Happy Birthday!!!!!

I can't believe how fast time flies! My youngest daughter turns 4 years old today. It's great to see her grow and have fun with life, but at the same time it makes me sad to see my 'baby' growing up. I still love my cuddles with her, and so does she. She's a big time mama's girl, but I know that will be short lived as she gets older and finds her own independence.

It seems like just yesterday I brought her home from the hospital and even had her in my belly. In four years she has come a long, long way and I couldn't be more proud of her! No matter what anyone tells you, or even looking at a data center virtualization the time as babies is the fastest time ever, cherish it while you have it!

Happy 4th Birthday to my little monkey girl!!!!

Pepsi Refresh Project

Ever had a great idea for a way to ‘give back’ to the community? It’s always great to teach your kids how they can help out or give back to events/causes that affect those of us who are neighbors as well as those who are around the globe, but why not get a little more creative than the usual donating, we all have great ideas sometimes on how to help out around the world, but sometimes you just don’t know how or where to get started. That’s where the Pepsi Refresh Project can step in and help out!

The Pepsi Refresh Project is the newest way to get involved. Starting February 1 your kids, your family or even just yourself can submit ideas on how to get involved in improving your own community to the Pepsi Refresh Project. At the end of every month, Pepsi will post the top ideas from six different categories (health, arts & culture, food & shelter, the planet, neighborhood, or education) and then will post them up on RefreshEverything.com where everyone can vote on who should win $5,000 - $250,000 (totaling up to $1.3 million dollars!) grant.

This could be a fun project to come up with as a family, a great way to get in some creativity as well as help out your own community and the world. It can be something such as a playground that needs to be upgraded, roads that need to be fixed or even a school that needs some help with books or new computers, nothing is too big or too small, just pick one of the six categories and get to brainstorming, or if your adventurous maybe you can get an idea into all six!

Pepsi wants to hear from you what they can help out with, get involved with the Pepsi Refresh Project and help improve your community! You can submit your ideas starting 2/1/10 and don’t forget to vote as well by visiting RefreshEverything.com.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Pepsi Refresh. A gift card was given as a gift of compensation for participating. Snuggles with my soft and warm favorite thing...

So, I had a favorite blanket, it was comfy and warm and I just loved it…. I say I had, and loved because it’s no longer my favorite. I’ve since moved on and left my love behind. Not to say that it hasn’t been replaced though, because OH BOY has it been replaced!

My newest love that snuggles with me every night keeps me comfy and warm and helps me fall asleep, or be nice and warm and toasty simply curled up on the couch watching TV.

My new love is named the Sleep Number Classic Plush Blanket. Such a long name, but oh so worth the mouthful it is! My Plush Blanket is so soft and comfortable yet not a heavy weight blanket at all.

The ultra plush 100% microfiber blanket is non-pilling and finished with a 2- inch sateen binding on all four sides. It also has a logic label system which helps take the guess work out of where to start making your bed. I have been known though to grab this blanket off of my bed and use it on lazy days on the couch.

I was sent the Sleep Number Classic Plush Blanket in Queen Size in the color cranberry. A beautiful shade of cranberry at that! The blanket is huge even for a queen and keeps both of us comfortable and warm for a good night sleep.

The blanket even washes up well with no pilling and it doesn’t even loose it’s softness, it’s like the washing machine helps make it even more softer with each wash.

The Sleep Number Classic Plush Blanket comes in sizes from twin – king in a variety of colors and right now they’re having a great sale on these guys until January 30, so head over to selectcomfort.com and don’t miss out on your chance to own the best blanket EVER!

Vegetable 'Fried' Rice...

Dinner was SO GOOD! The Crock Pot Sweet & Sour Chicken turned out great! It was nice to have a great 'Asian' style dinner without having to take it through the barcode scanner. I decided though, to add a little more to it, I didn't just want regular old brown rice, so I opted to do a low fat Vegetable 'Fried' Rice to go along with it. This also turned out great, and there's a lot of left overs as well! I WANT MORE!!! Too bad I can't have anymore tonight.

The recipe is as follows......

