It’s going to be a hot day today, nearing 90 degrees YIKES!! I do plan to be outside a lot of the day today again though, and we’ll hook up the sprinkler for the girls to run around in for a bit. They’re pretty excited to get into their bathing suits and have some fun!
I had a long night. Stayed up to watch the UFC fight and was not pleased with the main event, my boy (Rampage Jackson) lost BOO!
Even though I got a lot of sleep, I so feel like I didn’t get much! Ever feel like you have dark circles under eyes, I feel like that. For some reason they’re there in my eyes, but in no one else’s. Time to get some makeup to cover them up.

Have a great weekend!
Hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
We’re not up to much, I actually just jumped inside so we could have some lunch and a drink. We’ve been mowing the lawn, cleaning out the garage, cleaning up things in the garage… What a mess that place becomes.
I’m soaked though from using the hose, how I got soaked and my children stayed dry is beyond me. I feel like a Texas Maritime lawyer!!
Anyways, hope you all have a great weekend and are doing something more fun than I am!

I need a VACATION!!
I’ve said it to much lately but truly, I really do! And although we do have plans this summer for a lovely vacation with my entire family including my parents, I’d love to take some time away from the kiddos and enjoy a wonderful vacation alone with my hubby.
We’ve never gotten to go on a vacation without the kids, heck we barely get out as it is without the kids. We also never had a honeymoon, and I’d love to just go somewhere nice and warm and ALONE! BUTTTT..... We all know that's not going to happen...

Another one gone too soon...
Today is a sad day. Another celebrity has passed away and again it’s someone I grew up with.
Gary Coleman has passed away at the age of 42 due to a brain hemorrhage. How very sad, I remember watching him growing up; one of my favorite shows was Different Strokes. For some reason as an adult I have some weird picture of him in my head of him carrying briefcases, I don’t know why I must have seen a photo of him somewhere.
Anyways, R.I.P Gary Coleman!

More Kids?
Some days I sit here and think about how I would love to have another baby around… Then I think of the children I do have, and then I think how stupid am I to want more!!!
Seriously though, I love my girls, I loved being pregnant, I however hated the prenatal vitamins, those things made me sick sick sick! I even switched to Flintstone vitamins for a while and even those had me puking. So with my 2nd pregnancy I was bad, no vitamins for me, but I really couldn’t help it.
That’s probably the only real complaint I had with being pregnant, what were your complaints? If you had any at all...

Itchy...
For a while now I’ve had some issues with my skin. It’s more often in the winter months, but there’s also an issue in a certain area that’s constant.
It seems that right under my wedding band/engagement ring, my skin gets super itchy, red and dry at times. So bad that I have to take my rings off for a few days at a time to let it breathe. Since I’ve lost some weight it hasn’t happened as much, I guess because my rings are looser. But I wondered at some points if it could be eczema.
Anyone have any ideas or bouts with eczema?

No Bumps this summer...
Summer is here, well maybe not officially but the heat sure is!
I know when it’s hot and humid I tend to sweat a whole heck of a lot more, and that means ACNE! I’m not proud to say that I still get it, especially as an adult, but I do. Thankfully it isn’t too bad, but it sure can be annoying!
That’s why I make sure that especially in the summer months I scope out the adult acne treatment for me during that time, because for me, each year it seems it always changes. I never seem to use the same products.
As we get older our skin, our chemistry it all changes from year to year, so make sure you’re always looking out for something new to help you and your skin out so that you look GREAT this summer!

Going back to school...
My husband and I have both thought a lot about either one or both of us going back to school. Hubby is fortunate enough that his employer will pay 100% of his tuition if he should decide to go back to school. This is not something we want to pass up. I only wish they would at least partially cover family members as well, but I guess I understand why not.
So, my husband has been looking around lately and trying to decide what school he’d like to apply to and where he wants to take his career so he can focus on what he wants to do when he does go back. Firs things first though he’s got to get his old transcripts.
He seems to be pretty excited to go back and further his education and hopefully his career. He’s been talking to an educational counselor and we just need to find out what he’s got to do to get in there, possibly things like gmat prep courses can even be talked about, we just don’t know yet.
He’s also a little nervous about going back to school, which I get, but he’ll be doing it online so really there’s nothing to be nervous about.

Saving Money...
We’re looking to save money, one thing we don’t want to do is cut corners and save money by cheapening things that really just shouldn’t be cheapened. Buying non brand name groceries are one thing, but skimping on auto insurance is another.
So we’ve been looking at a ton of auto insurance quote lately trying to figure out of if we can combine other insurance we have and get everything in one bundle and save us some money. So far, no luck!

