I tell ya, it’s been quite a while since I’ve been out actively searching for garage sales, but today we decided to take the girls and head out at 8am and do some bargain shopping! We ventured off into the world of garage sales.I don’t get to do this much when I’m at home, I have no friends around and I don’t drive and never mind the fact that my hubby couldn’t stand to just drive around going from sale to sale, so it was a treat to head out with my best friend to get some good deals.
We saw some great things, mostly larger items that I would have loved to purchase had I been home or had a truck to haul back to the USA. A picnic table for the girls, a great bedroom set for their room, even a new tv stand that would have looked great in our living room.
Oh well, we got some good deals on some toys and books for the girls and some knick knacks for Grandma and Grandpa. It’s probably for the best, being out here for so long, I’m running out of money and there’s always something for me to do to spend that on.
