Circletime Kids

Being that we're an interracial family, and from different cultures as well (Rodney being purely American, and me being Italian/Canadian), I'm always on the lookout for multicultural websites, and products for the girls. It's important to me to be able to teach them about different people and different cultures around the world.

Recently I ran across a website called Circletime Kids. This website is a free multicultural World Library full of resources to give the ability to teach and introduce different languages and cultures of the world. The website encourages this through songs, food, activities and more.

Circletime Kids allows children from around the world to gather and learn about each other's languages, traditions and culture via the internet and a safe website.

It's a great way to keep the 'cultural' traditions of your own family going, even if your like me, who doesn't get to bring your children around most of your family to enjoy those traditions anymore, you can now learn through Circletime Kids what traditions from your background/culture than you can teach your own family.

On the website you'll find recipe's, crafts, free printables and even an online community where you can share various things with others around the world. Each month Circletime Kids also does a 'featured' country that you can learn about. For the month of April their featured country is China.

Check out Circletime Kids with your little ones.
