With my oldest in school now, it’s a whole new world when it comes to snack items. When she was home, having her eat healthy snacks wasn’t much of an issue, but it seems like most pre-packaged snacks that would fit nicely in her lunch box just aren’t that healthy! That’s why when I found Pirate’s Booty snacks, I was one happy mommy!Pirate’s Booty has some really yummy snacks that not only my kids enjoyed but I did as well. The snacks are made with puffed rice and corn and are all natural, baked, trans fat and gluten free. There’s only 130 calories (or less) per single serving bag and they’re 50% less fat than potato chips per serving. There isn’t much NOT to like about these snacks, great for the entire family!
My girl’s favorite item had to be the Aged White Cheddar Puffs, they couldn’t get enough of
them, and although I did separate the bag into smaller baggies for school, the single serving bag still has a lot of portions to share. The girls asked for more almost daily and were quite sad when we ran out; I’ll be hunting for these snacks on our next shopping trip!My favorite was the sea Salt & Vinegar puffs. SO GOOD! Gave me that satisfying taste when I was craving some salt & vinegar chips but without the bad stuff and all the horrible calories that come with them. I loved all their flavors of Pirate’s Booty Snacks the girls however were not big fans of the Veggie so that bag was left for me.
These great snacks won’t disappoint, if you see them in the store the next time your shopping don’t pass them up, grab them for yourself or your kids for an alternative to bad snacking options.
