GO CANADA GO!!!

It's about to start, the most exciting time during the end of the Olympics...... Canada vs. USA for Hockey!!! I usually take weekends off for blogging, and today especially as the stomach flu has hit me for a second time, but I can't bottle in the excitement!!!

I'm laying on the couch, laptop by my side, TV on and ready to CHEER ON MY CANADIAN TEAM!!!!

These Americans don't know a thing about hockey!! lol. I'm really wishing I could be flying my Canadian flag outside my house proudly today, sadly I realized, I don't have a Canadian Flag... How stupid of me! Next time I'm home, I think I'll be purchasing one just for days like this to show my Canadian pride to all of my neighbors while replacing my American flag outside!
All I have to say is......

TICKETS ON SALE TODAY FOR “TNA LOCKDOWN 2010”

HULK HOGAN, TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION AJ STYLES, RIC FLAIR, KURT ANGLE AND MORE HEADLINE THE MOST DANGEROUS PAY-PER-VIEW IN PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING!

TNA Wrestling returns to St. Louis, one of America’s most famous wrestling cities for Lockdown 2010. The annual pay-per-view extravaganza is scheduled for Sunday night, April 18, at the Family Arena in suburban St. Charles.

TNA Wrestling and Hulk Hogan lead the invasion of TNA Superstars including the reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and Ric Flair, along with Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, Mick Foley, Samoa Joe, Team 3D, Mr. Anderson, "The Pope" D' Angelo Dinero and more.

“St. Louis is one of America’s top cities for professional wrestling, with its tradition of classic wrestling at The Chase and the Kiel Auditorium dating back 50 years. So it’s no surprise that we’re returning there for Lockdown 2010,” said TNA President Dixie Carter.

“TNA Lockdown 2010” will be TNA’s second pay-per-view to originate from this venue. “TNA Lockdown 2007” was also held at the Family Arena in St. Charles.

TNA will also be holding “TNA Fan InterAction” on Saturday, April 17, where fans will get a chance to meet many of the TNA Superstars for autographs, photos and more. In addition, TNA will be offering a limited number of travel packages for the Lockdown weekend. (Yes, I''m already trying to figure out how we can do this and get me and hubby a weekend away with some wrestlers lol)

Tickets for “TNA Lockdown” go on sale TODAY, February 26, at Metrotix.com, the Family Arena box office or charge by phone at 314-534-1111

Cherry Chicken Salad...

Hmm, what's for lunch today?

I was preparing our dinner to stick in the crock-pot and figured while I was at it, I'd get lunch ready and stick it in the fridge until we were ready to eat. I remembered a few weeks ago I was at a choose cherries twitter party and found a recipe that sounded VERY yummy, Cherry Chicken Salad, I had all the ingredients so decided to give it a shot.

Cherry Chicken Salad
Ingredients:
3 Tbsp fat-free plain yogurt
1 Tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 Tsp honey
1/4 Tsp grated gingerroot
3 oz. shredded rotisserie chicken breast, skin removed (about 3/4 cup)
1 Tbsp + 1 Tsp chopped walnuts
4 Tbsp dried cherries
2 Kirby cucumbers, halved lengthwise

Directions:
Combine the yogurt, vinegar, honey, and gingerroot in a medium bowl.

Add the chicken, walnuts, and cherries. Mix well.

Seed and scoop out some of the flesh from the cucumber halves using a rounded teaspoon or melon baler. Divide the chicken salad among the cucumber boats.

Makes 1 serving
I also had to give it a little taste test to see if it was edible, and YUM, YUM, YUM!!! Can't wait for lunch today!!! Recipe was used from choosecherries.com.

Bye Bye To The Fat Life!!!

I did it, and I’m so glad I did!

I joined the gym…. I’ve wanted to join for a long time now but finances, me not driving, and other various things stopped me from doing it. Although I did well with my weight loss at first (lost 40lbs and surprised i've kept most of it off), I noticed I started to slack off big time.

I have my Wii, and have been doing various games/exercises with that, I’ve been doing my kettle Bell workouts etc, but it just doesn’t cut it. I have so many other reasons when I’m at home NOT to exercise, that I just put it off and put it off. I had to go back to the gym.

