The countdown to TNA Slammiversary begins. This Sunday June 21, at 7:30pm ET live from the Palace at Auburn Hills, Michigan Slammiversary 7 will take place. This is so very close to me, but unfortunately we won’t be in attendance. It would have been the best Father’s Day gift for hubby, but we couldn’t find a sitter in time for us to get decent tickets. While I’d love to be there no matter what, we couldn’t afford the travel packages available and I’m a snob when it comes to where I’m seated for wrestling events. Unless it’s floor seats I don’t want them, so this year we’ll be watching from home and taking part in the millions of other viewers who are ordering the pay per view.However, for those who can’t get the pay per view and still want in on some of the action, there’s going to be a special Slammiversary Countdown 2009 pre-show that you can view. Slammiversary will be celebrating its seventh anniversary this year highlighted by two “King of the Mountain” matches. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mick Foley will defend his title against Kurt Angle, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe and TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett, while X Division Champion Suicide will battle both members of Lethal Consequences and Motor City Machineguns.
