HAPPY CANADA DAY to all my fellow Canadians. This is one of the 'harder' times of the year when I really miss being home in Ontario. I miss the Canada Day celebrations and festivals, especially in Hamilton. I miss going to Gage Park and the It's Your Festival that happens Canada Day Weekend, so fun, I can't wait to one day take the girls up there to celebrate 'part' of their own heritage.Although we could have gone this year back home to enjoy the festivities, we're leaving for Atlanta next week and just couldn't (nor did we really want to) fit in two trips in a 2 week span.
So to everyone celebrating Canada Day today, enjoy it, be proud to be Canadian and cherish that country, you always think the grass is greener on the other side, believe me, it's not!