Vegetable 'Fried' Rice

Ingredients

Pam Cooking Spray
2 Eggs (beat with 2 tsp of water)
1 package Mixed Frozen vegetables (such as Birds Eye SteamFresh)
1 tsp sesame oil
2 cups cooked Brown Rice
2 Tbls Teriyaki Sauce divided
1 Tbls Scallions chopped

Directions
Makes 4 1-cup servings

Put the vegetables in the microwave to steam.
Heat Large non-stick pan or Wok on Med-High. Spray with Pam. Pour egg in thin layer, cook, stirring to scramble the egg. Remove the egg from the pan and set aside.

Spray the pan with Pam again. Reduce heat to medium. Put sesame oil and 1 TBS of Teriyaki sauce in the pan. Add the rice. Stir the rice to incorporate the sauce. Let the rice sit for a few minutes and then stir it. Keep doing this until the rice is dry and less clumpy. If your rice is really wet it will take a while to dry it out.

Mix in the scallions, then add the vegetables and egg. Add the last 1 Tbs of Teriyaki sauce. Stir it all together. Serve immediately.

I actually didn't use the steam fresh veggies, I just had a frozen bag of mixed vegetables in my freezer and just put them in a pan and cooked them for a few minutes until they were defrosted and cooked. Really good rice!

Crock Pot Sweet 'n Sour Chicken over Rice

This is what will be served on my dinner table tonight, sounds YUMMY I can't wait to try it. As part of my new 'eating better' lifestyle I'm going to try to do a lot more recipes rather than the usual grilled chicken that we all seem to get bored of...

Crock Pot Sweet 'n Sour Chicken over Rice

Ingredients

1 lb. baby carrots - or 4 carrots cleaned and sliced into chunks
1 med onion, cut into wedges
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
20-oz. canned pineapple chunks
1/3 c packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
2 tsp. chicken boullion granules
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 c water
3 cups cooked brown rice

Directions
Layer the carrots and onion in the bottom of the crock pot
Top with chicken
Drain pineapple, reserving the juice. place on top of chicken
Mix together the juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, chicken bouillon, salt, ginger, and garlic. pour over the top.

Cook on low 6-7 hours

Combine cornstarch and water.
gradually stir into slow cooker
Cook 30 minutes longer or until sauce is thickened

Serve over cooked rice.
Makes 6 servings of 1/2 cup rice and 1 piece of chicken with 1/2 c sauce.

Are 100 Calorie Snacks helping you?

Today I want to take a little look at those little things we all seem to love. The 100 calorie package, you can find these snacks just about everywhere now but are they the right snacks we should be eating?

Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, Doritos, Cheeto’s, even chocolate bars, you can find just about everything today in a 100 calorie pack. While it seems like a great way to portion out our servings, is it really a healthy alternative to use when dieting?

These snacks are a great way to portion out servings, eating that small 100 calorie bag of snacks is far better than eating an entire box or bag of the regular snack before we know it. But does it really prevent us from overeating? How many times have you gone back to grab just one more package right away or even an hour later?

According to a study from Arizona State University 100 calorie snack packs can actually boost consumption! They gave people 200 calories worth of regular-sized M&M’s vs. the same amount of mini-M&M’s packaged into four baggies. 18% ate all of the mini-M&M packages while only 4% of those with the regular sized did. Those they tested that were not chronic dieters did just the opposite; over 30% of them ate MORE regular sized M&M’s from the larger package.

A big thing when dieting is not only portion control for a lot of us, but eating nutritious as well and the 100 calorie packs really don’t give us much of that. They’re still filled with carbs and sugars and empty calories. Things we need to look out for are foods that are going to help us suppress that appetite. Foods that are high in fiber, protein and healthy carbs and fats. With the sugar, high carb count and empty calories, these 100 calorie snacks will just keep us wanting more.

It’s easy to find some great 100 calorie items that will be nutritious and help our bodies and our hunger during out diet, some things that are a great 100 calorie snack include:

* 12 oz of skim milk
* 1 cup of fresh cherries
* 1/2 a cantaloupe
* 1 packet of regular instant oatmeal
* 1 cup of peanuts + 2 cups of dried cranberries
* 1 cup of fresh strawberries
* 15 almonds (plain without the added salt)
* 1 cup baby carrots + 2 tablespoons of humus
* 1 large celery stalk stuffed with a tablespoon of peanut butter
* 1 medium banana
* 2 egg whites on 1 slice of whole-wheat toast

These are just a few snacks that I’ve put on my list recently. My eating every 3 hours with some high protein high fiber foods isn’t an easy task, but with the snacks on hand, I can get it done, and be healthy doing it while keeping my appetite in check!

