Time to be a cute little baker...

Well, I’m sitting here in my kitchen thinking about cooking. I need to cook I’m not in the mood today, plus I have a billion apples and I need to make something with them tonight. I figured I’d get a blog post in; maybe it would encourage me to start cooking and baking.

What are you having for dinner tonight? The girls have asked for perogies, really I’m not in the mood for those; I’m thinking my friend’s great hot and sour soup and some chicken fried rice. I really don’t know. But I will tell you, I’m going to be making some Apple Cake per Lyric’s request. I’m not much of a baker, so hopefully this turns out. Here’s the recipe:

Apple Cake recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar.
2 cups of diced apples.
1 beaten egg.
1/2 cup of vegetable oil.
1 1/2 cups of flour.
1 teaspoon of baking soda.
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Preparation Instructions:
Mix in order. Pour into a greased 8*8 inch pan. Bake until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Bake at 350F for half an hour.

I guess I’ll come back and let you all know how it turned out….Wish me luck as I go and make myself think I’m a great baker, put on a cute apron and a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes and be a cute little baking housewife….. YA RIGHT!!!!

Ha, for the price of those shoes, the shoes better cook, clean, and babysit.

Too bad you couldn't convince them to let you do a product review for them... or could you? :)
