Things my girls love... Books, crafts, art, animals, anything pink and playing their Nintendo DS. My girls are actually probably pretty spoiled when it comes to their DS games, I can't even count how many they have, and while we do put some restrictions on how much and when they can play their Nintendo DS, they're pretty good with it. They have their few favorite games that you can find them play all the time, and they've just recently added to that favorites list.
Lovely Lisa and Friends for the Nintendo DS and Dsi has quickly become one of the girls top favorite games. With the ability to play dress-up in a virtual world Lovely Lisa and Friends just doesn't stop there. You need to learn responsibility as well by doing things such as helping out mom and dad with chores and different tasks.
Lovely Lisa and Friends is the follow up game to the Lovely Lisa game released earlier this year, which until recently I have never heard of. Perhaps Nintendo needs to put more focus and emphasis on showing these great games to consumers rather than focusing just on the Mario and Wii Fit games of the world.
My daughters really enjoy doing the tasks and moving Lovely Lisa and her friends up in the game by unlocking different features, and they do love being girls and doing the fashion bits as well. Another great feature that this game has, is that it lets young girls explore a lot of different career options like being a florist, and nurse rather than just being a fashionista.
The graphics on this game aren't anything spectacular, in fact it reminds me of some of the older games rather than a newer one, but to my 4 and 6 year old, it's more about what the game has in store for them rather than the graphics. But, if you do have the Nintendo Dsi you're able to use the camera as well and create costume outfits with your own style!