What sort of snacks do you find yourself grabbing on a daily basis?

It smells great, but it tastes like......

For Christmas this year my Nonna decided it would be a good idea to give me a bread machine. I think I may have mentioned it to her or my mom before that I wanted one, I did, I thought it would be great to make my own bread. However, we did have a bread machine at one point in time, and I gave it away because I never used it.

This time, I vow to actually use my bread machine! My only issue, absolutely no where to put it! Seriously no counter space for it, I had to sit it on one of the kitchen chairs to be able to plug it in and use it.

Alas, I decided to give it a shot today, and followed a recipe in the instruction booklet for whole wheat cheese bread, sounded good enough. Got all the ingredients into the bread machine and away it went to work.

The bread smelled great thought-out the house, I thought woohoo! I did something right for once.

Time was up and the bread came out, smelled really good! We let it cool down and the girls couldn’t wait to get the first slice. They absolutely loved it, even asked for more which they had with dinner. I went to taste it and BLECK! It’s disgusting, I honestly don’t know how these children are eating this bread, it’s gross….

So my first attempt is a big FAIL! This is where you all come in…

I NEED BREAD MACHINE RECIPES!!!! So if you have any good ones, healthy ones, pass them along to me, for each one I try, I’ll post on my blog with pictures and a link back to you as well.d

A New Year's Resolution You Can Keep...

Did you know that millions of Americans make New Year’s resolutions they hope will make them healthier, happier and more productive. Many don’t realize their resolutions can be accomplished in their sleep—literally!

Select Comfort Director of Sleep Innovation and Clinical Research and sleep expert, Pete Bils provides these simple tips about how to get that extra hour of needed sleep …and stick to that resolution.

A New Year’s Resolution You Can Keep With Your Eyes Closed!

• Make sleep a priority: Put “getting 8 hours of sleep” at the top of your to-do list. Try it for a week and see what difference it makes in how you feel and perform—that might be motivation enough to figure out how to do it full-time! Most of us are so sleep deprived, we’ve forgotten what it’s like to be fully rested and alert.

• Establish a bedtime routine: Bedtime isn’t just for kids. Adults should identify a bedtime that gives them 7.5-8 hours of sleep each night, and then stick to it — even on the weekends.

• Don’t boil the ocean: If you need to add an extra hour of sleep to get the recommended 8 hours, and can’t– split the difference. Go to bed a half hour earlier and wake a half hour later.

• Pay attention to your environment: Get into sleep mode by dimming or turning off all lights in your home one hour before bed time. Get in a dim, quiet room and turn off all screens (TV, phone, video game, etc.). This will help you unwind from the day and make falling asleep easier.

• Avoid anti-sleep activities: Don’t eat, exercise or consume caffeine near bedtime.

• Check your bed and pillow: Take advantage of innovations in bedding that allow you to customize your comfort, like the Sleep Number bed that is clinically proven to decrease back pain and Sleep Number bedding accessories.

What’s your New Year’s resolution? Please share it with us as a comment on Beds.com or on our Facebook page Must Sleep.

Sleep Number “Winter 2010” Sweepstakes
Go to www.sleepnumber.com/winter and register for a chance to win a personalized bed package worth over $3,600. Ends on Saturday, February 27, 2010.

Curbing Those Cravings...

I think the worst part of dieting and finding a new way of eating is the cravings! Especially for us women when it’s “that time of the month”, the cravings for sweet, salty and just plan pig-out junk food is what gets me every time!

It’s hard to ignore, but even when it’s not “that time of the month” every once in a while I still get those cravings for those “not so healthy foods”. Sometimes I think they should give out Junk Food insurance and give me an insurance quote. Last night we were watching Man vs. Food, and normally that show really does make me NOT want to eat, however last night at 11pm at night it had me craving a sub!