Back in the day, I used to LOVE to workout at the gym, you would find me there daily almost 3 hrs a day, especially right before I got married, I was a gym machine! You’d think I lived there working out daily. I really missed it, and I get my motivation by going, it really does make a huge difference.

I decided to join Super Fitness, which has a great facility, ton’s of machines and the best part, a personal trainer included in your monthly fee (which is pretty cheap too $19.99/mth). I think that’s one of the things that swayed me besides it being so close to home. I’ve always wanted to have a personal trainer but with any other gym I’ve been to, it was always an extra fee. Not here, everything is included in your membership, it’s GREAT!

I had my first workout and session with my trainer yesterday. I ended up being at the gym for about an hour and a half. Working with free weights, circuit training and then a 30 minute cardio session, let me just say, I remember now why I HATE CARDIO!!! Lol… I’d rather work with weights ALL DAY EVERY DAY but I know, gotta get that cardio in, it’s the key to weight loss.

I’m not heading there today due to hubby’s work schedule and won’t be able to get there on the weekends either for the same reason, ACK!! I was trying to figure out scenarios on how to get there, but it just didn’t work. So, looking at his work schedule for next week and beyond and making my ‘workout’ schedule for the gym, so I know what days I will and will not be going. I guess on the days not working out, it will be home bound workouts for now.

I can’t wait until we can get a second car!!!! One of the good things about this gym too is they have a Super Fitness Kids area. It’s not just a ‘daycare’ setting, the kiddos actually get to play around and workout too on their own sized machines, my girls can’t wait to go.

So I’m actually happy I did this, and excited about it too. I can’t wait to see the toning and weight loss that’s going to happen!! I also notice one very important thing. My mood change! When I’m working out, I’m HAPPY. There’s no longer a worry or depression going on in my head… I find I’m more ME again, so this helps tremendously.

Oh the other great thing, which I wasn’t too happy about at first, is it’s a co-ed gym, and you all know me, I looooovveee my muscle heads LMAO and boy oh boy did I see some YUMMY ones yesterday!!!

Hubby's 2 seconds of fame .....

HA HA HA! If I knew it would be such a short clip on the news, I might have gone out there! If you have no idea what I'm talking about see my previous post *Knock Knock* Honey The News Station Is At The Door.

Here's hubby's interview/news story from the local news station coming out this morning...

*Knock, Knock* Honey it's the news station at the door...

Well, here’s a lesson to be learned….

If you blog it, tweet it, and email it… THE LOCAL NEWS STATION WILL SHOW UP AT YOUR HOUSE!!!!

If you read my post about the Trash Issues we’ve been having here, you’ll know what I was trying to tell everyone I could about our issue here in Toledo, which included me emailing all the local TV stations as well as the Mayor. Yesterday was Day 4 of no pickup for the larger/extra items. Hubby finally called AGAIN last night and spoke with a supervisor, after we had been promised it would be picked up in 24- 48hrs of the last time we called, and again it wasn’t. The supervisor PROMISED that it would be picked up in the morning….

Well the supervisor didn’t lie. This morning a PRIVATE COMPANY garbage truck (not waste management that the city normally uses) came and pulled up to our house and started to load the garbage into the truck. Unfortunately for them, they were not alone. The local news station WTOL 11 was right behind them taking notes, footage and pics loading up the truck, and even came out and talked to the garbage men as well asking WHY they wouldn’t be picking up the other piles in the neighborhood if they were already out here, their answer, we can only do it if we’re told to…..

So we didn’t know the news crew was out there with them at first. Once the truck left hubby went outside to go put the cans away and there was a white truck outside our house, I said who’s that… Hubby came back in and said it’s the news; they want to talk to you about the trash situation!!!
OH….MY….GOD!!!!!

It’s 9am…. I’m still in my PJs no hair done, no makeup no NOTHING!!!! I run upstairs yelling NO NO NO YOU GO TALK TO THEM!!! And run and hide!

The thoughts run into my head to get ‘presentable’ and tidy up a bit, oh no there’s a child with nutella all over her face and in her pj’s with messy hair, what if they come in the house ACK!!! Lol I’m a nutcase apparently! My next thought… Get a picture and tweet! Which I did…

I seriously can’t believe they came out here, but our garbage is picked up, and hopefully the city will rectify this HUGE problem going on in this city! Thanks WTOL for actually LISTENING and wanting to cover this story.

