Making a K'NEXion with little builders...

My youngest is into the ‘building stage’ right now, she’ll take just about anything and build something with it. We’ve decided for Christmas we’ll be looking for the perfect building set for her age (3-4), nothing that’s just for babies, and nothing that’s to small that mommy and daddy are going to step on and kill ourselves with.

Team Mom and KNEX provided us with a great sample of the perfect gift for my daughter! The Sesame Street Neighborhood Collection Building Sets. These sets are for ages 2-5 years and help children build and play with some of their favorite Sesame Street Characters, one of which being my child’s favorite Elmo!!!

Once she saw Elmo she was ready to build, build, and build! I love the set because it doesn’t come with an overwhelming amount of pieces, and the pieces are large enough for her little hands to handle without being too large like they were a baby and pleasing mom and dad because they’re not so small that she’s going to lose pieces where our feet will find them first. She builds with confidence and excitement, loving the fact that she can take the pieces and build what’s supposed to be made, or think outside the box and get creative!

There are four sets in the Sesame Street K’NEX collection and we can’t wait to grab some more this holiday season so she can build her own little Sesame Street.