I admit, yesterday wasn’t a great eating day for me, I forgot to eat breakfast, and lunch and dinner wasn’t that great either, so I figure missing meals or irregular eating may be contributing to my cravings. Another thing I’ve noticed with the cravings are if I see something that I love, but I haven’t eaten in a long long while, especially if it’s put in front of me, I’m more likely to over indulge so I need to learn that everything IS ok, in moderation. If I’m craving that White Castle burger, go ahead and have ONE to curb that craving before it gets worse.

I also notice that I am an emotional eater, stressed out; depressed, happy or sad food always comes into play. I’m hoping that with my counseling for my depression and anxiety we might kick this to the curb as well.

I need to look a bit deeper than the food for this lifestyle change in order to curb these cravings, I need to listen to myself, eat when I’m hungry and ask myself why exactly I’m hungry at that time. Is it because of my emotions or feelings ore because I’m bored? Or is it because I’m actually hungry and need to eat because of a missed meal or wrong choice?

First things first from now on, when I think I’m hungry I’m going to grab a nice big glass of ice cold water and see if that helps, I don’t drink enough and I need to get this water drinking in more than I have. I also need to get off my butt more often. Sure I’ve been working out at least 4 days a week, but I need to expand my physical and mental activity to keep my mind OFF of foods and the cravings I tend to get.

How do you kick your cravings? Any tips or tricks to help me out?

Wash Them Grow with Suave Kids...

Ahhhh bath time! Lucky for me, my kids just love bath time, of course with two girls they always want to smell good and get all dolled up, but for a lot of parents, bath time isn’t one of the best times of the day, for a lot of parents it can be a struggle and totally overwhelming just to get those little ones all clean and fresh!

We just love Suave Products and each member of the family uses them, recently we received the newest line of Suave Kids products which are body washes made-for-kids. These great products are all ophthalmologist-tested and tear-free. The new body washes include:

Insure Your Love...

Hearts, Flowers, Candy….. Love is in the air and Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, how do you express your love? Why not try something a little different this year, be original, be honest and think about purchasing your sweetie a life insurance policy instead of all the impractical things you can normally buy.

What the heck does love and life insurance have in common you ask? More than you might realize! If you love someone, and want to make sure they’re always protected why not protect that love with life insurance.

To learn more, and to add some laughter into your day, make sure you check out this video, from a very special “spokesperson” who knows a thing or two about love.

As we know from the Valentine's Day celebrations taking place in classrooms and romantic restaurants everywhere, love and fun go hand-in-hand!

To get Americans thinking about life insurance as an expression of enduring love, the nonprofit LIFE Foundation is sponsoring the Crazy4Love Photo Contest. From now until February 19, you'll be able to visit the popular microblogging website tumblr.com and share a photo that captures how you've expressed your love to someone dear to you. One Grand Prize winner will receive a $1,000 gift certificate toward a romantic getaway weekend.

Go to www.insureyourlove.org to learn more about the contest and to enter.

Good Luck!!!

TNA's Road to DESTRUCTION!!!

Wow… what a change!!! If you read my post the other day about TNA’s Epic FAIL you’ll have an idea what I’m talking about.

First of all the TNA Genesis PPV was subpar at best, with a few good matches. The matches aren’t exactly what I want to get into thought. First things first is the appearance of the 4 sided ring. Not happy with it at all. If I wasn’t a dedicated fan and just flipping through the stations, I wouldn’t see any real difference between TNA and WWE right now, the 6-sided ring was what made TNA distinct from other organizations.

Now Hogan and Bischoff I understand you’re old, you don’t do well with change you have no idea how to work in a 6-sided ring, nor do your old ass washed up friends who you’ve decided to hire into TNA. I don’t mind seeing the old guys back, but what about making them MANAGERS or backstage talent and give the ring BACK to the TALENTED younger TNA wrestlers who deserve to be featured and who can work a match. I don’t want to see ‘bitch pac’ wrestle, I don’t want to see the Nasty Boys, I don’t even want to see Scott Hall wrestle again (not that he would anyways lol), heck I don’t’ want to see Hogan or Bischoff on my screen. Hogan, we all know your angle, we saw your kids in the crowd more times than we wanted to see them, we know its all about you and what you can do to make your kids famous, make you money and get your friends involved...

One thing that really got to me was when the fans at the arena actually Booed and voiced their opinions about the matches, and the ring, Hogan and Bischoff basically said SHUT UP it’s here to stay we don’t care what you think about it.

