How many times have you heard that when your little ones were doing crafts, or painting on a table? I know ours have said it many times. Even I've said it a few times helping them out. Lucky for us, along came the Oops Mat!

This great little invention was created by Marla and Dan when they were observing their niece and nephew as all kids do, creating artwork on the kitchen table, and having to put newspapers down to help protect the table from the many Oops' that were heard. The newspapers just weren't the solution to the problem, so the Oops Mat was invented.

So, what is an Oops Mat? Well, the Oops Mat is a child craft mat that "Helps prevent life's little Oops!" while your child is doing art and craft activities. All you have to do is place an Oops Mat onto your table, floor, coffee table or anywhere your child will be doing their 'work'. The Oops Mat will help protect that surface from any oops', it will all go onto the Oops Mat. The Oops Mat's colors and bright border will encourage them to want to use their Oops Mat all the time (and believe me, this is true, thank goodness for having 2 of them so there are no fights!).

We got a chance to try out the Oops Mat with our girls. We have the Original sized Oops Mat which is 24" x 36" in size and is also made of heavy duty vinyl fabric. I can say, it's a lifesaver and time saver as well, instead of trying to put something under their work, making sure that it stays in the spot, the Oops Mat is just rolled out of the reusable tube, and onto the surface. The Oops mat is large enough that it covers a great area, and there shouldn't be any room for any oops'. As you can see from the picture, our girls can make quite a mess when doing crafts. For once there wasn't an oops in sight on the table! WOOHOO!!!

The mat also cleans up very easily with just some warm soapy water and a sponge, it was also easy to just place any glitter or scrap pieces of paper into the garbage by rolling the Oops mat up and just letting the pieces fall into the bag.

My girls just love their Oops Mats. They ask for them every time they do any sort of artwork or craft project now. My only suggestion that could make this great invention any better, would be to have the bottom of the Oops Mat, skid proof, I think it would just enhance this product even more.
