Most swim suits for us ‘bigger’ girls I usually find ugly, tacky and just not flattering at all. The skirts on the suits I think make you look older and bigger than you already are. I mean come on, just because I’m a plus sized girl, doesn’t mean I don’t want to look cute and stylish in my swimming gear when I hit the pool or beach, that is, when I’m brave enough to put on a swim suit in the first place.
This year, I’ve decided to be bold and Lands’ End was there to help me. With a great plus sized swim line for women, finding a suit that fits your style and your body type isn’t a frustrating task any longer. Not only do they have flattering styles for all types of women in every body shape, but they address those problem areas as well, so if you need that extra support in the bust area, or need a little slimming in the tummy you’ll find what you need from Lands’ End.
With a wide range of pieces from a one piece to mixing and matching separates you’ll find something that fits you just right! I love their separate pieces so much that that’s what I chose when picking out my review swimwear to try out. My major issues is my tummy area so finding a suit that could minimize and slim me, even just a little so I felt just a bit more confident and comfortable in a swimsuit this season.
I chose the Beach Living Ikat Print Scrunchback Tie Front Swim Top and the Beach Living Tummy Control SwimMini for the bottom. The Beach Living Scrunchback Tie Front Swim Top I am in love with, not only is the pattern very cute and flattering but the top can be worn two ways. The square neckline cinches to a sweetheart neckline with a single tie, which gives you two looks in one. There’s also a cute scrunch in the back that ensures your straps will stay in place, there’s nothing worse than straps sliding down while your swimming, and that I didn’t find happening at all. There’s also a soft cup bra inside that makes things just a little more comfortable to give you the support you need.
The Beach Living Tummy Control SwimMini gave me the confidence that I needed to step out to the pool in a suit. The panty inside the skirt has control lining that smooth’s and flatters in the exact area you need it, and the skirt isn’t so bad, it’s actually very cute and anything but an ‘old lady’s suit’. The wider waistband also doesn’t dig in and is very comfortable to wear all day both just to lounge around in, and swim in. These bottoms definitely give me the support and sleeker look I want to have while in a swim suit.
Lands’ End swimsuit sizes are also very true to size. I had no issues ordering online and having the garments fit me once they arrived. I love the separates Lands’ End provides for all their swimsuits but especially the plus size line, thank you for allowing us bigger girls to find a great suit and the right fit at the same time!
You can check out their wide variety of swim suits for all sizes for men, women and even children by visiting their website at www.landsend.com.

my main issue is my stomach... and finding something that hides it. =)
I have narrow shoulders, so I need good straps on my suit that don't fall down or bother me. :)

My biggest problem with finding a good swimsuit is getting the right fit in the bottom half.
guesswhojustme at hotmail dot com
My first choice would be to match the SwimShape Separates Solid Minimizer Tankini Top (in red) with the TrimLine Separates High Waist Swim Bottoms. I've always wanted a red swimsuit!

It's very difficult to find a top for large cupped women.
I am top-heavy and a bit wide around the middle.
my problem is they're usually too hi cut on the legs or too low cut on the chest! and have you ever tried finding a decent one piece with a decent price?!
Women's Regular All-over Control Slender Tunic Swimsuit is my choice!
maybe the Women's All-over Control Slender Tunic Swimsuit could hide some of my baby fat

I have long legs but a short torso so finding a suit that doesn't make me look like I'm wearing a saggy diaper in the back is hard! Don't you just HATE that look?
Oh my I have so many areas..LOL.. but my biggest problem would have to be covering up my thighs it is hard to find the perfect suit for that.

I have a tummy that needs to disappear! It is hard to find a comfortable swimsuit that makes me feel good.
I have several issues but my main one is finding a swim suit with enough support and coverage in the chest area.

Women's Plus Size TrimLine Tank Print Empire V-neck Swim Dress

Ny biggest problem is matching a big bottom with a small top. Thanks for this offer.
oak462@juno.com
Size is the big issue for me, many suits don't fit quite the way I want.
my main issue is keeping my tummy FLAT
I really like the women's plus size all over control solid carmela slender swim dress. It has an underwire bra for extra support. Being larger on top makes it difficult to find a swimsuit that not only covers but supports as well. I bet this swimsuit would be very comfortable

My biggest problem with bathing suits is covering all the problem areas (chest, stomach, behind) without looking too frumpy.
I would chose the minimizer swimshape tank swimsuit.
I have no waist and small on top, would love to find something figure flattering.
shawn113(at)hotmail(dot)com
My biggest swimsuit challenge is that I'm overweight, but still flat-chested. It's so discouraging for me to find a good fit that I have avoided shopping for swimwear for several years.
lindasuekoester@hotmail.com
A lot of swim suits are WAY too revealing and do not hide my gut. LOL
atndwj@yahoo.com
My issue is that I have a smallish chest and a flabby tummy. I would need a suit to enhance the cleavage while decreasing the size of my midsection. Sadly, I rarely go to the pool because it looks like I have an inner tube stuck around my waist because of my tummy.
dispatcher_kristy@hotmail.com
My biggest issue? Where do I start? A 40 year old body that's had five kids about sums it up.
I follow.
I love how Lands End makes suits that are both stylish and modest . . . and my 6-year old lands end suit could use a replacement :-)
Mu biggest issue is finding a suit that covers my top without showing a lot of clevage
I apparently don't have enough of a butt so my bikinis sag in the back :(
main issue...is the top for sure, the whole built in bra or not enough padding...or enough support

I'm plus size, so my biggest issue is finding a well made suit that is flattering but not old lady frumpy. When I do find one, then I have to make sure it is not too revealing in the clevage area.
Thanks for the great giveaway. I love Lands End and hope to win.
I am small on top plus I find many of the bottoms cut too high up.

Women's Regular All-over Control Slender Tunic Swimsuit - that's about I need to say, correct?! ;)
mcj4tlj(at)comcast(dot)net
My most difficult issue w. swimsuits is that I can never find one with enough support up top to hold me in place!
And my must-have suit from their website is the adorable "Beach Living Paradise Floral V-neck Halter Swim Top," I love the pattern!
My biggiest swimsuit challange is finding a suit that has good rear coverage. I hate suits that ride up and you always are picking at your backside. Land End has some really nice looking suits. I really liked Women's Regular Capri Coral Reef Bandeau Halter Swim Top and I would pair it off with the matching Coral Reef Minin SwimMini.
My main issue when picking a swimsuit is hiding my thighs.
dolniaks[at]consolidated[dot]net
My main issue is keeping my bosom in check!
My main "issue" is that I need a different size for top and bottom. And it helps if the tops are sized by bra cup, rather than just in S, M, L, and XL.
Lands' End is one of the few shops that actually sells swimwear like that and I appreciate it. I totally love the Beach Living separates, by the way. The adjustable swim mini is my favorite. It is so fashionable and fun.
