The Fitness Challenge

I feel so guilty! With taking a few days off because I was sick, slacking on my eating and no exercise, I'm so afraid to weigh myself this week. To date I've lost about 7lbs (although that may have changed), I'm so excited to see some weight loss, and working out with my Wii Fit and with the help of sparkpeople.com videos I'm on my way to a new me, a healthier me, a sexier me and I can't WAIT!

My big issue isn't really around food. It's finding the time, and motivation to exercise daily. I tend to get really bored doing the same old thing all the time. I really want to do this on my own, without the help of pills the thought of me doing it on my own without the help of pills like Fenphedra is actually more appealing to me, it gives me more of a satisfaction I think. But here I am already complaining that I need some new Wii Fit games to help me on my way. I can't wait till winter is over, outside walks, hikes etc. More things to occupy myself with, with the weather lately, it's helped me out just a little. I hate shoveling the snow, I hate the cold weather but it gives me some extra exercise and variation. So with me getting really bored, and needing constant motivation, I'm always looking for new, fun and exciting things to help me out.

I came across this interesting concept of a fitness board game. Yup, you read that right, a board game. The Fitness Challenge board game isn't really your traditional board game, it's fun (at least we think so) and it's really motivating. The game is designed for you to pick a partner (like your spouse) and it's there to help motivate while you compete with each other. The game is a fitness motivational tool used to get you (and your partner) to exercise AT LEAST three days a week, for eight weeks. There's a variety and wide range of workout choices, and different fitness activities you can partake in, no one is left out.

The fun part is competing with your spouse. Rodney isn't too much into diet, or loosing weight, he's all about getting healthy and helping keep me motivated though, so he's in on trying this game. We're just starting out so we'll see how it goes. The game is fun, and cute! For the next 8 weeks the game will provide us with tools, ideas and even coupons (which you can write the terms of) that can be used if someone fails to meet their goals, we've even made up a few 'rules' of our own and are having a lot of fun with this concept. If anything, it's something for us to do together as a couple, and that's always a plus!

This is a great idea for families or spouses who are looking for a fun way to get fit and healthy! Who's a better person to compete with than your husband or wife! Make getting healthier and finding ways to get fitness in FUN! That really sounds like fun. I would definitely like to have a Wii fit. I'm like you, I like variety in my workout... I signed up for sparkpeople eons ago and it's been so long since I signed on.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I am sure even if you had a little setback because of illness that you'll bounce right back.
