6 Wonderful Years

Yesterday me and Rodney celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. I can't believe that has been 6 years already, time sure does fly. 6 years, and 2 brats, drama queens, beautiful children later we're still around and as in much love as we were the day the picture was taken on our wedding day.

Once again we didn't really do much at all yesterday, with the current circumstances going on about being unemployed there wasn't really much we could do. We did the usual boring thing at home all day, and then we decided, we needed a treat, we had to do something. So we got dressed and took the girls and we went to Red Robin for dinner. We had a great time. I just keep wondering WHEN we'll actually be able to celebrate an anniversary, to this date we have yet to do anything, either I was pregnant, or we are broke, or now, jobless. We didn't even get a honeymoon when we were married.

Our plan was that on our 5 year wedding anniversary we'd take a trip somewhere together, the plan was to go to Disney, but then we felt bad because that's something we should be doing with the girls, and well, we were also broke. So we went overnight and left the girls with Rodney's parents and we went to a WWE Match. Boring? I think not, as you all know that's one of my passions, so I was perfectly happy with that.

My plan is, that on our 10 year anniversary we ARE going to go somewhere, no matter what, alone, no kids, basking in the sunshine SOMEWHERE and if we don't, someone is going to get their head blown off lol.

So, I wish my wonderful husband a Happy 6 Year Anniversary, and I can't wait to spend the next 600 years (or so lol) loving him to death!

Hi Gina,
Happy Anniversary to you and Rodney. You definitely need to treat yourself on the 10 year. Kev and I celebrated with a vow renewal at a Couples only resort in Jamaica (it's called Couples.com-we stayed at Swept Away if you want to check it out). We are heading back this Dec. and I tell you that trip would be totally worth it. Ya'll need a vacation!

That's very sweet and funny. :D Happy Anniversary and I wish for you to have the trip you desire for your 10th anniversary ... that's not too far away. Starting saving what little you can now then it won't be such a stretch.

Happy Anniversary! You guys look darling in your pic! We haven't done much for our anniversaries or our honeymoon either. We're always broke. One year we did go to Turpentine Creek in Arkansas for a few days, though. It's a big cat reserve, and we had a wonderful and exciting time.

I hope you guys eventually get that special vacation one day, too!