Happy Birthday Swagbucks! Have you joined?

It’s a party over at Swagbucks today! Swagbucks is officially 2 years old and in honor of their birthday celebration if you’re not already signed up with Swagbucks, if you sign up today you’ll get 30 Swagbucks JUST for joining!!!! This is great, because normally when you first sign up you only get five.

For us regular Swagbucks users and once you’re a user too, there are going to be a TON of Swagbucks codes given out today so be on the lookout.

If you’re not familiar with Swagbucks yet it’s about time you get started. Basically you use Swagbucks as a search engine (which is powered by google by the way), and you get rewards by searching in the form of Swagbucks, which you can then use to redeem for a variety of prizes. My favorite, which I redeem a lot is the $5 amazon.com gift card which is only 450 Swagbucks! It sounds like a lot but really if you search a lot and daily you rack up those bucks in no time, super easy.

Plus Swagbucks has now changed the way that you earn your bucks as well. Normally it was 1 or 2 swagbucks you’d get when you searched, they’ve now upped that, and now instead of 1 you’ll get 10, basically they’ve multiplied everything by 10 with Swagbucks now! In the next few weeks, you'll be winning anywhere from 1-20 Swag Bucks (and higher) per search as well!

There’s so many ways to earn Swagbucks, if you’re not already signed up, give it a shot, and sign up HERE.

Today on The View...

So one of the things I’m doing today, is sitting down, writing,
tweeting and watching The View!

Of course, as one of The View Ambassadors I’ll be tweeting as well! There’s a rare day that I miss The View, it’s one of my daytime shows (along with All My Children) that I try to never miss. Yesterday’s episode was great, the cast of The Jersey Shore was on, yes, I’m a fan! Don’t judge me lol it’s trashy reality TV, which takes away my stress and worries!

Today’s episode will be sure to have a lot of chatter and talk going on as Nadya Suleman otherwise known as the Octomom will be making an appearance. I’m not a huge fan of this woman at all, and frankly, I don’t see why anyone is giving her more TV time, but the ladies of The View will be the ones interacting with her today and I’d like to see them RIP HER APART! Ok I’ll be nice…. It’s interesting to note that her babies are already a year old, time sure does fly as all of us mom’s know. How’s she holding up with all those kids one year later?

The Octomom isn’t the only ‘attraction’ to today’s show. Bestselling author Danielle Steel will also be a guess. I’ve never read her books, not really my thing but I know my mom and a bunch of my own friends and readers are big fans of hers.

The rest of the week also holds some great surprises and guests as well, take a look on who’s coming up this week on The View:

Thursday, Feb 25: A one hour show themed “Trying to Have a Baby?” Guests include Giuliana And Bill Rancic.

Friday, Feb 26: Regis and Joy Philbin will perform a song from their new CD: Regis & Joy: Just you. Just me.
If you’re on twitter be sure to follow myself and the other The View Moms as we tweet, chat and discuss during the show, we have some great discussions and I’ve met a lot of wonderful ladies. Just follow the hashtag #theviewmoms at 11am EST, and have your TV tuned to The View!

While you’re in The View mood, don’t forget to enter the great contest that Mom Central has going on right now where one lucky winner will win a trip to New York City to watch a taping of The View. The contest is coming to a close, you only have a few more days to enter as it ends on February 28th, so be sure to fill out the survey to enter!

I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for ABC Daytime and will receive a tote bag or other The View branded items to facilitate my review. Opinions are strictly those of the author of A Wrestling Addicted Mommy; please see my disclosure policy for more information.

Can I Go Back To Bed?

Today has not been the greatest day and its only 10am!!! I’ve already had to deal with meltdowns by my youngest this morning because she wanted to wear her new dress and not the jeans I picked out for her, ugh…. I also had to deal with another meltdown at school with my oldest.

We walk my daughter to and from school; it’s just a couple of blocks away. On our way home we’re on the corner about to walk down my street and I get a phone call from the school, it’s her teacher telling me Lyric forgot her homework folder and is crying. AHHH!!! If she didn’t have her reading homework she wouldn’t get a star for it. My daughter is doing really well with her reading and I hate to see her like this, so after a talk with my own mom, I decided to walk back to the school with her folder as a ONE TIME thing, she forgets it again, it’s her own fault and she’ll have to suffer the consequences.

