With the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery, kids can bake and decorate their own tasty creations without all the mess. The Cake Bakery helps teach children the basics of baking in their own home while allowing them to add their own creative touches with fondant shapes and gel decorators. Kids ages 8 and up simply need a microwave oven and some adult supervision to start having fun with baking.
Jakks Pacific also partnered up with the Food Network and Ace of Cakes world renowned celebrity baker, Duff Goldman to be featured on the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery product line in hopes of encouraging kids to push their limits and create fun, funky cakes just like Duff.
Amazon has a great price for this right now at $9.99 (MSRP $34.99) last I checked. You can find more information about the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery or other Girl Gourmet products by visiting jakks.com.

Some of the best cakes I have ever seen are done by Ace of Cakes.
They have such a uniqueness about their cakes and they are so detailed.
I love to watch them make their cakes.
My cakes are nothing like that.
Usually they are a little lower on one side than the other.
LOL.

I love Ace of Cakes! I'd love this just to have something autographed by Duff!
my cakes are very basic so german chocolate
I think the best cake I have ever made is the one I made for my 7 year old's birthday back in July. I found a recipe online for a pink cake shaped like a purse and we tried it. She loved it! We were even able to put her initial on it.

I once made a sweet potato cake that was very expensive because it contained so many ingredients and it came out tasting awful.

The toughest cake i've made was a copy of the candyland game for my niece's birthday. The decorating was eleaborate. Thanks for the chance.

The best cake I've ever seen by someone I know is from my husband. He's one of those people who is great at everything he tries. He decides he wants to be Duff (speak of the devil) and makes my mom's birthday cake. First time he's done this tand he's got layers, filling, fondant, and the darn thing looks like it could be on Ace of Cakes. Annoying!
Mine was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cake I made my brother. It rocked!! Thanks for the chance.

My best cakes are the ones I make for my kids birthdays; they are not fancy but they are baked with love.
I recently found a blog called cake wrecks and they have some of the most hilarious store bought mistake. It is worth a look if you want to laugh!
Thanks for the chance!

One night about 2 months ago I discovered Ace Of Cakes on Tv. I was awed! My 3yo and 7yo daughters sat watching it with me. Every night after that my daughters would ask if we were going to watch Cake TV....LOL!
My best cake was a merry go round for my daughters 3rd birthday.

This year I decided I was going to be supermom and make my girls birthday cakes. I do not have a single artistic bone in my body. I studied for months before I had to make them, and practiced so many times we were all sick of the frosting. I made a Lion King cake for my 5 year old, by copying a coloring book page and transferring to a cake. I made a 3-D Dukes of Hazzard cake for my four year old (that was her choice!). I had to buy the little cars on ebay. Anyway, I had fun and the cakes didn't look half bad, but nothing like Ace of Cakes!
Thank you for the chance to win!

I sing with a quartet. When one of our members turned 40 another member made her an over the hill cake. It was shaped like a hill Placed on the cake were little figures (representing the members of the quartet) going up or down the hill...depending upon the age. Of course the birthday girl just going over the downward side. To funny!
I tried to make an alligator shaped cake for my son with one of those rubbery cake "pans". It was a disaester. My honey stayed up late to try again and his turned out awesome.

I used to work in a bakery, and slowly I learned how to do cakes. My nephew birthday came and I was going to meet my husbands grandmother for the first time ever, and I had to make my nephews cake. I have no clue why I was so nervous, I tried making a Hulk cake and I started over 4 times. I wasted so much cake a frosting that I got wrote up at work lol! His cake came out looking like a lopsided green rock lol!
His grandma didn't care at all!

I make a Mad Hatter Cake that had nine layers of cake total, covered in fondant, and decorated with gum paste flowers, harlequin design, strips, and a huge topper made out of gum paste, also. I'm still learning by watching Duff's show.
The craziest cake I have ever seen personally and not on a great tv show like Duff's was amde by a friend of mine who made a replica of Lambeau Field. It was great but not Duff great.
