Ahh to be green! It’s something I’d love to completely do in my home. To be honest, I’m not much of a ‘green’ girl, and we’re not much of a ‘green’ household. We should be, money isn’t as tight as it used to be, but all these green things can sometimes be a bit pricy, either that, or maybe I just need to try a little bit harder for our household to go ‘green’ on our own.

We now have been homeowners for 2 years, and the fact that I can do any and everything to my own home without any restrictions anymore is a plus. One major thing we need to do, is re-do our basement. It’s horrible. Right now it just sits there empty, or well, rather, full of junk as well as our washer and dryer. Now this purchase was one made a long while ago, when we were still living in an apartment. Lucky for us, we had a washer/dryer hookup, not lucky was the fact that we were broke at the time, so the washer/dryer we have although works fine, isn’t the best of appliances. I’d love to purchase a new washer & dryer, one of those pretty new front-loading ones that you see all around right now, but I have to wait, just a bit longer. I don’t want to put a pretty new washer and dryer into our icky dingy basement until it’s finished and can enjoy the nice, pretty washer/dryer.