To top it all off, I slipped on ice on the sidewalk walking back from school!

I’m so ready to restart this day!!!! Oh, and another thing, that post about the garbage I made on Monday, yea, guess what’s STILL sitting in front of our house! ALL THE TRASH!! The only good thing about it is I’ve been able to put more garbage out, and the big shipping box that I got yesterday is out of the house now as well, but the worst thing, is now I feel gross and like I’m living on a dump!

City of Toledo better step up their game, they told us another 48hrs and today that’s up so GET TO IT!

Toledo's Automated Pickup is TRASH!!!

About 2 weeks ago, our neighborhood got the dreaded new automated trash cans. That’s right; Toledo has now gone to an automated trash system. We now have 1 can for garbage, 1 can for recycling. At first the thought doesn’t sound that bad, until you hear about all the ‘rules’ that goes along with this new system.

First off, we get 1 can for each garbage and recycling from the city. Now this bins are the ONLY thing your trash or recycling can be in. Have your own trash can? Doesn’t matter, they won’t pick up that trash; have extra garbage from the holidays or just a lot of garbage that week? You better hope that it all fits in the can, and the lit is DOWN because if not, they won’t pick that up either.

Well, wait, that’s a little wrong. If you have an ‘overflow’ of garbage, they will pick it up, if you call them 48hrs in advance of your trash pickup day, and schedule a ‘special pick up’! You can get around this, if you wish to PURCHASE more can’s for your home.

The bins are large! I’m short seriously it’s a struggle for me to actually get garbage into these bins, never mind rolling them to the street, oh yea, that’s another thing, normally our garbage would sit on the grass by the curb for pickup. Not anymore!!! The bins must be off the curb on the road at least 3 feet apart from each other, not near any cars or trees or poles. If you don’t follow these rules, no garbage pickup for you!

So last week was a holiday, and because of the other screwy system Toledo has that meant our regular Friday pickup was pushed up to Monday, which meant, no garbage pickup for us last week. So of course that means we have extra garbage, garbage that won’t fit in the trash bins they gave us. We also did some early ‘spring cleaning’ and got rid of some old furniture, broken furniture and our mattresses as we all got new ones. This means we had to call for a ‘special pick up’! All of this stuff would have been taken before with the regular garbage, but because of the new ‘automated’ system, nope, no more.

We called for the ‘special pick up’ last week since we knew our new day was going to be Monday. My hubby spoke with the woman and also let her know of our displeasure with the new system. She apologized and told us we’re not the only ones calling in complaining, but as far as the ‘special pick up ‘ went, it would be scheduled for Monday February 22 and they would take everything we had…

So, that’s today. Last night we cleared out the garage and have a MOUND of things on our lawn by the curb ready to pick up. The regular garbage truck came by early this morning, picked up the bin and away it went. Our other garbage still sat there waiting along with our recycling bin. They day has gone by, no trucks no nothing on our street.

6 o’clock p.m. Garbage is STILL THERE along with our recycling bin! Now, our recycling only gets picked up every other week, but one would think, since we had no garbage pickup last week, this week would be the week for recycling. Apparently not! I and all my neighbors were apparently WRONG!

Hubby called again, asking about our pickup. They say “Oh sorry, we must have missed you” even though we followed their rules, scheduled 48hrs AHEAD of our regular pick up day… They still happened to ‘miss us’!!!!! Now they tell us, the turnaround will be another 48hrs and they’ll come pick it up…

So now, the trash will sit in front of our home, looking like a dump, until they decide they’d like to pick it up… Oh yea, and that picture over there, yeah, that’s the pile sitting in front of our house for the next 48hrs, beautiful sight isn’t it?!

Gotta love the city of Toledo, no wonder we were voted in the top 20 more miserable cities, cause I sure am miserable living here!

Hanging out at the mall...

So over the weekend there was a lot of kids hanging out at the mall apparently, not unusual, it's not like they were there looking for the best rosacea treatments. They were just, hanging out... Well, a huge fight happened at the mall here in Toledo that they're now calling the "Toledo Brawl" or "Brawl at the mall" with a bunch of teenagers. It's all over the news and they're like this is the second fight in two years blah blah blah... People are being interview that they're afraid to go to the mall now blah blah blah...

