Jakks Pacific Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery Set Giveaway...

One of the gifts my girls loved last year was the Girl Gourmet Cupcake Maker, now it wasn’t as great as we had hoped, it was pretty messy and the cupcakes weren’t that great, but the girls had a blast with it, and really that’s all that matters. This year my youngest has asked for the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery and with the prices on Amazon for it, I couldn’t pass it up.

With the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery, kids can bake and decorate their own tasty creations without all the mess. The Cake Bakery helps teach children the basics of baking in their own home while allowing them to add their own creative touches with fondant shapes and gel decorators. Kids ages 8 and up simply need a microwave oven and some adult supervision to start having fun with baking.

Jakks Pacific also partnered up with the Food Network and Ace of Cakes world renowned celebrity baker, Duff Goldman to be featured on the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery product line in hopes of encouraging kids to push their limits and create fun, funky cakes just like Duff.

Amazon has a great price for this right now at $9.99 (MSRP $34.99) last I checked. You can find more information about the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery or other Girl Gourmet products by visiting jakks.com.

JAKKS Pacific has some other great toys as well that I've featured in my 2009 Holiday Gift Guide be sure to check out the great gifts for children. But for now, JAKKS Pacific would love to giveaway a Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery Set AUTOGRAPHED by Duff Goldman from Ace of Cakes to one of my lucky readers.

Some of the best cakes I have ever seen are done by Ace of Cakes.
They have such a uniqueness about their cakes and they are so detailed.
I love to watch them make their cakes.

My cakes are nothing like that.
Usually they are a little lower on one side than the other.
LOL.

I think the best cake I have ever made is the one I made for my 7 year old's birthday back in July. I found a recipe online for a pink cake shaped like a purse and we tried it. She loved it! We were even able to put her initial on it.

The best cake I've ever seen by someone I know is from my husband. He's one of those people who is great at everything he tries. He decides he wants to be Duff (speak of the devil) and makes my mom's birthday cake. First time he's done this tand he's got layers, filling, fondant, and the darn thing looks like it could be on Ace of Cakes. Annoying!

This year I decided I was going to be supermom and make my girls birthday cakes. I do not have a single artistic bone in my body. I studied for months before I had to make them, and practiced so many times we were all sick of the frosting. I made a Lion King cake for my 5 year old, by copying a coloring book page and transferring to a cake. I made a 3-D Dukes of Hazzard cake for my four year old (that was her choice!). I had to buy the little cars on ebay. Anyway, I had fun and the cakes didn't look half bad, but nothing like Ace of Cakes!

Thank you for the chance to win!

I sing with a quartet. When one of our members turned 40 another member made her an over the hill cake. It was shaped like a hill Placed on the cake were little figures (representing the members of the quartet) going up or down the hill...depending upon the age. Of course the birthday girl just going over the downward side. To funny!
