Why is it when we're going away, ONLY for a weekend, my children feel the need to pack just about every toy they own!
We're headed to Canada this weekend to visit my parents and for some adult time with my best friend. How lucky do I feel, 2 weekends in a row I get out without kids! This is probably a first in the past 6 years!
I'm however, ready to leave, the children have made my work extra hard before we go though because now I have to UNPACK everything they packed. You'd think they were going to live at my parents house or something. It's only for a weekend, yet the amount of toys, books etc. that they've packed is unbelievable. Not to mention that they have all this stuff at their grandparents house already for when they come visit...

I could use a good vacation right about now. I love when little kids think they need to bring everything they own - wait that sounds a lot like my wife.

Well my niece doesn't bring all of her toys but she has this huge obsession with her bags (I think I have a future shopaholic here). Hope your weekend was great!