Here's a news story about it....

http://www.toledoonthemove.com/news/story.aspx?id=416673

Westfield fight puts shoppers on edge

TOLEDO, OHIO -- A weekend brawl involving dozens of Toledo teenagers at Westfield Franklin Park has raised serious questions about the mall's security. Customers say management should do more to make the mall safer.

Toledo resident, Dale Mead, thinks this past weekend's events may make some people avoid the mall. "I think it's kind of sad that people don't feel safe to come to the mall," said Mead.

In response to the fights, Westfield Franklin Park management issued a statement saying the safety of their shoppers is paramount and always a priority. They say they strive every day to give every shopper a positive experience and that they take such matters very seriously. Behaviors that are dangerous or offensive are not tolerated, according to mall management.

Mall customers NBC24 spoke to on Monday all agree that the mall has safety issues that need to be addressed. "I think because it's a meeting area for people it is going to get progressively worse and I think when it gets warmer in the summer it's going to be a lot more of that," said Mead.

While most people say they will continue to shop at Westfield, they would like to see some changes made. "More security or restrictions on the teens if they come in they have to come with a supervised parent or something like that," suggested David Rodriguez. "Most people come here to shop and they want to have a nice time and not worry about people fighting."

Toledo Police arrested and charged about a dozen teens after Saturday night's incident. Charges range from assault to disorderly conduct to resisting arrest.

Anyways, I was listening to the radio this morning and they're still yapping about this 'brawl' saying kids shouldn't be allowed in the mall, what's wrong with the parents why are they allowing their 14 - 16 year olds in the mall alone, parents are using the mall as a day care blah blah blah...

My view: Yes, it's wrong that there was a fight... BUT... Teens hang out at the mall, that's what they do, that's what they've ALWAYS done that's what I did as a kid. My parents would drop us off at like noon and we wouldn't be calling for a ride home until the mall was closing if it was the weekend. It's NORMAL! I always have expected that by the time the girls turned 13/14 I'd probably be dropping them off at the mall for a few hours, especially with girls, this is what they do!

When I was a teenager there was ALWAYS fights, no matter what if teenagers are gathered from schools all over the city etc. there's always going to be fights... I remember back in the day, that there was even some kid stabbed. That was scary not a normal occurrence of fighting.

I guess what I don't get is WHY people are blaming the parents? You can parent as much as you want and have your kids be the best kids in the world but as teenagers, once alone, some common sense goes out the window. I also don't' get why they're saying kids shouldn't be in the malls? And why the heck people are afraid to go to the mall??? I'm not.... It's a given, you go to the mall on the weekends its going to be packed with kids!

Now they're talking about curfews and they think no one under the age of 18 should be allowed in the mall without parental supervision.. I think this is nuts... I honestly feel sorry for my girls that they probably won't have the same opportunity to hang out and have FUN anymore when they're teens! I hope to god we're out of this crap hole of a city before then!

What are your thoughts????

Celtic Woman - Songs From The Heart...

Ok, I’m going to be blunt and honest here. I’m not the type of person who is ‘worldly’ with their music. I can’t sit here and lie to you and say I enjoy lots of different types of music, because honestly it’s very few and far between that I’ll like something that’s not hip hop, R&B, reggae or pop music. I can’t say that no matter what I’ll give it a try because honestly, I won’t. However, I was sent a CD called “Songs from the Heart” from Celtic Woman. I honestly have not listened to it, and can’t say that I will. More than likely, it’s a CD I’ll be giving to my mother since she’s a big Celtic music fan (*shudders* I can’t stand it!).

I have a wide range of readers, most of who I’m sure don’t have the same musical tastes as myself, so I strive to let you all know about things heck, even I might not be interested in but know my readers might. Celtic Woman is one of them.

