No more running and hiding because of swimsuit season...

It’s summer time that means hot weather and nice cool pools! Unless you’re me, I’ve shied away from pools and swimwear for a few years now and until I’m that perfect size (that I’ll never be) finding me in public with a swim suit, is going to be a rare thing to find.

Most swim suits for us ‘bigger’ girls I usually find ugly, tacky and just not flattering at all. The skirts on the suits I think make you look older and bigger than you already are. I mean come on, just because I’m a plus sized girl, doesn’t mean I don’t want to look cute and stylish in my swimming gear when I hit the pool or beach, that is, when I’m brave enough to put on a swim suit in the first place.

This year, I’ve decided to be bold and Lands’ End was there to help me. With a great plus sized swim line for women, finding a suit that fits your style and your body type isn’t a frustrating task any longer. Not only do they have flattering styles for all types of women in every body shape, but they address those problem areas as well, so if you need that extra support in the bust area, or need a little slimming in the tummy you’ll find what you need from Lands’ End.

With a wide range of pieces from a one piece to mixing and matching separates you’ll find something that fits you just right! I love their separate pieces so much that that’s what I chose when picking out my review swimwear to try out. My major issues is my tummy area so finding a suit that could minimize and slim me, even just a little so I felt just a bit more confident and comfortable in a swimsuit this season.

I chose the Beach Living Ikat Print Scrunchback Tie Front Swim Top and the Beach Living Tummy Control SwimMini for the bottom. The Beach Living Scrunchback Tie Front Swim Top I am in love with, not only is the pattern very cute and flattering but the top can be worn two ways. The square neckline cinches to a sweetheart neckline with a single tie, which gives you two looks in one. There’s also a cute scrunch in the back that ensures your straps will stay in place, there’s nothing worse than straps sliding down while your swimming, and that I didn’t find happening at all. There’s also a soft cup bra inside that makes things just a little more comfortable to give you the support you need.

The Beach Living Tummy Control SwimMini gave me the confidence that I needed to step out to the pool in a suit. The panty inside the skirt has control lining that smooth’s and flatters in the exact area you need it, and the skirt isn’t so bad, it’s actually very cute and anything but an ‘old lady’s suit’. The wider waistband also doesn’t dig in and is very comfortable to wear all day both just to lounge around in, and swim in. These bottoms definitely give me the support and sleeker look I want to have while in a swim suit.

Lands’ End swimsuit sizes are also very true to size. I had no issues ordering online and having the garments fit me once they arrived. I love the separates Lands’ End provides for all their swimsuits but especially the plus size line, thank you for allowing us bigger girls to find a great suit and the right fit at the same time!

You can check out their wide variety of swim suits for all sizes for men, women and even children by visiting their website at www.landsend.com.

WIN IT!!!