What brought me over to TNA was the uniqueness of the company, I was happy to see WWE wrestlers come over who didn’t get a fair shot in WWE where their talent was WASTED (ie. people like The Pope D’Angelo Dinero). It’s almost like switching teams in sports, your contract is up with one team an you get drafted to another, no different as long as you have the talent come on over. It was also about how well TNA actually LISTENED to wrestling fans, took our suggestions, took advice and took cues from the fans.

However, Hogan and Bischoff are turning TNA into a washed up old version of WCW. I’m sorry that your other ventures and organizations never took off the ground, or that they were just big failures, but TNA was flying high and on the road to greatness, now it’s sliding back down the hill into the trash to be dumped right on top of WCW and any other organization that went down the tubes. I think at this point even roadside assistance would be more of a help to TNA than Hogan!

I’ve been to many a live show in both WWE and TNA. One thing I loved in TNA was the crowd interaction and the LACK of censorship. When I heard how the fans were treated at the iMpact Zone on Sunday I was speechless. Being told what they could and couldn’t say, being scolded like little children because of cussing or the Boo’s and other comments being made. THIS IS NOT WRESTLING!!!! Going to a live event is about getting rowdy, about chanting, about cat-calling that’s why you go to the event rather than sit home and watch it on TV. However, TNA now thinks that no; this is NOT how a wrestling show should be.

Here’s a clip from a fan that was at the iMPACT Zone for a taping the other night, I’ve NEVER seen such a thing go on at any live, taped or TV show for any wrestling event, including WWE.

TNA has since REMOVED the video from YouTube, but I still have a working link I found so you can view the video here: http://www.gimpymoo.com/Videos/cast_members.mp4.

I can say that I’m thoroughly disappointed with TNA and the direction they’re headed right now. I stopped watching WWE because of the garbage they’ve been handing out lately, because of the new ‘family friendly’ PG rating they decided to go to, and now it looks like TNA wants to be another cheap family friendly rip off of WWE. I understand little kids are there, heck I’ve brought my own kids to wrestling shows, but guess what, as a PARENT I understand the language, the situations and the things that are going to go on there, as a PARENT it’s MY decision to bring my child into that environment, don’t worry about what my kids will/won’t hear, that’s my issue as a parent, not yours as an organization! Further more, if fans who attend tapings/live shows are now cast members, then perhaps you should be paying for their wasted time if you want them to act according to your script.

It looks as if Hogan and Bischoff are going to run TNA (right into the ground I might add) then soon A Wrestling Addicted Mommy may be no more, I’ll have to find a new addiction…. Dixie Carter, you have no idea what you've just turned this company into....

Why fix it if it isn't broken?

A great read from NoDQ.com:

"A fan that regularly attends the TNA Impact tapings sent out this message:

Hey guys. I'm one of the hardcore TNA fans who you see regularly on iMPACT! and TNA PPV. You probably recognize me as the guy who wears a shirt and tie to the shows.

I've seen a lot of posts claiming that the biggest thing wrong with TNA right now is us, the loyal fans in the iMPACT! Zone.

I'd like to give you a little perspective on things. There is a group of about 12-20 of us who are at every show we can attend (Collectively known as the "Crucial Crew", which is why you see us throw up the 'c' hand signal). And we DO NOT like the direction this company is going. Therefore, we express our displeasure in hopes that management will listen. Why? Because we LOVE TNA, and will not stand idly by while it gets raped by Hogan and his boys. If we were season ticket holders for a sports team, this would be expected, would it not? "

Daily Freebies!!!

What a day!

I haven't been around much online, in fact, I haven't done much of anything today. I got to go out and do a bit of shopping, and hubby basically stayed home and got our home a little more organized. Well, I should say more of the girls room than anything. The amount of JUNK and CLUTTER and TOYS that they've acquired is just...... CRAZY! By the time I saw him after he got their room cleared out you might have thought he took a little medical travel Mexico trip or something, it's like he had to come up for air from being deep sea diving. The amount of toys these children have is UNBELIEVABLE! I'm just glad it was him that did it and not me! So I'm just now getting online to update the blog and go about my daily online happenings, including my Daily Freebies, so ENJOY!