About Celtic Woman:
Celtic Woman are an all-female vocal ensemble performing various traditional and contemporary Celtic-based songs. Often compared to such artists as Clannad, Enya, and Loreena McKennitt, Celtic Woman also put on a live stage show that shares much in common with similarly minded shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. A live performance by Celtic Woman was filmed for broadcast on PBS in 2004 and debuted a year later with an accompanying CD and DVD. The holiday-themed A Christmas Celebration appeared in 2006, with A New Journey following in 2007. As well as the group recordings, each member of Celtic Woman has released her own solo album. ~ Matt Collar, All Music Guide.
You can find out more about Celtic Woman by visiting their website on celticwoman.com. If this is your type of thing, they’re on tour and tickets are on sale right now, you can visit their website for tour details. Celtic Woman will also be on Live! With Regis & Kelly March 17, 2010.

I’m not that sheltered that I haven’t HEARD about Celtic Woman before, they’re pretty popular and have a lot of devoted fans, myself, I’m just not one of them. Celtic Woman’s Songs from the Heart album debuted at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and #1 on the billboard World Music Chart.

You can purchase Songs From The Heart on Amazon.com.

Banquet Thanks a Million!!!

Sometimes as a mom we just have those days where dinner is NOT one of the things we want to think about for the day. That’s when we’re looking for some help. We’re not a big ‘frozen dinner’ family, but I do try to keep a few things on hand in the freezer just in case one of those “I don’t wanna cook dinner” days comes up.

A lot of times we’ll have Banquet frozen entrees in the freezer, things like their pot pies or our favorite the Crock Pot Classics meals that they have. So easy, and I don’t have to worry about what’s for dinner. Plus, it’s still healthy, and a lot cheaper than take-out!

Banquet wants to thank loyal customers like me (and you!), and have come up with their “Thanks a Million” program where they’ll be giving away more than $1 million worth of redeemable cash prizes through April!

I'm now a Brand Ambassador for The View!

I’ve got some exciting news!!!! Last year I posted that I had some exciting news, and that was when I was chosen to be the Street Team President for Wrestlers Rescue, and how excited was I to be a part of something so great, but I’ve got some equally exciting news now!

You may not think that A Wrestling Addicted Mommy would be into such things, but oh how little you know! Last week I got an email from Mom Central letting me know that I was chosen to be a Brand Ambassador for The View!!! I’m a HUGE fan of The View! I’ve been watching for years, probably since they first aired on TV.

I’ve seen people come and go (Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, Lisa Ling, Rosie O’Donnel) it’s a guilty pleasure of mine. I love listening to the ladies debate and banter, I think my favorite part of the show isn’t the guests, it’s more of the “Hot Topics” that they sit at the table talking about. Even though there’s a host I can’t stand, and never will see eye to eye with (Elizabeth Hasslebeck), I love that they can have opposing sides and different ‘views’ it’s what makes things so interesting!

My favorite host has to be by far Sherri Shepherd. She’s someone I can relate to in a lot of ways. And hey, how can I not love a woman who has love for wrestling as well!

So keep an eye out for my posts, my tweets and my status updates. I’ll be posting the latest and greatest goings on about The View and following the discussions as well as having discussions on Twitter with other #TheViewMoms, take the time to come out and follow along and join in!

If you really want to get in on the action though, Mom Central is hosting a great contest for all of you ladies (and men) who LOVE The View! If you visit Mom Central and enter the sweeps you’ll have a chance to win a trip to New York City to go and watch a taping of The View! The contest ends 2/28 so be sure to head over and fill out the entry form TODAY!

You bet your butt that I’ve already entered, what a great prize that would be, a trip to NY to do some shopping AND be able to take in The View, nothing more I could ask for (ok well there are a few other things but we won’t go there lol).

I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for ABC Daytime and will receive a tote bag or other The View branded items to facilitate my review. Opinions are strictly those of the author of A Wrestling Addicted Mommy; please see my disclosure policy for more information.

Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey Soundtrack

No one was more excited than my youngest daughter when we found out we were going to be getting the chance to review the Curious George 2- Follow That Monkey soundtrack.

My daughter is a huge Curious George fan, in fact, she’s basically just a monkey fan, so anything and everything that has to do with monkeys she’s happy to have in her possession, although I wasn’t too sure how she was going to react to the actual music on the soundtrack, she was just happy to see it was Curious George most of all.

The Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey Soundtrack won’t be available in stores until March 2nd which coincides with the release of the sequel to Curious George; Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey. The soundtrack features artists such as Brian Wilson, Jackie Greene and Carbon Leaf. My daughter honestly wasn’t too into the soundtrack, I’m guessing that after she sees the actual movie/DVD she’ll appreciate it a little more as she’ll be able to identify the songs with the movie.

