Easy Homemade Halloween Costumes

This Halloween seems to be a sort of 'crunch time' for a lot of families. The economy stinks right now and we're all feeling the squeeze, and lets face it. Kid's Halloween costumes aren't as cheap as they used to be, but we want to make sure our kiddos get to dress up.

Craft Magazine figured out a way to make cute and cool costumes for your kiddos on a budget with fun and funky costumes your kids and yourself can make simply by raiding your recycling bin, sewing box or local craft store. It's easy, simple, fun and of course easier on your wallet than a pre-made costume you buy at the store.

There are five really cute kid friendly costumes that you and your kids can easily and quickly whip up with things you probably already have on hand at home. With using those items and a bit of creativity you'll have some great custom-made outfits for little money.
