It's really clean, it's really natural....

I really hate cleaning with chemicals, so I think it’s just great that more and more companies are going to natural, non toxic products for cleaning. Whenever I have the opportunity to try out a new cleaning product, that’s not bad for me, my family or the environment, I jump on the chance. So I was thrilled with trying out SC Johnson’s Nature’s Source Natural Bathroom cleaner.

Nature’s Source products use plant-based, biodegradable cleaners that have just the same cleaning power as Windex and Scrubbing bubbles or any other brand name that you already know and trust. The difference is, Nature’s Source products clean naturally and effectively leaving nothing but a fresh scent behind. Not only are the Nature’s Source products 99% natural, but they’re also packaged in recyclable bottles and partly produced by renewable energy from a local landfill. Nature’s Source is also recognized for safer chemistry by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Design for the Environment program.

What more can you ask for from a product? Nature's Source is great for the environment, a wonderful fresh clean scent instead of that harsh chemical smell a lot of other cleaners have, and it does a heck of a job cleaning as well. My tub, my sink, and even my toilet have that clean natural shine to them! We’re very into using these new products in our home, even better, this is something I have no problem letting the kids help me clean with, knowing they can learn and help to clean without the worry of chemicals. It’s really clean, it’s really natural, and that’s what I want!

Reuse packing peanuts in your container gardens. They're light and airy enough to allow for drainage—and mixing them in with potting soil reduces its weight and makes it much easier to move large potted plants.

I learned that any gadgets, electronic devices and appliances draw power even when they're switched off or not in use—just by being plugged in. These items include chargers for cell phones, VCRs, televisions, stereos, computers, and kitchen appliances. As you make your way through your home, look for devices not currently in use and unplug them.

While it was disappointing to learn, I learned that the Nature's Source products are not available in refill bottles. The bottles may be 100% recyclable, but re-using them before recycling them helps save energy too.