Track Listing for Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey:

1: “Life Less Ordinary” Carbon Leaf
2: “The Friendship” Carbon Leaf
3: “California Sun” Brian Wilson
4: “On A Roll” Carbon Leaf
5: “Heart Of The Day” Carbon Leaf
6: “Let Your Troubles Roll By” Carbon Leaf
7: “Walking In The Sun” Carbon Leaf
8: “Follow That Monkey” Jackie Greene
9: “Moon Man” Heitor Pereira
10: “Going East” Heitor Pereira
11: “Giving A Hand” Heitor Pereira
12: “Zoo” Heitor Pereira
13: “Friendship” Heitor Pereira
My take, not really a CD I enjoyed either but for kids the songs are catchy and fun, like I said once my little one see’s the movie I’m sure she’ll enjoy the CD much more as she’ll have the movie to identify the songs with.

You’ll be able to purchase both the Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey Soundtrack and DVD movie in early March, but until then, you can hear some of the audio streams by visiting the 429 Records website.

One lucky reader from A Wrestling Addicted Mommy has the chance to win the Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey CD Soundtrack for themselves.

You don't need Valentine's Day....

**Disclaimer: Some images and content may not be appropriate for younger viewers. This post is for Adults 18 years of age and older and may not be safe for work viewing**

Valentine’s Day isn’t a holiday totally celebrated by all. Truthfully, I’d rather have the ‘attention’ and ‘romance’ various other days through the year rather than just for one day. Don’t’ get me wrong! I still would love to have a gift and be showered with affection on Valentine’s Day too; it’s just not that big of a deal to me as some other people seem to make it.

I do try to do something a little special for hubby on Valentine’s Day though, but with kids, sometimes that can be hard. I don’t get to do exactly what I’d love to do, take him away for a night or weekend with just the two of us, but we can make the most of what we have.

This Valentine’s Day, my hubby will have a night full of fun! Not to say that he doesn’t get that often, but it’s not often that you’ll find me in some cute/sexy lingerie either. My own body image normally shy’s me away from wearing such things, but I know he loves it (why is beyond me!).

The cutest thing, which even makes me feel good about myself, is what I need to find, and once again Eden Fantasys was able to help me out! With the cute and sexy Pinstripe Chemise Set from Dreamgirl, I’m sure he’ll be a happy man! This slinky, soft set is perfect for us girls who are trying to work with a little more. A lot of times I notice lingerie really isn’t made for bigger girls, especially those of us with some extra hips and ass, and it is something I was afraid of again, for some reason even though they make plus size, it’s really not made for plus size bodies.

I’m presently surprised with this set though; it fits GREAT, has all the right support and makes me feel great too! The panties are adorable! With the little frills on the back and the slit on the top makes them peek out, a nice little touch. I seriously fell in love as soon as I put this on. It’s really nice to have something cute, sexy and fun that not only I like myself in, but I’m sure hubby will as well.

In addition to the lovely surprise of some lingerie will come a little naughty side as well. As cute and sexy as it makes me look, I have to bring the bad girl out too, that’s where the little paddle comes into play. It’s not something for everyone, but for those of us who like (or like to give) spankings, this is a must have! Time to take some control and leave your mark! With the Impressions Paddle Hearts by Sportsheets you’ll be able to take your partner and leave a great impression from your night of fun! The soft quality theater on the paddle features three cut-out hearts which will leave a stunning impression on your partner no matter where you choose to spank them!

Not only does it provide a great impression, it leaves you satisfaction by both the giver and receiver and the great ‘slapping’ sound only adds to the mood! I can’t wait to whip this sucker out and use it on my hubby, though his reaction might not be as happy as mine when I get to use it. However, it’s a Valentine’s Day gift not only to him, but to myself as well as the roles can and will be reversed so we can both enjoy the lovely gifts!

Remember, Valentine’s Day isn’t’ the only day to bring out the sexy or naughty side to your partner, you can make every and any day special with all the great ideas, toys, and selection that Eden Fantasys can bring to your love life.

Visit Eden Fantasys today at edenfantasys.com.
