Pepsi Refresh Project

Ever had a great idea for a way to ‘give back’ to the community? It’s always great to teach your kids how they can help out or give back to events/causes that affect those of us who are neighbors as well as those who are around the globe, but why not get a little more creative than the usual donating, we all have great ideas sometimes on how to help out around the world, but sometimes you just don’t know how or where to get started. That’s where the Pepsi Refresh Project can step in and help out!

The Pepsi Refresh Project is the newest way to get involved. Starting February 1 your kids, your family or even just yourself can submit ideas on how to get involved in improving your own community to the Pepsi Refresh Project. At the end of every month, Pepsi will post the top ideas from six different categories (health, arts & culture, food & shelter, the planet, neighborhood, or education) and then will post them up on RefreshEverything.com where everyone can vote on who should win $5,000 - $250,000 (totaling up to $1.3 million dollars!) grant.

This could be a fun project to come up with as a family, a great way to get in some creativity as well as help out your own community and the world. It can be something such as a playground that needs to be upgraded, roads that need to be fixed or even a school that needs some help with books or new computers, nothing is too big or too small, just pick one of the six categories and get to brainstorming, or if your adventurous maybe you can get an idea into all six!

Pepsi wants to hear from you what they can help out with, get involved with the Pepsi Refresh Project and help improve your community! You can submit your ideas starting 2/1/10 and don’t forget to vote as well by visiting RefreshEverything.com.