Ever have the fantasy of being a groupie???

**Disclaimer: Some images and content may not be appropriate for younger viewers. This post is for Adults 18 years of age and older and may not be safe for work viewing**

Ok admit it, we all have our fantasy men, mostly celebrity types. We have fantasies about being with them in the sack at one time or another, and wonder how it would be. Well now you can almost make that fantasy come true, provided that they’re at least a music star…

The OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator has let me get freaky with Kanye West, Trey Songz and Jay Z and made my orgasms with them finally a reality! That’s right, you heard me correctly.

The OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator is the most genius vibrator I’ve had to date. At first I snickered and though, ok really are we serious here? I mean come on, it’s a vibrator it looks simple and harmless enough, certainly not scary in appearance at all, it looks like a basic beginner’s vibrator, that is until you see what you can do with it. The OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator lets you wirelessly connect to your iPod or iPhone, I know what you’re thinking, silly idea. I did too at first, but once you hook it up… Silly no more!

This genius little thing now lets you get turned on by your favorite artist as it vibrates to the beat of your favorite songs. Whoever’s hot on your playlist now has the ability to make you, and keep you hot under the sheets.

Opening up the OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator was like opening a box of treasures. This was probably the most ‘accessorized’ vibrator I’ve ever opened. The box on the outside is different from most, if it didn’t have a picture of the vibrator on the front, you would be thinking you were opening a luxurious box of chocolates or something. The OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator does harbor on the end of being silky, smooth and velvety just like a box of chocolates would be, so I can see where the design for at least the box came from. Once you open up the box you’ll find another larger hard plastic case with the words OhMiBod across the front of it, inside you’ll find the purple OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator. In the main box you’ll also find three different electric adapters so you know you can use your vibrator anywhere in the world, no matter where you go. The charger (that’s right ladies, no batteries you can charge this one up!) as well as the 2.4GHz wireless transmitter are included as well.

The OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator is pretty simple to use, once you’ve synced up your music source which can be an iPod, iPhone, CD Player, Stereo System or any MP3 Player (as long as it has a 3.5mm port you can use it!) you have the ability to select from two modes manual and music sync.

Manual Mode gives you the ability to try seven different types of vibrations pre-programmed on the OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator from a faint vibration to something more intense, but with my favorite the Music Sync mode the pattern of vibrations totally depends on your song/music of choice.

Now don’t think for a second that you’re going to have wires and an iPod dangling from yourself, that’s not the case at all, the OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator is totally wireless! You simply use the wireless transmitter and plug it into your audio device and let the music play, the vibrator itself will work for up to 5 hours and will work as far away as 25FT from the audio transmitter.

The OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator itself is a pretty basic vibrator in my opinion, definitely a lot tamer than those I currently have, perfect for a beginner who wants to get a little more ‘techy’ or ‘geeky’ with their sex toys. The vibrator is about 8” long and 1.5” thick, I find it very soft to the touch and almost a soft velvety feel to it, it’s also quite quiet I found as well, it’s not a whisper but much quieter than some other vibrators I’ve got considering that it’s vibrating to the beat of music. The OhMyBod is also water resistant as well, so you can have some fun in the shower all while singing along to your favorite tune.

I didn’t use my Freestyle with a wide range of music. I tested it out mostly with my Kanye West album and a few Trey Songs and Jay Z songs, but once I realized how well it works I kind of stuck with Kanye as I was getting a kick out of being able to ‘do him’ lol. The OhMiBod works best with songs that have a lot of bass, softer songs, not so much. You really have to play around with the types of songs that work best for you and the intensity that you want. My favorite song to use this with has to be Love Lockdown the strong bass lines worked AMAZING with this vibrator.

At the cost of $125.99 seriously this is NOT something I probably would have on my must have list, I’ve honestly never thought of spending that much on a sex toy, but seriously after having this now I know why I WOULD pay $125.00 for a vibrator, I have to say without a doubt this is a MUST HAVE TOY for any woman out there. If I was hauled off to a deserted island and could only take two things with me, it would be my iPod and my OhMiBod!

Huge #FAIL for TNA!!!

