HeyJute!!!

For me it's the best of both worlds. Finding GREAT reusable bags and it being a Canadian company.

HeyJute is an Accessory House that has a Canadian team of creative individuals who try to offer unique accessories that are anything but your assembly-line type synthetic products.

With the company wide belief in love, music and peace HeyJute choses to make the world a better place by being eco-friendly and helping those in need around the globe.

Now wondering why their name is HeyJute? Well this company has decided to use Jute with their products. What is Jute? According to the HeyJute website:
Jute is a long, soft, shiny plant fibre that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. It is produced from plants in the genus Corchorus. Jute is second only to cotton, in amount produced and its variety of uses. Jute fibres are composed primarily of the plant materials cellulose and lignin.
Jute is also 100% bio-degradable and recyclable and has many more benefits as well, you can see the list of the benefits of Jute by visiting the HeyJute website here.

From fashion to home decor, laptop sleeves to beach totes, HeyJute has so many great environmentally friendly products that anyone could use, they even carry iPod cases!

I own both a beach tote bag and a sling bag from HeyJute. I can say that they are great bags, very roomy and its great to know they're environmentally friendly. My sling bag is my favorite, made with a jute-cotton blend it's so soft and comfortable to wear on my shoulder, it also has a divider pouch inside which is great when I take it with me to keep my things on one side and the kiddos on the other. My beach tote bag is just great, I can't wait to use it the next time we're headed out for an outdoor outing, its big (15"x15"x6") and is perfect to store all you need for the outdoors, it also has a pouch inside which is handy to keep those lotions in.

Visit www.heyjute.com for more information and to see more of their great eco-friendly products!
