I was so excited when I was asked to do a review for Kushies. Not only is this a great company with so many items for children, but it also was founded and continues to be in my home town! Who would have thought?

Kushies baby designs carry quality baby products and accessories. They have been around for more than 50 years providing these great products. The Canadian company started in Stoney Creek, Ontario and was founded as a small "cottage-style" industry named Diana Dolls Wear Ltd. which at first became the only Canadian manufacturer of doll clothing and accessories for many of the major Canadian Department stores.

Diana Dolls Wear Ltd. grew and decided to expand into the infant children's market starting with a re-usable form-fitted cloth diaper, which is where the international name Kooshies came about for this new product line. Kooshies was awarded the "Ecologo" of the Canadian Ministry for their cloth diapers and received numerous other awards as well.

Because of trademarking in the United States, the named had to be changed from Kooshies, to Kushies in 2003.

Kushies is still located in Stoney Creek, Ontario and manufactures products from educational toys, to clothing. Kushies has a very strong presence in the baby products industry and has a commitment to quality and great customer service.
