Paper Shouts & Bride Wars...

Spring arrives and that means another round of weddings are coming to be. It seems that spring and summer are the “It” month’s for weddings to happen, and heck who could blame anyone for picking those seasons. We had our wedding in August; it was way too hot even for an outdoor wedding, and sometimes I wish we had opted for a springtime wedding instead heck, maybe we should have just gone to the courthouse and then actually had a honeymoon even at a simple places like the San Diego airport hotel. Oh well, I’ll remember that when it comes time for our girls to be married, MANY, MANY, MANY years from now.

Until then, I don’t have to worry about all this wedding stuff, but I can still admire it and laugh about it too. Laugh? About a wedding? Yes, your right laughs about a wedding. Have you seen the movie BRIDE WARS? It’s a really cute and funny movie for all us ‘chicks’ out there. Here’s a brief synopsis of the movie:
Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway), best friends since childhood, are always there for each other, through good times and bad. They even become engaged to be married within a few hours of one another. Together they plan their respective weddings, each to take place at New York’s ultimate bridal destination, the Plaza Hotel. But a clerical error and subsequent clash in wedding dates pits the two brides – neither of whom will step aside – against each other, in a competition that quickly escalates into all-out war.
I’ve seen the movie and really enjoyed it. It made me happy that I didn’t have many mishaps with my planning or wedding. The only thing I did wish I had was better invitations. If I had known about great places like Paper Shouts at the time of my wedding I could have had stylish invitations that were more my style, and probably way more affordable as well, other than what I settled for.

Paper Shouts is one of my favorite places for invitations, I’ve written about them a few times on my blog. Their prices are great, their styles are amazing and the customization is great as well. Paper Shouts is a place that must be seen when thinking of your next invitation, or even if you’re just looking for some simple note cards or stationary. Paper Shouts won’t do you wrong, as they say, why whisper when you can shout!

Paper Shouts and 20th Century Fox have teamed up to promote the release of the BRIDE WARS movie available on Blu-Ray and DVD on April 28th. Great movies influence great style! And every bride--past, present and future--cares about style. Brides, moms, birthday girls—every women has a style and likes to show off that style in the way they dress, the cars they drive and the stationery they use to share life’s big moments with family and friends.