Word is around the dirt sheets and the internet is that TNA has decided to do away with the 6 sided ring, starting TONIGHT at the Genesis PPV. I heard rumors about this in December when Hulk Hogan was officially brought to TNA and how he was pressing to bring the 4 sided ring in. I was adamantly against this then, and am totally AGAINST this now!

TNA is NOT WWE! That’s why I love it. TNA is actually WRESTLING! Sure you have former WWE Superstars in TNA, that’s not the point, it’s how their skills are being utilized and how they’re using them in TNA that makes the difference over the PG rated GARBAGE that WWE is pulling lately.

The 6 Sided ring was one of the things that made TNA different and unique than any other wrestling organization, and I can say as a fan, seeing the action in the 6 sided ring LIVE was MUCH better than the usual 4 sided ring as well.

I’m just flabbergasted that this was put into effect, that Dixie Carter actually let Hogan do this. I wasn’t a big fan of Hogan coming to TNA in the first place and it looks like I had right reason, he may just be the DOWNFALL of this company if this is the crap he’s going to keep pulling…

Let’s all let @TNADixie know how much we HATE the idea of the 4 sided ring being brought to TNA. TNA Wrestling is a company that usually LISTENS to the fans unlike WWE….

BAD MOVE TNA!

Beauty vs. my anxiety!

Today I’m thinking a lot about beauty. I’m changing my daily rituals, looking into more cleansers, makeup, creams and moisturizers. I’ve got a great moisturizer now, which I love, as well as a night time cream for getting rid of those pesky fine lines and wrinkles or better yet, to keep them away I should say. But there are always better products out there I’m sure, what happens when my current cream isn’t working out? What happens once those fine lines and wrinkles actually start showing up?? THEN WHAT???

Ok, honestly I’m letting a bit of my anxiety get the best of me there…. Aging isn’t something I look forward to and it's something that I tend to over worry about...

I’ve been browsing the web this morning and looking at sybervisions best wrinkle cream reviews, hopefully that will give me some direction as I look into my future products.

What are your best tips, products for skin care? What is your daily ritual for taking care of your skin?

Moisturize Your Skin While Braving The Elements...

This year it’s all about ME!

Yes it may seem selfish, but it’s a must. I’ve neglected myself for too long, and this is the year that my health and even my beauty will no longer suffer.

First things first, my skin is horrible! Not so much in the terms of acne or anything like that, but most of the time, and especially in the colder months, my facial skin is DRY, DRY, DRY!!! I hate it, the flaking, the redness, the itching, it’s horrible. I need to cleanse and moisturize more, however I’ve tried a lot of moisturizers and the only one that I’ve found to work so far, is over $60 a bottle (a small bottle I might add) and I really can’t afford to be spending that much, but now, thanks to proactiv, I’ve finally found a great moisturizer that’s affordable! I’ve never really thought of trying out Proactiv until I was sent an email asking if I would review it, when I hear Proactiv I think product for acne, but this isn’t the case with some of their products.

I could bathe in this stuff! The Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer is a godsend to my face! The praise I can give it isn’t enough, you’d have to try it out for yourself to see if your skin would give it the same praises that mine has, but every morning I’ve been using this moisturizer and my skin has been so much better…Softer…Radiant! The moisturizer is nice and light and although it’s designed for acne prone skin, it works on my dry skin wonderfully! It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or oily afterward.

I’ve also been using the Proactiv Clarifying Night Cream which has been keeping my skin nice and soft while I drift off to dreamland. With the benefits of retinol it also helps out those lines and wrinkles we don’t want to happen, or see on our face. Again this cream is nice and light as well, no issues with me breaking out in a rash or anything, and my skin tends to do that with a lot of products.

The only complaint I have with both the Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer and the Clarifying Night Cream is that the bottles are SMALL! They both come in a 1oz tube, and although I have found that you don’t have to use a lot of either cream, I would like to have a larger tube so I don’t have to replenish it so much. The Proactiv Green Team Moisturizer can be found for $24.50 on QVC.com and the Proactiv Clarifying Night Cream can be found on QVC.com as wel for $28.75. I’ve been using my products for almost a month now and I’ve still got plenty left, so for the prize and the size, it’s not all that bad, if I was running through it like crazy I’d probably have more of an issue with the price for such a small bottle.
