"Bar owners near the Workers' Stadium in central Beijing say they have been forced by Public Security Bureau officials to sign pledges agreeing not to let black people enter their premises."Uniformed Public Security Bureau officers came into the bar recently and told me not to serve black people or Mongolians," said the co-owner of a western-style bar, who asked not to be named."
What a great way to promote the unity that the Olympics tries to show... How disgusting, in this day and age, and in a place like Beijing where it's not just a small little village, that people would allow this to happen, and continue to allow such practices to be held by complying with the request. I can't believe how wrong this is. Just another reason to maybe listen to that boycott about the Olympics. I just feel for those athletes going over there to show their talents to the world, and try to unify together for a great experience. China/Beijing doesn't make this any easier to do. I think if I was an athlete I'd be pulling myself out of this years games, I wouldn't be able to go to a country that publicly announces their views like this.