Move it weight...
I just want to whine…..
I work out, I eat right, the weight, it’s coming off… SLOWLY!!! I know, that’s the best way to loose weight and make sure it stays off, but I’d like it to move along just a bit quicker. 1-2lbs a week is killing me!!
I’d love to be able to boost this along somewhat, I want some quick weight loss, not this slow take your time stuff!
Wouldn’t it be great if you could lose the weight just as easily and as quickly as you gained it? It’s easy to tack on, but so hard to take it off!

Mother’s Day is TOMORROW!!
Hubby’s if you’re smart, you’ve already found that perfect gift for the Mother of your children. However, I’m sure most haven’t as the mall was packed today with mostly men. Last minute shoppers I tell ya.
And for those Dad’s to be for the first time… YES even if your wife is pregnant and you have no other kids yet, YES you’re still to celebrate and get her a gift for Mother’s Day. Just because the baby isn’t in her arms yet, doesn’t mean she’s not a mother yet… And that gift, please please please make sure that it’s not something like cocoa butter for stretch marks. Although a great idea for a mom to be, it’s not the right thing to get her for a gift.

Our Day...
Today was a fun day of activates for the girls. First we headed out to the Farmers Market for their ‘Kids Day’. The girls got to make flower pots and plant some flowers inside of them, grab some hot cocoa (because its FREEZING here right now), and we walked around the Farmer’s Market for a while.
We then headed out to Toys R US for their Crayola event where the girls got to try out the new Crayola Glow in the Dark Color Wonders, make some pictures and get a free gift of some crayons.
Lunch was at Steak ‘N Shake, then we headed to the mall to pick up the Cookie Cake I won from the local news station from Great American Cookies. It looks and smells SOOOOO good!
By the end of the day though, I’m worn out! The girls were pretty good for the most part, but I did have to put them in line a few times. I’m sure after our outing today I’ll be needing some deep wrinkle treatment just to make sure I keep that young, fresh look!

A Camping We Will Go...
So we’ve decided to go camping this summer for two weeks, my family and my parents. We’re headed on a long road trip, with tents and just their small camper that sits on top of their truck. For my parents, it’s ok, but to hold 6 of us plus 1 dog, its just not going to work!
I miss our old motorhome that we used to go camping in as a child. Man, I wish those punks who set it on fire feel guilty, we lost our vacation ride because of them, and I would have LOVED to take my girls camping with that thing. If we had the money, you bet I’d be looking at some used motorhomes.
The memories that thing gave me are priceless, hopefully my girls will still have awesome memories of our camping trip this summer and beyond, even with a small camper and tents!

Treating Back Acne
I recently found a great article that tells you just how to attack and treat that icky back acne that people sometimes get.
I personally have never had a problem with back acne, but I know a lot of people who could defiantly benefit from some back acne treatment.
Some of the ways you can treat back acne easily yourself:
~ Wash your back with anti bacterial soap twice a day. Don't over wash it because you can irritate your skin and dry it out.
~ Drink enough water to get rid of toxins of your body.
~ Change your bed sheets frequently to prevent bacterial growth.
~ Take showers twice a day. It is very important to remove bacteria on your skin.
~ Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells that can worsen acne on your back. Stop exfoliating if you find your skin getting irritated.
~ If you use scrub, don't forget to choose sugar-based scrub.
~ Stop wearing tight fitting clothes. Wearing this kind of clothes can irritate your skin. If possible, wear breathable cotton clothing.
~ Prevent the build up excess oil by doing a good diet with low in sugar and fat but rich with vitamins.
~ Don't squeeze as it can spread bacteria and make your acne worse.

Do they really work?
Weight loss is hard, and like I said before, I’m trying to do it healthy, trying to do it on my own just with simple diet and exercise, but sometimes you need that little boost! I’ve never taken diet pills before, and I often wonder about them, do they really work? If they did wouldn’t every doctor in the world be prescribing them, wouldn’t drug companies jump on it to make money on them?

Weight Loss Pills...
I feel like I’ve been losing weight but it hasn’t been fast enough! I know I know, diet and exercise and I’ve been doing that, yet it just doesn’t come off like I’d like it to. Sometimes I sit here and think about taking some supplements of some sort, you something to help stimulate my weight loss a bit more. I’ve been looking at some lipozene reviews and they seem pretty good, I’m just afraid of taking pills like that for weight loss.
