUSTRATED beyond belief.

I got some packages in the mail today. One of them, just brightened my day to the max. I am still so excited over it.

Elijah Burke sent me a wonderful package full of autographed items from him to me. I just love that guy, he's always thinking of other people besides himself. How nice of him to do it, I mean come on, who thinks of that???? I got an autographed shirt, hat, arm sleeve and promo pic, along with May's WWE Magazine, A WWE Diva shirt and some personal pic's from his Hall Of Fame night on Wrestlemania (which I have to send back to him). I'm just thrilled beyond thrilled now. Plus I get to go to a house show on May 12th and see him as well (hopefully). TICKED just TICKED with joy this morning......

Here's my full package:

WWE Backlash.

Last night was WWE's Backlash Pay Per View.

I watched it off and on, missed the first hour because I had to watch the season finale of Big Brother. I wasn't too impressed with the Pay Per View in general. I was really happy with the Matt Hardy match, glad to see he's now the US Champ!!!! Unfortunately that's one of the matches I missed!

Here are the results from Backlash last night....

M.V.P vs. Matt Hardy for the United States Championship
WINNER: Matt Hardy

Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero for the ECW Championship
WINNER: Kane

Big Show vs. Great Khali (A.K.A The most boring match of the night)
WINNER: Big Show

Shawn Michaels vs. Batista (Special Guest Referee Chris Jericho)
WINNER: Shawn Michaels

Mickie James, Ashley, Kelly Kelly, Michelle McCool, Cherry, Maria vs. Beth Phoenix, Melina, Layla, Victoria, Jillian, Natalya
WINNERS:
Beth Phoenix, Melina, Jillian, Natalya, Layla, Victoria

Undertaker vs. Edge for the World Championship
Winner: Undertaker

Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Triple H vs. John Bradshaw Layfield Fatal Four Way WWE Championship
Winner: Triple H (now 12x WWE Champion)

The last match I wasn't surprise. I was happy tho, I can't stand Randy Orton/crazy boy. This match was slated to be the way Wrestlemania ended but was changed, so we got to see it last night, I hope once Jeff Hardy returns (rumored to be May 12) he still gets that shot, it would be nice to see him vs. Triple H and what Hardy can prove to be in the long run.
