The iPosture is a small electronic device that was developed by two Memphis physicians: Dr. Moacir Schnapp and Dr. Elma Schnapp, who describe the device as a personal posture coach. Using nano-sensor technology the small device learns your body’s correct posture and then senses when you slouch. Once the iPosture has been alerted it sends off a small vibration which you can feel so you know to correct your posture.
The iPosture is so small and discreet that you can use it during everyday activities. During the first two – four weeks it can be worn for 4hrs a day so that you can have good posture behavior ingrained in you. Once you’ve trained yourself over the span of a few weeks you’ll soon be able to have correct posture without the use of the devices.
