Dear cravings....I hate you!

You know what I hate… Being on a freaking diet!! OK maybe I shouldn’t call it a diet, a ‘lifestyle change’. Since being diagnosed as a Type II Diabetic, it’s been a huge struggle to eat properly and healthy especially around Easter and that time of the month…

I CRAVE carbs when I’m PMSing, carbs and chocolate, and let me kid you not, the sugar free stuff just isn’t the same! With Easter having just left, there’s a ton of chocolate and candy in the house, and it’s driving me crazy!

My girls wanted to bake, so we baked some cookies and some cupcakes. I had to hide them, but hiding them from yourself isn’t the smartest thing to do, because what did I do? I found them, just a quick walk to the kitchen and a look up top of the fridge and there I can find chocolate and vanilla cupcakes..

It’s hard, it’s VERY hard, but I’m trying to hold myself back and make the best of it… Ugh.. Are you having a hard time with willpower and all of those Easter treats around the house?

Spring has FINALLY arrived in Ohio! Although it's all in the form of RAIN! Ugh! I guess it could be worse, it could be snow.

We had a great weekend, it was beautiful on Saturday and Sunday, perfect for Easter! Perfect for outside, perfect for the kids to run around and play on some commercial playground equipment! We got the outdoor toys out, the see-saw set up, bubbles, jump ropes and they all had a blast!

How was your Easter weekend? Do anything exciting? I had my family over, I didn't have to cook thank goodness because we decided to head out for dinner on Easter! Bd's Mongolian Grill, my favorite!

I have some giveaway winner's to announce, I haven't been around lately I know. I've been busy at home, I've been behind on my main blog and trying to catch up there. We've also been doing some spring cleaning, getting the girls bikes ready for them to ride. I've just been a busy busy lady!

While getting the girls bikes out and ready for spring, I've been thinking about getting myself one as well, so that we could possibly take bike rides together as a family on the biking trails. I'd also love to take one on camping trips with us as well, so I've been taking a look at some of the Folding Bicycles that are available, has anyone ever used one? Do you like it? Any pros/cons you can give me?

They seem interesting enough, and something perfectly portable to take on camping trips!
