For me to listen to something other than Hip Hop or R&B is an adventure. As my husband says I’m a music snob, if it’s not Hip Hop/R&B or Reggae, I won’t listen to it. Well I decided to prove him wrong! I took a leap forward and found the “He’s Just Not That Into You” Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and popped it into my cd player.
The CD has some pretty catchy tunes on it, mostly from artists I personally have never heard of before like Corinne Bailey Rae, Tristan Prettyman, My Morning Jacket but there’s also a few that I have heard of like R.E.M., Maroon 5, and Lilly Allen.
Here’s the full list of tracks that can be found on the CD
1. I'd Like To (Corinne Bailey Rae)
2. I'm Amazed (My Morning Jacket)
3. Don't You Want Me (Human League)
4. Supernatural Superserious (R.E.M.)
5. Madly (Tristan Prettyman)
6. This Must Be The Place (Talking Heads)
7. By Your Side (Black Crows)
8. I Must Be High (Wilco)
9. You Make It Real (James Morrison)
10. If I Never See Your Face Again (Maroon 5)
11. Can't Hardly Wait (The Replacements)
12. Fruit Machine (Ting Tings)
13. Smile (Lilly Allen)
14. Somewhere Only We Know (Keane)
15. Love, Save The Empty (Erin McCarley)
16. Friday I'm In Love (Cure)
17. Last Goodbye (Scarlett Johansson)
There are a few songs I could skip over, but overall I kept the CD in while I cleaned up and was able to tolerate it pretty well. My girls however seemed to be big fans of the CD, so that’s always a plus, to find family friendly music that we can all listen to.
