My coming week...

I don't know how much I'll be on during the following days/week. My mom and dad are coming down from Canada.

My dad and a friend of his are heading down to Dayton tomorrow for Hamvention. Their usual expedition to Dayton, Ohio. My dad has been going to this for as long as I can remember. I'm sure most of you actually have no clue what Hamvention is. Hamvention is a huge electronics flea market geared towards Ham Radio. My dad has been doing Ham radio forever it seems. Something he enjoys. I remember going to Hamvention when I was a little girl. It was a big deal to go down to Dayton Ohio for the long weekend every year. Although Hamvention is quite boring to the common person, we used to go to the malls, go shopping. Back in the day when the Canadian dollar was really high it was a treat to come down to the states and shop and get all the name brand stuff we couldn't get back home. As I got older there was a few great things about Hamvention, there was some pretty cool stuff there, and then you'd noticed the 'boys' there as well.

So now, my dad loves it that I'm now living in Ohio, only a few hours away from Hamvention. He spends the night here, then heads down for the weekend the next day then comes back up here Sunday night, spends the night and heads back home Monday sometime. This year Mom isn't going with him, but I ended up convincing her to spend the week/weekend here with us. So it will be nice to have some company around during the day, and the girls miss Grandma and Grandpa so they're excited.

I don't know how much I'll actually get to spend online blogging or anything this week, but I will check in and I will write somewhat, maybe just not as much as usual.
