This is a silly blog entry. Really it is....
But for me, it's exciting.
Those of you who know me know that I am Canadian. I moved to the United States oh boy, almost 7 years ago now (WOW time files). I first lived in Indiana when I moved here and now we're living in Ohio.
I miss home A LOT! I hope to move back one day, I'd love for the girls to live back in Canada for MANY MANY reasons that I won't go into.
Today we got 'basic' cable installed in the house. We had Dish Network but canceled it (again various reasons why which I won't go into ;) ). I can say, that I am loving having cable in the house. Not only for the fact that the girls now have TV upstairs in the guest room that they can go and watch, not only because I don't have to watch cartoons 24/7 now. BUT BECAUSE......
I now have a Canadian Channel!!!!!!!!
Yes it's a small thing, but it makes ME happy. I now have CBC coming out of Windsor Ontario. It's nice to catch up on the news from home actually on TV instead of online. And the girls are equally excited as I told them they can now watch the Canadian kids shows they love so much in the morning that we never got before.
So that's my exciting news lol. Yes I said it was petty, but I'm excited and that's all that matters lol.
